As spring training comes to a close, 2024 was probably the best spring training ever. Here is a recap of the good, the bad and the ugly. 

In one of his super rare public appearance, former Cubs great Shawon Dunston came to Club 400 to celebrate the 50th birthday of Mr. Club 400. Dunston had an amazing Q&A, hosted by Justin Roman, host of the MVP Game and The ROMANce Podcast, which you can here for the first time since September. Also, fun fact, the original Shawon-O-Meter was at the party as well!

"Goin' to Kansas City Kansas City, here I come Goin' to Kansas City Kansas City, here I come They got some crazy little women there And I'm gonna get me one" It has been a while since we had a player on and on the podcast and we have former Cubs centerfielder Brian McRae braking down the upcoming Club 400 trip to Kansas City in July to see the Cubs for probably the last series at Kaufman Stadium.

After staying away from Chicago for a multitude of reasons, Sammy Sosa has announced his return to the Windy City to sign autographs at the Chicago Sports Spectacular in mid-March. We also did a recap of the best convention in sports, the 2024 Chicago Cubs Convention.

One weekend, three places at once...we had people at a comedy show with Joe Kilgallon, we attended Joey's Song and raised $2,600 for the Rose Family and hosted Dorothy's Last Call - a tribute to one of the greatest Cubs fans ever - Dorothy Farrell.

As discussed in this podcast, the Club 400 Christmas Party is the social event of the year. This year the recipient of the 2023 Christmas Surprise was Club 400 OG Ruth Pea. The Palatine Pounder Mike Tauchman, Cubs Hitting Coach John Malee, Former Cubs Centerfielder Brian McRae, Wayne and Kathleen Messmer, John Benedeck, Danny Rockett and many others graced the halls of Club 400!

Club 400, where Cubs Fans and Music collide...from Rapper Stu McVicar's "Hit the Shit and Get the F#$K Out" to 80's Rap to Morgan Wallen to the Rolling Stones, the tune and Old Style are always flowing at Club 400. Our next big event to 100% benefit the Rose family is on January 6th - Battle of the Bands in Madison, Wisconsin. 

A special holiday treat with some major announcements, this one will be good before, during or after the turkey.

Ironman? What does this mean? Are the Cubs signing Tony Stark? Is Ozzy Osbourne playing at the next Club 400 event? Will the hosts Stu and William be participating in some sort of marathon? You will just need to tune in to find out what this means. #ironman

One of the greatest Cubs to ever wear the pinstripes, definitely one of the most exciting, Andre Dawson was a guest at Club 400 Wrigleyville and he agreed to appear on our show. Andre was in town to promote the Andre Dawson Whiskey from Cooperstown Distillery. Check out the podcast to hear some classic Hawk stories from the glory days!

The beer, the band and the meter. To celebrate Mr. Stu McVicar's 50th birthday, the one and only Shawon Dunston graced Club 400 and along with many others including Modern Day Romeos help create one of the best memories ever. This show celebrates epic moments. The first epic moment is sharing the results of the recent Joe Maddon party that benefitted Illinois Special Olympics. The next epic moment is host Stu McVicar's last night in his 40's (which makes him old). The next epic moment is a future party (tomorrow) with Shawon Dunston and the final epic moment is Lisa McVicar's debut on the podcast.

Club 400 OG's were special guests on the show...Sara and Brian Flanigan. So you think you know the Flanigan's, we got down and dirty with them including learning the origin of The Costanza Pose. After a couple of months hiatus, we have completed our next show. Some great topics including an ode to Mia (William's wife), more info about the upcoming main event of the summer, an Iowa road trip to rep the sales king and so much more.

Our guest today is the Chicago Cubs All-Star pitcher, Justin Steele. Justin became a Club 400 Favorite after the party with him earlier this year. He has been one of the main reasons the Cubs have been so fun to watch in 2023. Let's go get that Cy Young Award Justin!

To kickoff the Inaugural Club 400 Palooza, The Club 400 Podcast was Live overlooking Wrigley Field on Waveland. The entire day and night was amazing (we will discuss in a future podcast), but this podcast was recorded live at the event. The podcast featured Danny Rockett and Crawly. Danny played several songs - including the first live version of "The Club 400 Podcast Theme Song" and several other hits and Crawly was our "man on the street" engaging the crowd. Enjoy!

It has been way too long since our last podcast, but the Club 400 movement is going bananas...Cub Fans Helping Cubs Fans. We had a huge summer party, a once in a lifetime day at the park and an upcoming Club 400 Polooza! There is a secret password in this show, so don't quit early or skip around.

It is Club 400 Event week as Marcus Stroman is the latest Chicago Cub to visit the famed Lake in the Hills. On this episode, we go behind the curtain to discuss what goes into pulling off the social event of the summer. 

What a first week of the season! There was action everywhere. Opening Day was followed by a trip to South Bend and a whole bunch of other stuff in between.

The universe feels a little bit better as the MLB owners and players have signed a new Collective Bargaining Agreement. The Hot Stove is on fire and so is Club 400. Another night and another epic party at Club 400. This one had 2016 World Champions Matt Szcuzr and John Mallee. Also, the Club 400 Podcast welcomed Nicole Geu back on the mic - she always makes us look better.
