The Character of Revival — Part 3 “Will You not revive us again, that Your people may rejoice in You?” — Psalm 85:6 Revival is sustained by what we choose daily. Not hype. Not history. But obedience, humility, and hunger for God. In Part 3, we look at what it means to carry revival forward — how a revived heart lives, responds, and remains aligned when God begins to move. This is where revival becomes more than an encounter — it becomes a way of life.
The Character of Revival “Will You not revive us again, that Your people may rejoice in You?” — Psalm 85:6 Revival is not just a moment in history — it is a journey of the heart. This week, we explore the character of true revival: how it begins quietly in private lives, grows through repentance and faith, and ultimately transforms the Church.

How do we face the failures of our past and the challenges of the future? In Nehemiah 9 we see the path we're called to follow is one of confession. A deep connection with the Lord will always involve a deep confession. It's an easily misunderstood spiritual practice, but one that if we engage in properly can lead us into greater joy.
Last Sunday, Nehemiah 8:1-12 taught us that the ultimate reason why walls were rebuilt was so that worship would be restored. Walls were necessary. Worship was the goal. We saw the people of Jerusalem rediscover God's Word, repent of their sins, and rejoice in the Gospel. This Sunday, Nehemiah 8:13-18 reveals one additional step they take in their journey from ruins to revival: the step of obedience. We hope you join us this Sunday to discover how obedience to God completes our joy.

We're sitting back down with the new owners of one of Nebraska's most iconic companies — the legendary Dehner Boot Company, established in 1875. Once crafting boots for the likes of General Patton, Ronald Reagan, and even Walt Disney, Dehner's name is stitched into American history. Now, it's being stitched into the future by a retired military husband-and-wife team who traded service uniforms for boot leather and business grit. They've taken on the challenge of reviving a time-honored brand while staying true to its custom-made craftsmanship and high standards — no shortcuts, no mass production, just real work with real meaning. This is Part 1 of a remarkable story about legacy, risk, and the search for the Good Life in Nebraska. It's about more than boots — it's about purpose, passion, and preserving something worth saving.Show notes & Sponsor links:Dehner Boot Co.

Ralph Sutera is an evangelist who saw revival in Saskatchewan, Canada Revival is not a periodic event or emotional spectacle, but a profound spiritual reawakening rooted in genuine repentance, personal surrender, and a transformed worldview that places God at the center of life. It arises when believers humble themselves, seek God's face, turn from sin, and allow Him to restore what has been lost—joy, divine consciousness, and a sense of royal identity as children of God. The sermon emphasizes that true revival is marked by a shift from self-centered religious performance to a life of worship, intimacy with God, and holy living, where the Holy Spirit fills those who have died to self. It is illustrated through personal testimonies of transformation, including restored marriages, renewed pastors, and aging saints who surrendered their wills to God, demonstrating that revival is not about programs or schedules, but about God taking control of hearts and lives. Ultimately, revival is a divine call to authenticity, where individuals are revived not merely for personal benefit, but to become living witnesses of God's glory, capable of impacting nations and generations.
