Back am I with substitute teacher Trey for Episodes and 7
Back are we for the finale to House of the Dragon Season 2.
And we are back with, in my opinion, one of the best podcast episodes we've done, so far, for Season 2.
And we are back to discuss House of the Dragon Season 2 Episode 4 - The Red Dragon and the Gold. Now that some time has passed is it still one of the best episodes they've put out or is this another case of "ham sandwich"
Back are we with a discussion of the first three episodes of House of the Dragon, with a main focus of Episode 3 The Burning Mill.
Back are we with, arguably, one of the best episodes in the franchise, both for Game of Thrones and House of the Dragon. This episode, by itself, proves that HotD is a worthy prequel to Thrones by having our character interactions feel like real people. Rhaenyra and Daemon, Otto and Aegon taking the spotlight. Good times all around.
It's that time of the year again where we discuss the dragon show. Preston will be busy with work for the next week or two so I've enlisted Trey the Explainer to join me for the return of the Game of Thrones Podcast (unofficial) to discuss the premiere episode of Season 2. We go into Blood & Cheese, Jace and Cregan and even discuss a few other things as well. Special Guest @TREYtheExplainer
Back are we for another Star Wars and another culture war battleground for...some...reason. Seriously, the irony of us discussing these on our channel is to see that like/dislike ratio turn into an actual lightsaber.
We are back to discuss Jonathan Nolan's newest show: Fallout. Based on the wildly popular game by Bethesda, we folow Lucy as she ventures out into post-apocalyptic America in search of her father. Special guest: Nes from TheComicsWiki

Preston and I go over gsteff's research on early drafts of A Game of Thrones from 1993 and 1994, compared to the published version in 1996. We discuss Cersei being behind the Jon Arryn incident, a darker Ned, Ser Hugh and a few other significant changes.
Bringing back special guest @TREYtheExplainer to discuss with us the #HouseofTheDragon season 2 trailer and Trey makes it very clear on if he stands with #TeamBlack or #TeamGreen. Preston also explains to us how the maesters are behind everything Check out the full episode here: https://www.patreon.com/redteamreview or www.youtube.com/user/XIIICarmine/join
Back in 2019 we got news that HBO was going ahead with a Game of Thrones prequel about the White Walkers, the Starks and Lannisters...and then decided to cancel it. Now, 5 years later, some new details have emerged.
On January 29th George put out a concerning blog post on his frustrations with the state of the world and how he feels powerless to do anything about it, among other things. Lets talk about it Full Episode Here: https://www.patreon.com/redteamreview or www.youtube.com/user/XIIICarmine/join

Last time Preston invited Trey to do a quiz on Sporcle and the questions were not that great...so I thought: Why not have a re-do of the quiz that Preston gave me many years ago but as a nice bit of competition between Trey and myself and well...here we are. While Trey was on with us we also decided to discuss Reddit user Zionius' post about the A Feast for Crows outline (This is different than the drafts from Gsteff last year). 0:00 - Quiz 48:54 - AFFC Outline Links for the Reddit Post and Preston's own Quiz are here: The quiz: https://www.sporcle.com/games/PrestonSweet/sweetrobins-a-song-of-ice-and-fire-quiz-number-1 The Reddit post: reddit.com/r/asoiaf/comments/18519cz/spoilers_extended_grrms_20032004_outline_for_affc

And we are back for one hell of a nostalgia trip with episode 5 of Ahsoka
Halfway through the season and so far the best sodee.
Back are we for Ahsoka episode 3

Back are we to chat about Marvel's Secret Invasion episodes 3 and 4
Back are we for Marvel's Secret Invasion so help a brother out and check it out
Hollywood is officially running out of ideas and, in the process, is set to ruin everything holy and sacred...or is it? Variety tweeted out about a potential Lord of the Rings reboot but it didn't seem like that was the case. Lets talk about it. It's no secret that when you hop on over to social media you see tons of fans going at each other over their loyalties towards Rhaenyra or Alicent's faction but in doing so they miss the point. Full Episode Here: https://www.patreon.com/redteamreviewor or www.youtube.com/user/XIIICarmine/join

Preston hit me up a while back to rant about how bad he thought the Barry series finale was so...here's our discussion on it. For those of you wondering: I never planned on watching all of Barry and just watched a recap of the first few seasons but binged the last one. It was pleasant and I plan on going back and checking out the other seasons soon.
And we are back to discuss the Writer's Strike and its impact on the hedge Knight as well as other shows, how Joe Rogan isn't really a comedian and Star Wars Vision Season 2. 0:00 - George & Strike 16:42 - Modern Television 41:42 - Star Wars Visions S2 (This would've been uploaded a week ago but I've been very sick and busy house hunting/moving. Sorry for the wait on this one I've been a little under the weather. Mandalorian Season 3 is over and I must say it was tough getting through it at times.
Back are we since the end of House of the Dragon with our first Game of Thrones Podcast episode of 2023. We normally reserve these for the books, shows or major announcement and we're here to talk about just that: the Dunk & Egg spinoff is officially going forward at HBO.
And we are back with a special guest, and a dear friend, Trey the Explainer to discuss Lomas Longstrider. trey has been wanting to tell us about his findings for quite some time and, of course, Preston couldn't help but geek out with him over their love of history. Quick side note: The entire podcast is almost 2 hours. The 1st hour here is dedicated to Preston and Trey's discussion on Lomas and history while the 2nd hour is us discussing what's going on in the news with HBO, HotD, Prequels, Star Wars, Lord of the Rings and all that.

Back are we to discuss Oberyn and Lyanna's journey into fungus zombieland. It's very rare you'll see an adaptation, whether it be book or video game, do so much justice to the source material but here we are. With only 3 amazing episodes in, it is possible that we have broken the video game curse
With the troubling news from George that many of the Game of Thrones spinoffs might be shelved or cancelled we take a look at 2 ideas that are the most likely to survive and why they're the best ideas to be made.
