A house build at nearly 11,000 feet is a mountain of problems all by itself. Now add grief, a scary medical diagnosis, and the emotional residue of a public campaign that didn't end the way we hoped, and you get the real story behind Mark vs the Mountain going national. We share the announcement that our new season premieres on Pure Flix first, then later on Great American Family, and explain why this isn't just another home building series. Yes, we're back in Angel Fire, New Mexico chasing views, battling weather delays, and trying to finish a stunning mountain home. But the network challenged us to show what happens when life hits hard, and how faith-based family values shape the way we respond when the plan changes. We also talk openly about Mark's ascending aortic aneurysm and what it means to face a heart health condition while cameras are rolling. Then we pivot into the headlines that made our blood pressure rise: New Mexico's Kids Count ranking, the state's last-place education outcomes, and the frustrating habit of turning brutal child well-being data into PR spin. We debate accountability, literacy, early-grade reading interventions, tutoring, and why school choice keeps coming up when families are desperate for better options. We also hit inflation and the CPI, what it's doing to working families, and why slow vote counting in races like the LA mayor contest damages trust even when people argue it's “normal.”If you care about New Mexico, education policy, election confidence, or faith-driven storytelling that doesn't feel fake, hit play. Talk Tuesday. And 2 Gun introduces a new show
And the tradition continues! Yes, each and every quarter the bakabois grab their favorite bubbly drink, sit in their orthopedic chairs (cause they're old and their backs hurt), and scroll through livechart.me to preview the upcoming season of anime. And, like always, they confident proclaim that they will watch 10, 15, 20 anime that are set to air, only to forget half of them and fall behind on their watchlist instantly. But, nevertheless, Frankfurtter and MagicallyAverage still perform this ritual of previewing and rating the upcoming anime season. While the Summer season is just like any other, let me tell you... It. Is. STACKED! This could very well be one of the best single seasons of anime to air in quite some time. But which series make the watchlist and which are avoided like a bad sunburn? Send a question for 'Ask Megan'Hey, Podcasters! Most podcast advice focuses on how to keep your show going. But this week on Buzzcast, we explored a different question: When is it time to start something new? We're not talking about quitting podcasting. In fact, quite the opposite. We're talking about when a podcast naturally reaches the end of its run. Sometimes it's because your interests evolve. And other times, you've learned so much from your first show that you're ready to apply those skills to a new idea. One of my favorite takeaways from the episode was that some projects end like a funeral, but others can end like a graduation! You finished what you set out to do, and now you're excited about what's next.In this episode, the Buzzcast team talks about several reasons podcasters start a second show:• They've discovered a new topic they're genuinely excited about • They've outgrown the original format • They want to experiment with a different style of podcasting • They have uncovered a new idea while creating their current showThe good news is that none of the work from your first podcast goes away! You still have the skills, the experience, the confidence behind the mic, and everything you've learned along the way.So if you've been kicking around a new podcast idea or wondering whether it's time to explore something different, I think you'll really enjoy this conversation! Listen to BuzzcastEpisode of the Week The past few weeks, you've heard me talk a lot about video podcasting. It's an exciting time to be thinking about video, but it can also be confusing to know if it's the right fit for your podcast. In this episode of Insider Secrets to a Top 100 Podcast with Courtney Elmer, Alban and Courtney discuss how to know if video is worth adding to your show and what it takes to do it well! Listen to EpisodeHave a question for Megan? Send a text! That's all for this week! Thanks for listening & keep podcasting!
Bonus eps are when we go deep on a cultural phenomenon, text, or celebrity that's overwhelming our feeds, charming our pants off, or sparking general bewilderment. Off Campus does all three! It's a new, eight-episode hockey romance now airing on Amazon and it manages to be intermittently corny, incredibly hot, ostensibly very straight (but arguably made for the bisexual-gaze) and... does a pretty excellent job of handling of storylines involving sexual assault and physical abuse?? A wonder, truly. For the first half of the episode, we talk about the series in general: what it's about, where it's set, its worldview and understanding of romance. We talk about the basics of the plot but avoid major spoilers. Then we get detailed. We talk about bra fit. We talk about specific needle drops. We discuss what makes that scene so hot — and the way the show handles trauma and consent. If you haven't watched, I hope this ep compels you to give Off Campus a try... and if you have, WE HAVE SO MUCH MORE TO TALK ABOUT. Over a decade after Rove Live went off the air, comedian Rove McManus is making his big return to TV. His new show, Celebrity Escape, will be available on Three and Three Now from Tuesday, and it's set to showcase comedians from both sides of the Tasman. McManus says he was expecting someone to step in and fill his shoes after he left for America after the end of Rove Live, but so far, no one's been able to. "Obviously, other shows did come through, but they didn't last or have the same impact - and then, of course, as the nature of the way people watch things changed - that probably has an effect on it as well." Mocha tried to sound tough to start the show but got roasted for being completely non-threatening, even when he escalated things, while Maurie hit the streets asking people what petty items they'd fight for in a divorce. Roz became fully obsessed with a ridiculous mayo-on-a-car viral video, which somehow led into a wildly detailed (and very revealing) conversation about people's bathroom habits that nobody asked for. Plus, payday excitement had everyone planning their splurges, Chloe recapped the Bruno Mars show, and the crew caught up with Tom Green and the team behind Nirvanna the Band as the chaos just kept rolling.

With this, we have a new show every Sunday in the early afternoon PST LIVE on Rumble & YouTube. WAM News Live! While we of course do the 1.5 plus hour show live, the only way to see the replay of it is on Patreon and SubscribeStar for those who pledge $5 a month or more. We seriously need that support to keep doing what we're doing and with that people get an abundance of content that they wouldn't see regularly on WAM for free. In this video, we show examples of the algorithmic suppression we're facing and talk about some upcoming moves we're planning on making to push past the suppression. We are just messengers and without the support of those we deliver those messages to, the technocratic beast system that survives on these major platforms will simply hit a button and make sure we're never see again. This suppression is much like what we see coming in the future with the digital ID system and social credit. It will eventually affect everyone watching when it comes to what food they want to eat, access to their money, travel, etc. When we're lucky to get 1k views with 150k subscribers or we get one or two likes on an X post after 24 hours despite having 35k followers, that should be a big red flag to everyone. X has already acknowledged they don't want us to be seen according to the leaked algorithm late last year. People come to us daily saying they keep getting unsubscribed on YouTube or unfollowed on X. If people click that they want to see something, they should be able to see those things, but the algorithm thinks it knows better than you and will dictate what you can or cannot see. Even though it's Memorial Day, we are here with a new episode! Bobby shares the dilemma he has with saying 'Happy Memorial Day'. A caller who also won big on The Price Is Right kicks has some words for Lunchbox as he tries to unload his home gym equipment. The show dives into a “what is going on with my money?” mystery after scam texts hit multiple show members and Bobby raises questions about false claims in podcasting and the meaning of “allegedly.” Then things get weird with a Gwen Shamblin deep dive, plus a debate on the best professions to have as friends. We played the Top 10 Pop Culture Couples game.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
A voicemail called out Lunchbox on him not paying money for the money that was stolen out of his Robinhood account. It leads us to get into a discussion of why everyone is now going to sue other members of the show. Bobby has a list of cars that scream a guy peaked in high school and we get into a discussion of Scuba Steve’s big truck. Amy shares what award her son received!See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
Today Matt says he's into one of his wife's shows. Then we catch up on whether or not we have added some edge to our show. Then Bob regrets doing a Birthday show.Support the show: https://www.klbjfm.com/mattandbobfm/See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

If you've been treating your next decision like THE decision, well... A lot of anxiety comes from believing your future hinges on getting the next move exactly right. However, there's a particular kind of pressure that shows up when you want your work to mean something, but you also don't want to blow up your finances, your nervous system, or your sense of self in the process. Today we explore how “one shot” thinking makes people more perfectionistic, more anxious, and often worse at taking risks, then offers a saner alternative: build a life that lets you keep trying. We get into purpose, career change, money, self-worth, and the quiet relief of realising you do not need a flawless master plan to move forward. Sometimes the healthiest thing you can do is stop demanding certainty and start creating conditions where curiosity can actually breathe. Ask whether you need the perfect path, or just the next honest experiment. Reduce pressure by making change more sustainable, not more dramatic. Treat failure as information, not a verdict on your future. Press play if you need a steadier way to move without pretending you're fearless. Live TV Chaos, Channel 10's Regional Retreat, Karl & Eddie's New Show, Fair Dealing Explained + Logies Salute & Slap - Live TV chaos — Sky News UK and CBS News meltdowns dissected - Channel 10 dropped in three regional markets — WIN Network exits - Karl Stefanovic and Eddie McGuire launch The Long Weekend video podcast - Meta book piracy lawsuit — fair dealing law explained for Australian media - Salute & Slap — BAFTAs vs the Logies, and why the industry needs to back itself Rob McKnight, television and radio producer and presenter with over 30 years' experience, breaks down the biggest stories in Australian and international media from his garage on the Gold Coast. This week, live TV chaos strikes on two continents — Sky News UK gets tangled in its own wiring during a major political moment, while CBS News anchor Tony Dokoupil is stranded in Taiwan due to a visa issue as Trump meets Xi in Beijing, and a medical emergency unfolds live on air. Rob unpacks what went wrong and what the control room should have done. WIN Network has confirmed it will drop Channel 10 services in the Riverland, Mount Gambier and Griffith markets from June 30, following a similar exit from Mildura in 2024. Rob says this is just the beginning — and the numbers tell a grim story for Network 10's parent, Paramount. Karl Stefanovic and Eddie McGuire are teaming up for a new Friday night video podcast called The Long Weekend, broadcasting across the Gold Radio Network and streaming on iHeart, 9Now and Stan. Rob explains why this is a smart play, and why Jam TV deserves more credit than it gets. Five major publishers have alleged Mark Zuckerberg personally ordered Meta to pirate millions of books to train its AI system, Llama. Rob takes a deep dive into fair dealing under Australian law — what it covers, what it doesn't, and why Nine's use of a Daily Mail photo during the Bondi Beach shootings is actually legal, even if it feels wrong. Sam Pang won't be hosting the Logies this year. Rob salutes Australian production teams after watching the BAFTAs, and delivers a pointed slap to anyone at the Logies who uses the stage to talk the television industry down.

Monday-morning Bravo news is in! Sierra Miller landing Love Island USA: After Sun (and joking she's DWTS-bound), the Jen Fessler/West rumor fallout punctuated by mysterious cartwheel emojis, and a flood of renewals/premiere dates that has them feeling schedule-whiplash. They spiral (comedically) over Madison LeCroy and Heather Gay's daughter Georgia popping up in “Micro Dramas,” side-eye a new Vanderpump Las Vegas series with Villa-burned skepticism, and pitch “Secret Lives: Texas Wives” as Dallas leftovers meets trad-wife Yellowstone energy. Then they jump into Rhode Island eps 6–7 with strong takes: Kelsey's breakup feels strategic-but-smart, Jo Ellen's childhood story is gutting, the Newport “cast trip” is hilariously local, the masquerade masks and lash flattening are a mess, Ashley's constant crying reads like anxiety/hormones, and Rula's “mystery virus + rescue” edit screams convenient cover-up—especially once the alleged barista tea and affair receipts hit.BORN SHOES Go to https://www.bornshoes.com/ today for a 15% discount plus free ground shipping on all full-price shoes when you use my promo code DRAMA for 15% off and free shipping available exclusively to our listeners for just a limited timeLUMI GUMMIES Lumi Gummies are available nationwide! Most self-improvement assumes the problem lives inside you. But what if you've been looking in the wrong place? There's something worth sitting with in the idea that your physical surroundings are already making decisions about how you think — before you've consciously made any. The shape of a room. Whether your body is moving or still. How many open tabs are silently competing for your attention. These aren't peripheral details. They're the architecture of your mental life. This episode revisits three environmental psychology findings that quietly reframe what it actually means to improve yourself — not as a project of relentless internal effort, but as something closer to intelligent design. You are, in a real sense, the product of your environment. The question is whether you're designing it or just inheriting it. The Cathedral Effect — how space shapes cognition before thought begins The Movement Effect — motion as a psychological state, not just a physical one Intentional Laptopping — digital minimalism as a form of cognitive self-respect Treating yourself like someone whose environment matters might be the most honest act of self-improvement you haven't tried yet.
