Liz works her own version of "the list" in a fight for survival and to protect the only thing she has left, her daughter. Support the Show! Be sure to #FillTheFedora on Patreon. Case Profile for Elizabeth Keen Elizabeth Keen has lost her father, her grandfather, her husband, and according to Liz her mother all because of one man, RED. What started out as a list to catch the worst of the worst Elizabeth has found herself to be enemy numero uno at the very top of The Blacklist. As Liz looks to escape into hiding to plan her next move against her on again off again crime fighting partner, she looks to take down Red’s empire from the inside. See Liz has a list of her own and she is doing everything she can to get these big names to flip. Names like Brimely, Chuck, Morgan, Rutteger, Hede, even Marvin Gerard yes all of them are targets But remember Red’s cardinal rule, value Loyalty above all else. Every single attempt Liz makes this week to try and get one of the Syndicate to flip fails at every turn including even the man that went to prison for Red. Luckily there is a new man on the payroll in Skip Hadley and he knows how to play the long game for now. With Liz finally thinking like a criminal she convinces skip to flip and as a result steals $41M US from Red, scoops up her daughter and flies away to fight another day. Of course not before she hooks up with Ressler for a one night stand. Be sure to answer our profiling question of the week: What is on the flash drive from the archive? Red's Rhetoric Welcome to Red’s Rhetoric that part of the show where we feature two great scenes from Red himself that part words of wisdom. Then each week you can vote for your favorite here. This week our first story comes when Red talks about his health. Our second comes when Red hatches a plan. Which was your favorite? If you are very much not on the cool side vote #RedAsprin or if you want to write your own story vote #RedSteel. The Music for Elizabeth Keen Two tunes this week. First we hear "Ruins" from aYia as the team arrives at the train station looking for Liz. Then later in the episode we hear a cover/mashup of "One Way or Another" from Until The Ribbon Breaks. You can hear these songs via the official Blacklist playlist on Spotify or the same playlist recreated by us on Apple Music. In August 2020, my brother and I undertook St Columba's Way, a 180-mile pilgrimage from Iona in the west of Scotland to St Andrews in the east. This three-part series tracks the highs and lows, with this final episode following us as we complete the hike. Huge thanks to Until The Ribbon Breaks for use of their song 'Meru' to round out the episode! Want to support this podcast? Here's a fun way to do that: https://www.buymeacoffee.com/pilgrimpitstop

Well I just went on an album buying spree (and you should too!!) because once again, the research paid off. I listened to around 1500 bands. Narrowed that down to 100 or so. And then wrote out an itinerary of about 40 which, I actually got to see. It is so much work but the reward is so worth it. SXSW is really something I live for. To all my friends and family that helped make it such an awesome event, and for understanding when I could only hang out for 10 minutes because I had the next show to run off to, this podcast is my thank you. If you're curious where I was running off to, I have included my ridiculous itinerary below. I would love for someone to figure out how many miles I put it.Wed730-800 Keeper at Swan Dive Patio800-840 Aisha Burns at Lucille900-940 Marian Hill at Blackheart930-1000 Basecamp at Lucky Lounge1000-1040 The Seshen at The Iron Bear (TruThoughts Showcase)1100-1140 Odesza (badges only) at The Parish1130-1245 Kidnap Kid at V Lounge1200-1240 Little Simz at Latitude 301200-1240 Jared and the Mill at Esther's Follies1:00-1:50 The Last Bison at Esther's FolliesThur800-850 Rubblebucket at IFC Fairgrounds840-925 Doomtree at Karma Lounge930-1010 Until the Ribbon Breaks at Bar 961000-1040 Hypnotic Brass Ensemble at Flamingo Cantina1100-1140 Zionstereo at Speakeasy1200-1230 DeJ Loaf at Tap Room at The Market1230-200 Austin Bassdrive Sessions at Dozen ClubFriday730- Photay at Central Presbyterian 800- Irene Diaz at Flamingo Cantina830- Nyla at Palm Door910- Kate Tempest at Maggie Mae's Rooftop1000- Joel Laviolette at Russian House1100- Chadwick Stokes at Lucky Lounge1130- Badbadnotgood at place that used to be Antones1230- Ghostface Killah with Badbadnotgood at place that used to be Antones115-300 Hernan Catteno at KingdomSaturday230-300 GFOTY + Spinee at Hype Hotel300-345 A. There is no way I could cover them all in one mix. For example, I made no mention of when I went to see BADBADNOTGOOD and then it turned out that after their set, surprise, they were playing backup for Ghostface Killah! And that was just one of the many SXSW miracles I had. Also not on the podcast is Hernan Catteno building it up and breaking it down till 3am. So so good. Oh man and as always, Austin, you came through with so so much amazingly delicious food. Long story short, it was perfect. Always is. Can't wait to do it again. Oh and don't forget, you can check out all the SXSW playlists I put together on Spotify to dig into all the other bands. username: ActiveListener.
