In this solo episode, Tina Tower dives deep into the real-world strategies she uses to conquer procrastination, stay motivated, and take unstoppable action in her business and life. Tina offers 10 actionable techniques that are practical and proven, highlighting that success often comes down to consistent action—even when the feeling isn't there. Whether you're building a course, growing a digital business, or just trying to stay on track with your goals, this episode is packed with tangible tips to help you get out of your head, stop overthinking, and actually get things DONE. Key Topics Covered: Break Big Tasks Down: Tackle overwhelm by breaking large projects into bite-sized, actionable chunks. Use project management tools like Monday.com to list the small steps and work through them one at a time for a confidence boost. Pomodoro Timer Technique: Focus in short, timed sprints for 25 minutes followed by a 5-minute break. This helps train your brain to focus, especially if you struggle with attention or frequently get distracted. Block Distractions: Use apps like Freedom or Opal to block social media, emails, and other time-sapping distractions so you can stay laser-focused on the task at hand. Stay Organized with Project Management: Tools like Monday.com, Asana, ClickUp, and Trello can systemize your workflow, help you brain dump ideas, and prioritize work so you know exactly what to focus on. Set Clear Work Windows: Time block your day and give yourself realistic, defined periods to work. Setting boundaries (like strict start and end times or sprinting to deadlines) builds urgency and momentum. Just Start—for 10 Minutes: Commit to working on tough tasks for just 10 minutes. Action often creates motivation; once you get started, you're more likely to find your flow and keep going. Reward Yourself: Celebrate milestones, even small ones! Whether it's a treat, a walk, or a bigger reward after a big project, pairing achievements with positive rewards builds self-trust and motivation. Done is Better Than Perfect: Don't let perfectionism become procrastination. Aim for excellence, but know when 80-90% is good enough to launch—improvements can come later! Visualize Success: Imagine your project, launch, or event completed successfully. Visualization transforms overwhelm into clarity and gives you an emotional boost to follow through. Celebrate Your Wins: Mark every achievement, no matter the size. Regularly acknowledging your wins (publicly or privately) keeps you energized and builds confidence. Tina reminds listeners that procrastination is normal and doesn't mean you're lazy or broken—you may just need better systems or clearer motivation. She encourages you to try any (or all!) of these strategies today. Don't let procrastination hold you back from building your dream business and life. The world needs what you have to offer! Today's word of the day is ‘answer' as in response as in Thunder as in NBA Finals as in Pacers as in SGA. Oklahoma City rolled in Game 2 like everyone thought they would. Heartbreak in Game 1, but this team knows how to respond. How about the NBA putting the logo on the court digitally? Were you a fan of that? On the opposite side we have Coco Gauff and Aryna Sabalenka. Gauff won her second Grand Slam. Sabalenka won the first set and then was outplayed. After the match… sore loser times a million. (30:00) Review: Pee Wee as Himself (34:10) Corbin Burnes is done for the season. Another pitcher needing Tommy John. Here we go again. (44:00) I have never seen what happened to Ryan Weathers happen before. Drilled in the head by a throw to 2nd in a warmup. And he stayed in the game after being flat on the field. What? Bobby and Steve circle back on the offensive line which might be a strength for this Saints squad next season, what might be best for Trevor Penning could be playing inside, what the receiving core for the Saints beyond Olave and Shaheed might look like as the Saints will certainly need some more pass catchers, and more!

www.commsolutionsmn.com- For the most part, our local media is just the worst. Our illustrious governor has been touting our increased graduation rates in the state of Minnesota and our media outlets have been singing his praises as though he is the second coming of Woodrow Wilson. The problem? They haven't done one ounce of research to find out why more people are graduating. It doesn't take much effort to find out that the graduation standards have been lowered. All it takes is a little slight of hand to fool everyone into applauding for a complete illusion. President Trump has has an historic first 100 days. The Republicans hold the White House, the Senate, and the House of Representatives. They should just have to come in after President Trump and codify his Executive Orders into law. They have passed two things in 100 days, the Laken Riley Act and the continuing resolution. Where is Congress? They have promised President Trump a big, beautiful bill and it's still stuck in Congress. This bill won't even address Trump's "no taxes on tips" and "no taxes on overtime" campaign promises. There are a couple of bills floating around about the Gulf of America and repealing the Patriot Act, but will they ever get through committee?
In hour 4, Spadoni and Shasky discuss if they believe the Warriors will get it done tonight, plus Dave Flemming joins the show to give us his thoughts on the Giants, Warriors and the PGA Championship.
We talk about the lead up to the Champions league final, and the Lisbon Darby as Sporting and Benfica fight for first place in Portugal.

Communication Queen | entrepreneurship, marketing, storytelling, public speaking, and podcasting
Ever feel like your voice has to be wrapped in perfection before the world can hear it? In this raw, real, and radically empowering episode, Kimberly Spencer strips down the podcasting process — literally ditching her microphone — to show you how simple it can be to share your story now, not someday. With her newborn nursing in one arm and her laptop balanced between her knees, Kimberly broadcasts this episode from the corner of her couch — no pop filter, no studio, no problem. Because when your message is a mission, perfection is optional. She dives deep into how the “shoulds” we stack up — the professional mic, the polished setup, the perfect timing — are often the very obstacles blocking our impact. You'll learn how to reframe resistance, simplify your systems, and let go of performance pressure so your story can do what it was born to do: connect, convert, and catalyze transformation. Whether you're a podcaster, coach, speaker, or content creator, this episode is a heartfelt permission slip to let your voice be heard — as messy, magical, and meaningful as it is. Your voice is your power, Queen. Don't let a missing mic silence your message.
If you're struggling with automatic reactions, especially when you knew there was a better way to respond, then this episode is for you. We discuss the importance of observation and how you can try two simple exercises to help develop that sweet, slow moment where you can show up as you really want to be. Let's go.
Send us a textThis is part 2 of our conversation with Matt Blanchard. In this episode Matt describes what happened after a second car accident derailed his progress from the previous 15 years of recovery. He thrives in serving others in many ways, including through his organization St. George Adaptive Sports.Matt Blanchard is a Utah-based motivational speaker, devoted husband, and proud father of three. His journey is one of resilience, redemption, and the belief that life happens for him, not to him. Through relentless determination and daily therapy over a span of 15 years, he defied the odds and learned to walk again.Even beyond the physical challenges that the accident had imposed, Matt had other mountains to climb in his recovery. He struggled with an opiate addiction, which he overcame—only to face another life-altering moment in 2021 when a head-on collision with a drunk driver resulted in another spinal injury and broken bones that erased all the physical progress he had made since the previous accident. If you're constantly trying to control someone or something out there to feel at ease, then you're missing one very important principle that could change everything. It's the fact that your brain simply has thoughts. Doesn't matter if it's a good thought or a bad thought. If you BELIEVE you are the thought, then there are far fewer options to execute from, because the thought operates from a very limited perspective. Listen to this episode as we dive deeper into this subject so that you can tap into more of your true personal power.

If you've ever wondered how you could “toughen up” so that you don't ever have to feel “bad” again, well, this episode is for you. There's a nuance we must catch between an emotional reaction vs. an emotional response. An emotional reaction is when we react more to the story in our mind than the fact of what just happened. An emotional response is when we have a natural biological response to what just happened. However, more often than not, most people think that feeling “bad” is a weakness. But, what if feeling upset is absolutely valid? Wouldn't it be worse if we were apathetic, shut down, or unresponsive? There's no need to add suffering to pain. Listen now.
If you've ever wanted to see Personalization at work, then this is your episode. We're breaking down how one circumstance remains the same, and yet how multiple people can have different experiences. And when we're not careful, when we are not conscious of what is happening, we can easily get lost in other people's emotional reaction and lose sight of what really matters to you. Listen now.
