Chris Collard is the Editor-in-Chief of the Overland Journal, an international Vehicle-dependent adventure magazine. He took a leap toward his passion and left a 17-year position to pursue a career in photojournalism. That was the late 90s and since then he’s published hundreds of articles and thousands of images in over a dozen publications on six continents. He’s traveled the world shooting in the outback of Australia, the Moroccan Sahara, the jungles of Venezuela to the Kalahari Desert. He raced James Garner’s 1970 Oldsmobile 442, the “grabber Olds” with off-road legend Rod Hall and he drove Mark Smith’s original Expedicion de las Americas Jeep CJ-7 across South America just to name a few of his many adventures. In 2013 Chris was inducted in to the Off-Road Motorsports Hall of Fame as a pioneering journalist.
Shelby Hall is a Professional Driver, Trainer, Event Facilitator, and Spokesperson at the Rod Hall Racing team. She spent seven years as the Administrator of the Off-Road Motorsports Hall of Fame and she’s the Event Director of Rod Hall DRIVE organizing dynamic 4X4 events for clients around the world. Shelby has been off-roading since her grandfather, off road racing legend Rod Hall, introduced her to the sport as soon as she was able to reach the steering wheel. Over the past four years she has competed in numerous endurance races including: The Baja 1000 and the inaugural all-female Rebelle Rally where she traveled over 1,200 miles on a 7-day trek.
Marty Fiolka is the President of The Rennsport Group PR and Marketing agency that he founded in 1995. His clients include Nissan, Infinite, Exxon, and Mitsubishi, to name just a few. He is the authoritative off-road racing historian, industry spokesperson, and author. He was inducted in to the Off-Road Motorsports Hall of Fame in 2014. Marty’s a seasoned off-road racer and has competed in many desert and short-course events, including 15 Baja 1000s. Marty just completed a new documentary film titled Baja Social Club and he just published a 532 page history book on McMillin Racing entitled Big Blue M the McMillin Racing Story.
