NY Yankees vs. Pittsburgh Pirates MLB Pick Prediction by Tony T. Yankees at Pirates 4PM ET—Marcus Stroman will start for New York. Stroman appeared in 30 games in 2024 dealing with an ERA of 4.31 with WHIP of 1.47. The veteran struck out 16.7% with 8.9% walks. Ground balls sat at 49.2% with 1.11 home runs per nine innings. In his first start he allowed three earned runs with three strikeouts in 4 2/3rd innings at home to the Brewers. Bailey Falter to start for Pittsburgh. Falter made 28 starts in 2024 producing an ERA of 3.00 with WHIP of 1.17. The righty fanned 16.5% with 7.6% walks. Grounders were 36.2% with 1.07 home runs per nine innings.
