The hope of the Gospel propels us to consider whether or not the promises of the Kingdom of Heaven are real. If not, do whatever you want to do. In the famous chapter on faith, we find a succinct definition, an honor roll of faithful men and women in the old testament, and are told just how important faith is to God. But there is a deeper theme here of finding our way home that echoes one of the central stories of both Old and New Testaments. From the Garden of Eden, to the New Jerusalem, the journey to a home where we can be with God is our journey. Jesus Christ, as the anchor of our soul to God, will come again to save those who eagerly await the coming of our great high priest. 耶穌基督是我們靈魂倚靠神的錨，將會再次降臨，拯救那些熱切等待我們偉大大祭司降臨的人。
Here Hebrews expands on the idea of Jesus as the new and greater high priest who brings a better covenant. In explaining this, Hebrews speaks to the priesthood and the temple as a "shadow and copy". This is important for us as we come to understand that the new covenant completes what was pointed toward in the old. 希伯來書在這一章更進一步地說明，為什麼耶穌是更偉大的大祭司，以及他所帶來更好的約。並說明舊約的祭司職分及聖所其實只是縮影和複製。這對我們來說很重要，因為我們開始明白新約完成了舊約所說的。
