First, Angel discovers Darla has returned in the flesh! However, the rest of Angel Investigations believes him about as much as the Scoobies believed Buffy. When he tries to get proof, he crosses wires with Ladycop Kate, who opens an investigation into him.   Then, a powerful warlock hires Angel to protect his precious daughter, Virginia.
