While many Bigfoot sightings can make for very compelling witness testimony, there are always alleged encounters with the creature that are much less so. Sometimes the Sasquatch is seen at a great distance, sometimes it closely resembles a bear, and on rare occasions, a case can be made for it simply being a man in a gorilla suit. For our 200th episode, I'm examining some Bigfoot sightings that probably weren't actually Bigfoot. I look at a collection of stories from Maine, West Virginia, New Jersey, Georgia, Missouri, and Ohio, where the creature that was seen doesn't really resemble the Bigfoot we all know and love. On Christmas Eve 2002, while stopping for sandwiches at a Port Allen shopping plaza en route to visit her incarcerated husband, the 65-year-old vanished in broad daylight—leaving behind spilled food, broken nails, and a community in shock amongst the killings of many south Louisiana women at the hands of a now confirmed serial killer.Derrick Todd Lee (DTL) terrorized the Baton Rouge and Lafayette Louisiana. Parkinson and his book, Heart of American Darkness, which investigates the complex relationship between colonials and Native Americans in 1775. The discussion focuses on a famous document known as "Logan's Lament," published in the Pennsylvania Journal, in which a Mingo leader named Loganblames a "Colonel Cresap" for the cold-blooded murder of his family. Parkinson clarifies that this was a case of mistaken identity; Logan confused the father, Thomas Cresap, with the son, Michael, though neither was the actual killer. NUMBER 1

She'll be interviewing him about his life as an art broker and writing his memoir, but she only has until Christmas Eve to gather everything she needs.One night, while working late, Sabrina craves a sandwich. She calls down to the bar, runs in, and starts eating the first sandwich she sees — which turns out to belong to Ian, who's sitting nearby. He doesn't mind at all and clearly wants to keep talking, but the bar is closing. She keeps her suspicions to herself as they continue spending time together and sparks fly.Ian suddenly has to leave town to make sure Lord Braxton doesn't marry a woman he just met. You're never too old for love. They rush down to see each other and it's wonderful. And Sabrina rushes to find Ian. But she's too late. He's already left for the airport. Except, HE NEVER LEFT! He says he's fallen for her and then he gives her the jewlery box...it's not an engagement ring at all.
