This one is a doozy for me as It brought to my mind the need to do better as a parent, who is also the priest of my house. I was reminded that just because I have my salvation, does not mean that my children have a relationship with Christ. I literally had to reflect on what I am doing as a father, as a mentor, as the example of a godly man in my house. I am not doing what I could be doing. You can be broken for so long, but the Lord will always repair a faithful heart. We were never meant to be apart from God. Our brokenness can always come to a point of rejoicing. The burden of life does not have to be equal to that of the world. To bear the burden of the world's version of life makes life heavy. The vices, the unforgiveness, the bitterness, the trauma the pain. IT IS CALLED BAGGAGE FOR A REASOIN! Yet, to take God's Yoke, to go through His version of Life is a whole different weight. The situations and clashes will be the same, but the weight of the burden is Different! YOU DON'T HAVE TO CARRY THE WEIGHT! God will create a change / healing where He deems is best. That Healing is not about the benefit of being released from the trauma. It is about giving you back the strength to fight against the flesh and walk with God with your head up high! Despite all that goes on in life, God can change and overpower every norm known to man as He is above and outside of the limitations of time, space and mass. He can heal a baron womb, he can restore a destroyed relationship. He will save even the most Lost and strayed person. He can take from the hands of death and hades and bring life back. I have been contemplating this for a long time, are the blessings that we are given only one time things? It has been a question I have asked my whole life, and I finally got my answer. The blessings and promises that God gives and makes to us are not one time things. These blessing continue on to the point that God's graciousness and generosity towards us is eternal. He will constantly provide for us more than what he does for the animals who live on the earth. Yet, despite this we have been redeemed. We are able to worship freely! How's it going folks! In this episode we are going over Haman building his own demise. The passage for this episode is brought to you by Esther 5: 9-14. AND MAN!!!!!!!!!!! GOD IS GOOD! I know I have been lacking in updating the podcast but GOD is working. I am learning that God is working on me first in regards to when I share these messages. I have to be dealt with before I am able to share what God wants me to share with you. I need to be held accountable for what I am to share with you. Yet, this episode has been heavy. Not to get to much into it but We start off with Haman feeling INDIGNATION for Mordecai. Inclusively, if we will be honest, the feeling is due to God's Spirit in Mordecai and what comes from that. The passage has also been a reminder that we must always be vigilant because the devil wants us to join him when he is cast into hell (his Prison, not where he reigns), yet God calls us to be aware and polish our armor so that we can withstand his attacks. With this in mind, we must not get ahead of ourselves and think that just because we have found salvation in Jesus Christ that we will not be attacked. We must be vigilant in Prayer, in keeping scripture in our hearts and being held accountable to Christ so that we may not fall. We are diving into Esther 5: 1-8. There is so much that we don't do in regards to our relationship with God. It's a 2 way street. Just as he prepares to make us a person pleasing to him, we must do some work in the relationship we have with him like we would with our spouse or loved one. Much like how Esther prepared a banquet for King Ahasuerus, we prepare a meal for God. The questions that arise from this is: What Type of banquet are you going to prepare? How is it going? You ever had a moment where God changes things up on you? You had something prepared or in mind and God said, "no, no, no, I need you to go through this and then speak on it." Well that's how we got to this episode. Esther 4: 15-17. In this passage, Esther had to make the decision of what to do after being rebuked by Mordecai. Her decision had great impact on what was to come for the people in Shushan. Likewise, our answer to rebuke, which there are really only 2 options will be key to determine what happens next. The first, which we all hate, is to accept it, submit ourselves to God, pray, fast, and humble ourselves. The second and most common, is to get defensive, continue to harm those around you, continue to hold onto the very things that are causing more harm but seems the easiest. Yet, you can't be afraid of the "king" not raising his scepter to you, but God is stronger and will make sure that the scepter is raised. but I'm a stop here so you will actually have something to listen to lol. I admire the folks that have no cares when I am reminded of how much effort the devil has put into stopping believers in Christ and God's people. Mostly because they live so blissfully, and seem to care about everything but what is right before God's eyes. Their ability to do that scares me into admiration because they diligently fall in line, while we as Believers tend to have a hard time falling in line with our love for Christ and our desire to do right by him. This is what we dive into this episode when reading in Esther 3: 7-15. Haman is preparing the way for the destruction of the Jewish people. Waving around money and prestige the those who do so. He makes a decree to allow all of God's people to be plundered (robbed) and murdered. Sending out written word to have the people within Ahasuerus' kingdom do the work instead of doing it himself. Much like how the devil has gotten people to align themselves with him and do the work of attempting to destroy us as believers. Yet, Above All Things, GOD IS IN CONTROL AND HIS PROTECTION IS INSURMOUNTABLE! We have been given much in regards to the weapons to fight against the attacks of the devil and most of it involves being firm in what we believe and not having half hearted knowledge. Study for yourselves, make sure the teachings (including my own) are matching up with the bible. Don't be led astray by false teachers, so that when persecution comes (even in the form of just being told that God doesn't exist) you can stand firm and be knowledgeable of your beliefs and of God's kingdom. Your goal as a person is to make sure you stand firm in your beliefs and for your beliefs. By doing so we help pave the way for future generations. We achieve this by writing God's word on the tablet that is our heart, by renewing our minds and mindset through his word and by rooting ourselves in the way a Tree does in the Ground. I know this sounds super churchy, but it is the truth. We are not to be like the society that has deemed our faith to be wrong. We do not hold the same belief in all honesty since the world seeks our failure. We set the tone for the future generations and even for the generation that we walk with now. If we allow the devil to destroy the lineage that has been blessed through our repentance and salvation, we allow him to destroy the Hope that comes with it. We must stand tall and have our words ring true when we are being setup to fail by the devil and his entourage, BUT GOD's protection is insurmountable (overwhelming and unbeatable) as long as we hold His words in our heart and keep our faith. Today's episode is a 3 part series. I had another plan or message prepared and God changed the direction he wanted to be shared. Keeping privacy isn't always a bad thing. There are things God wants done in private. In the same way, when evangelizing and going into the enemy's camp to bring souls to Christ can be done sometimes not by screaming and hollering, but through quiet and action, demonstrating his Love, purpose and desires. This is based on Esther 2: 19-23, AAAANNNDDDD it's only the 1st point that God wanted to make through this passage. I pray this finds you well and speaks to you who are listening.
