'Proclaim Liberty' with Clint Armitage (Christian Liberty, Motivation & Leadership)
Check out our RCH Merch! https://radiocoffeehouse.com/collections/merch ------ In this engaging episode of the Radio Coffee House, Clint Armitage broadcasts from Colton, California, diving into the intriguing topic of arrogance versus confidence. With a focus on the charismatic figure of Deion Sanders, also known as Coach Prime, Clint explores whether Sanders' bold demeanor stems from confidence or arrogance. Through a recent clip from the Tamron Hall Show, listeners will hear Sanders discuss his expectations for success and the importance of unwavering self-belief. Clint notes how Sander's confidence can sometimes be perceived as arrogance. Sanders adds that this often happens particularly when it challenges the insecurities of others. However, Clint argues that what shines through in Sanders' words is a profound sense of "Godfidence," a confidence rooted in faith and a strong connection to God. Transitioning from the sports world to biblical wisdom, Clint introduces the story of King Jehoshaphat from 2 Chronicles 20, who faced a vast army threatening his people. Jehoshaphat's response to fear—turning to God in prayer—serves as a powerful reminder of where true confidence lies. Clint emphasizes that while we may experience fear and anxiety, it's essential to seek God's guidance and trust in His plans. As the episode unfolds, Clint encourages listeners to embrace their own Godfidence, reminding us that God calls us to show up for the battles in our lives, even when the odds seem stacked against us. Tune in to discover how to cultivate a mindset of confidence rooted in faith, allowing you to navigate life's challenges with grace and strength. -----

What is beauty? This is the question O'Maria Akpati answers in this week's Advent Podcast. As a former celebrity makeup artist, O'Maria discovered that beauty had nothing to do with the exterior. She found that when celebrities used makeup to become more beautiful, their self-esteem decreased. O'Maria left her job and discerned becoming a Discalced Carmelite for two years. During this time, God revealed to O'Maria her personal mission: to help women become “Godfident” in their God-given beauty. Listen to O'Maria's personal story of conversion--and discover how God is calling you to embrace your God-given beauty, too!
Confidence, Godfidence, self-esteem, all that jazz. It's not just about mantras and believing in yourself, it's about believing in the One who saved you and made you. Something I have learned is to not allow myself to be intimidated; I hope you learn something from this episode too.

Have you ever had feelings of insecurity and inadequacy? Ever felt like an imposter when surrounded by big names? Friends, today I get real about feeling like a fraud. That's why I delve into the concept of imposter syndrome and that nagging inner voice that questions our abilities and worthiness. Some of the insights that I want you to walk away with are how to: Overcome insecurity and use it as a tool for growth Recognize your inner saboteur and challenge its negativity Use feelings of insecurity as a springboard for action, not self-deprecation I've had to battle with self-doubt and the voices in my head that whisper I'm not good enough. I want us to use self-doubt as a tool for growth, not a weapon of self-destruction. Ask yourself ‘If not me, then who? If not now, then when?' Unleash your Godfidence to find your voice; The world needs your message! Let us know how you are taming your inner saboteur by tagging me @biancaolthoff. XO, B RESOURCES/LINKS Quote The beauty of that voice of insecurity is an earnest recognition that I'm not everything. But the dark side of that voice is when we let that voice convince us that we're nothing. Takeaways Imposter syndrome is common and can make us doubt our abilities and feel like frauds. The voice of insecurity can be used as a tool for self-reflection and growth. Humility is a choice and allows us to recognize our limitations while still using our gifts. We should remind ourselves that we are called to fulfill a purpose and use our voices. Asking 'If not me, then who? If not now, then when?' can help overcome self-doubt and take action. ⋇ Convoy of Hope - Empowering Women and Girls Together Donate here ⋇ Bianca's new book Grit Don't Quit: Developing Resilience And Faith When Giving Up Isn't An Option ⋇ The Grit Don't Quit Bible Study is now available. ⋇ So grateful to our sponsors! In this episode of the Connect Podcast, Cole Phillips discusses the importance of standing firm in faith and overcoming obstacles with courage and resilience. He explores the story of Paul in Acts 22-23, highlighting how Paul's Roman citizenship and his trust in God's plan helped him navigate intense pressure and opposition. Phillips emphasizes the need for confidence in God, trust in His control, and courage in the face of challenges. He also shares the example of Ken Wales, a film producer who stood firm in his faith and made the right choices despite facing threats to his career. The episode concludes with a reminder that standing for Jesus has a purpose and is never wasted when we trust in Him. Keywords faith, standing firm, obstacles, courage, resilience, Paul, Acts 22-23, Roman citizenship, trust in God, confidence, trust in His control, Ken Wales, film producer, right choices, purpose Takeaways Confidence in God, or 'Godfidence,' is a choice we make to trust in His strength and power, even in the face of our own weaknesses. Trusting in God's control and plan gives us the courage to stand firm in our faith and overcome obstacles. We can learn from the example of Paul, who faced intense pressure and opposition but remained committed to being a witness for Jesus. Like Ken Wales, we should be willing to make the right choices and stand firm in our faith, even if it means facing threats or challenges to our careers or reputation. Welcome back to the podcast Baddie! Today on the podcast we are talking all about GODFIDENCE! This week's episode was highly inspired by a question that a family member asked me this weekend which was- "Steph, how did you stop being broke? How did you stop living pay check to pay check and being in survival mode around money?" I stayed quiet for a moment because this was a question I used to ask around when I was financially out of alignment. So I wanted to be sure I actually gave it some thought and after I did, the answer that came to me was GODFIDENCE. I embodied Godfidence . Godfidence: knowing with out of shadow of a doubt that everything is working out in your favor and trusting the process. Having absolute FAITH and CERTAINTY that everything that is happening to you, is happening FOR YOU. So that you can learn the lessons you are meant to learn and be able to handle the next level of success. Now I know what your thinking... "This is a lot easier said than done!" Well this is exactly why I am dropping this weeks episode. Tune in to hear all about it.
