The underlying science has not moved. There is no link between vaccines and autism. That question has been studied for decades across millions of children in multiple countries, and autism has a substantial genetic component. Spreading the schedule out is not a neutral change. It means more office visits, more billing, more needle sticks per child, and protection arriving later than it should, against diseases that are already returning. The country has seen its worst measles outbreaks in decades, concentrated in undervaccinated communities. NOTUS found that RFK Jr.'s 72 page MAHA report on chronic childhood disease cited at least seven studies that do not exist, alongside broken links and misstated findings. Epidemiologist Katherine Keyes was among the named authors who said they never wrote the papers attributed to them. Since January 2025, the United States has confirmed more than 3,000 cases of measles across multiple states - with South Carolina reporting nearly 1000 cases in just the first two months of 2026.
