This Committee came to the recommendation that prenatal genetic screening should be offered to all pregnant people, regardless of maternal age or any other risk assessments. ACOG has sent letters to many national payers, including UnitedHealthCare, Aetna, Centene, Cigna and Humana plans, encouraging them to cover NIPT.
