Jaquez Yant finally got his first action of season with 13 carries for 127yards. At the half way point in the season Nebraska finds its self at 3-3 with a undefeated top 10 Michigan team coming to town. Mel Tucker and the "Flea Flicker" got the Huskers again, as Nebraska falls to Michigan State in overtime 23-20. It was the same old song and dance for the Huskers, with the defense playing lights out, and special teams and o-line being an absolute embarrassment.
