Hey everyone, welcome to another installment of Harry Potter Theory. Today we're going to discuss how Voldemort went about killing Severus Snape. Snape's death is a BIG topic in the Harry Potter story, and when he died it was a truly tragic moment in the series. That is unless of course you don't like Snape. As you progress through the books and films, your perception of Snape is constantly challenged- is he good? Bad? What are his intentions? And in the end, it turned out that Snape was almost more devoted to the cause than anyone.  Snape later dies in the Deathly Hallows, after Voldemort comes to the conclusion that he will need to kill Snape in order to become the true owner of the elder wand. However, we do also find out later on that Snape died in vain, as he was never the true owner of the elder wand after all - and was simply unnecessarily killed by Voldemort. However, what was always interesting about Voldemort killing Snape was that he didn't do it himself-he used Nagini. So we know that Snape ultimately dies at the hands, or mouth (rather) of Nagini on Voldemort's orders. But what I found unusual about Snape's death was the very significant ABSENCE of Avada Kedavra AKA the killing curse. Voldemort is a massive proponent of the killing curse, I mean.. he can't get enough of it, and it's very purpose is to kill. So, why wouldn't he use Avada Kedavra on Snape? Welcome to Harry Potter Theory. Today we're discussing how exactly Harry Potter's mum, Lily Potter, felt about the divisive—yet devoted—character of Professor Severus Snape. Since the release of The Deathly Hallows, it has become common knowledge—for those of us interested in Harry Potter lore—that the once reviled Severus Snape had actually lived nearly his entire life in servitude to his feelings for Lily Potter. From the time that he was a boy growing up in the industrial town of Cokeworth, England and met a neighbourhood girl called Lily Evans, all the way to his dying breath, Snape's actions in life were almost entirely motivated by his love for her. The most poignant passage describing Severus Snape's love for Lily Potter can be found in that final instalment of the series in the chapter titled The Prince's Tale, for it is here where Harry dives into Snape's memories and uncovers the depth of Snape's feelings for his mum. In one particular memory, Snape reveals to Dumbledore that his Patronus is a doe, the same as Lily's, symbolising his enduring love for her. When Dumbledore asks, “After all this time?”, Snape simply replies, “Always.” This single word encapsulates Snape's unwavering love for Lily, even after her death. Learn more about your ad choices. Harry und Ron kommen nicht, wie eigentlich geplant, zu dem Hogwarts Express und müssen sich eine anderen Weg zur Schule suchen. Sie schnappen sich das Auto von Mr. Weasley und fliegen los. Doch ihre Ankunft wird nicht so, wie sie es sich erhofft haben... Neben dem Kapitel, werden auch andere Dinge belabert und bequatscht und es wird ein Gewinnspielbeitrag vorgetragen. Manu beschwert sich darüber, dass Michel immer dumme Sachen recherchiert, und erfährt, dass Fenster meistens aus Glas sind. Viel Spaß!

Ein neues Wochenende, eine neue Folge Hagrids Hütte! In dieser Folge geht es um das Kapitel Nicholas Flamel ... Flaymel ... Flame-Al ... Flamehl ... egal. Endlich finden unsere drei Gryffindors heraus wer dieser mysteriöse Mensch ist und kommen dem Geheimnis um den Stein der Weisen immer näher. Harry hat außerdem noch ein spannendes, aber kurzes Quidditchspiel und Ron prügelt sich mit Malfoy. WOW! So viel Action! Manu und Michel verstricken sich natürlich auch wieder in einigen Themen, die kaum etwas mit Harry Potter zu tun haben (z.B. wie man als Kind Silvester feiert).
