Leah's husband was killed in June 2018 by a distracted driver while driving his tractor. The recovery process has been rough, especially with and for the kids. Throughout the process, they would have a single fly visit them, just often enough to notice. This was no normal fly as it could be handed from person to person. The fly became a symbol of strength for the family which ultimately led to In The Blink of a Fly was born. What started out as a Facebook page for Leah to share her struggles, successes and to help prevent something like this happening to others.
