Bill West with Bareknuckle Brand Marketing is my guest. I asked Bill to come on my show as a guest due to my gratitude for the work he and his team did for me approximately 7 years ago. As a business owner, there are times (sometimes too many times), we have to do a lot of things that we do not enjoy as business owner. I love hosting this podcast every week. I love helping my clients every day. However, I do not care for a lot of the minutiae, we business owners/entrepreneurs have to deal with to survive and be successful. One weekend this year, working again on a Saturday, I was a little down in the dumps, looked up from my desk, and saw my awesome Bankosaurus® smiling at me. I then looked at my Joey the T-Rex logo, and was happy again and filled with gratitude. I immediately sent Bill an email asking if he would like to come on this podcast to see how he could help other entrepreneurs/business owners succeed with their branding and marketing. It all begins with branding and if it was not for "The Code" process that Bill and his team put me through, I would not have my Joey the T-Rex or the Bankosaurus® to share with the world! Vertigo Chronic dizziness, along with nausea and even tinnitus, can be a stunningly awful game changer. Some people have to change their careers. Other isolate in misery. Others doctor hop or read doom and gloom on the Internet. The buck stops here. Listen to understand vertigo as healable. Often, rapidly. In this show you will learn: Why your vestibular system was the first system in the womb to develop. The various types of vertigo. How vertigo and even tinnitus may be “talking” to you, and how to hear what each is saying. Joey’s 12-week online course that has changed the vertigo path for thousands - including a dear friend and patient of Dr. Berkson’s. How Joey’s multi-layered background, especially in yoga ,was a perfect mix. What is “holding space” and why this is critical for both the patient and the doctor. How tinnitus can be seen as the body responding oddly to new cues. New cues make your physiology change and this new physiology gives off sound and language. That adds up to sounds in your inner ears. Wow. How doctors can optimally work with this information. Most all cases of vertigo and tinnitus are healable and often within months. When Joey’s new book Rock Steady is launching. Guest Joey Remenyi Joey is a special woman. She weaves scientific language and data along with healing words of a “priestess” creating a tapestry of wisdom. It’s not often a great healer has the capacity to also be a great healing storyteller. This show “holds this space” for listening to our illness and then learning the skills that reveal what your vertigo and noise are trying to help your vestibular system understand. Joey is the founder and director of “Seeking Balance International”. With her background in psychology, neuroscience, Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), a Masters in Clinical Vestibular Audiology, along with over 20 years of experience in yoga and the art of experiential neuroplasticity she is uniquely positioned to support and understand folks suffering with vertigo and tinnitus. Joey’s new book ROCK STEADY will be released mid-November. Look for it and her online course at SeekingBalance.com.au
Miley from Enumclaw has asked us for help with her man Joey who she thinks needs a fashion intervention. She says Joey has been tearing the sleeves off all his shirts to make home-made tank tops, which generally is a nice “country” look”, but she doesn’t think Joey has the arms to pull it off and is embarrassing himself. When Joey comes on he says the idea he is doing it for fashion is stupid, it’s just hot out and he likes to enjoy the summer weather and cool off a bit with short sleeves. But he does say he’s worried that if she is more concerned with how he looks than how he feels, then maybe he she doesn’t love him as much as he loves her. The P1’s have a lot to say to Miley about self-image and unconditional love, but we all agree that cut-off sleeves and Jorts are what make America great!
Hey Tanner Fans, Angela Bowen here, the host of Oh Mylanta Holy Chalupas: An Unofficial Full House Fuller House Podcast. Today in honor of Mother's day and Pam Tanner, I decided to cover Full House S5E2: Matchmaker Michelle, which aired on September 24, 1991. In this episode Michelle and Teddy scheme to couple Danny with their kindergarten teacher. I liked this episode because we get to see a vulnerable Michelle coping with the realization of the loss of her mother, a person she never got to meet and doesn't remember because she was so young when Pam died, not even a year old. Teddy awakens this feeling in her when he explains how great it is to have a mommy and Michelle unknowingly sets herself up for hurt and disappointment when she tries to make a love connection happen between Danny and her elderly kindergarten teacher Miss Wiltrout after she sees them cleaning a table together as well as smiling and laughing. Jesse's searching for a new hard edge look for his band in order to get music execs to see his band Jesse and the Rippers as not "soft". I can't say I blame them when all you do are covers and ballads. DJ and Kimmy trade living spaces and identities for a weekend. Join me on June 21, Father's day for the first of two In Honor of Father's Day and Danny Tanner themed episodes. First up is Full House S1E6 Daddy's Home, which aired on October 23, 1987. In this episode Danny realizes that he misses special moments with his daughters and decides to take a family fun day - twice. Jesse's current girlfriend is in town. and the second episode, Full House S4E12: Danny In Charge, which aired on December 14, 1990. In this episode When Joey and Jesse take a trip, Danny is alone in caring for the girls for the first time. Inside an Arizona Acting Internship Welcome back to the Dearing Acting Studio podcast! On this episode we have Shadow Mountain High School senior, Keegan Sinur. Keegan came into the studio to apply for an internship to get school credit hours and learn more about the acting industry. On this episode, we take a quick glance at what it's like to have an Arizona Acting Internship! Keegans Backstory Most of you know our studio producer, and director of media Joey Sweeney. Well, funny story, when Joey moved to Phoenix and transferred to Shadow Mountain, he met Keegan in the drama department and they quickly became close friends. They did multiple shows together including The Addams Family and Rock of Ages, but even after Joey graduated they kept in contact. When Joey heard Keegan was coming in he was ecstatic! Expectation vs. Reality Keegan came in expecting this internship to be the typical one we've all heard of. You come in, get the hours, and then it's all over and you forget about it. He was surprised to find that was NOT the case. Keegan says the job exceeded his expectations because he's learning and having a ton of fun! He was super nervous after the tough interview but was ready to take the opportunity and show he had what it takes. Valuable Lessons In just this ten minute podcast, Keegan and Matt reflect on the lessons he's learned so far and add a couple onto the list live. Matt believes in the "wax on, wax off" method for our staff. We've all been through it and Keegan was no different. He preaches it's the people that love you the most in life that are willing to critique you. The lesson we uncovered right here in this episode was the difference between saying "I have to" or "I get to". Saying, "I get to" is a positive way to frame a task. You can look at anything with a mindset of I get to, and realize everything you are blessed with. We're so excited to have Keegan in the Dearing Acting Studio fam!

Timeline 7:47 When he tested positive 11:23 Releasing stress for pro athletes 16:40 Advice to young players 23:37 Talking to young players about money 29:15 Playing for Jaap Stam 38:23 Getting dropped to the youth teams 44:22 If he could change football Today we're joined by Reading midfielder Joey Van Den Berg. Joey is currently on loan at NEC Nimegen in the Dutch Second division and has quite the story to tell. In his native Netherlands, he is akin to Sergio Ramos as he has the record for most red cards. He currently has 12 in his career including 2 this season. When Joey was 22 he was released by Heerenveen due to issues with alcohol and drugs and was without a club. While he was out of a game he worked in a pizzeria, he washed cars and worked in construction among his many jobs. Now, a little more than a decade later he's made more than 250 appearances and scored 25 goals in the Dutch Eredivisie and English Championship. So in this episode, we'll dive into his remarkable story and discuss how young players cope with stress, pressure and instincts to be a normal teenager. And if you find youth development interesting, on Thursday, May 2nd the next episode of the Training Ground Guru podcast is coming out. In that episode, Simon Austin and I got an all-access pass to Burnley's academy. You won't want to miss that. Over the last year, I've had the pleasure of getting to know a ton of new people while apart of the RFS Mastermind. Joey Percia, is one of the awesome guys I've gotten to know over that time. When Joey graduated High School, if he was lucky and found himself soaking wet, he weighed around 130-pounds. He even broke a box jump record at ‘The Strongest Powerlifting Gym’ in the World, oh and that feat only made it easier for him to dunk a basketball, even if he's only 5’9". Jumping high is something Joey does well. But he's also a beast when it comes to lifting heavy ass weight. Since he started training he's been able to deadlift 3.2x his bodyweight. Setting his PR at 585lbs. He's also squatted over 500lbs and set a NJ State Bench Press record. Needless to say, Joey is strong. He's also a great writer and coach.
