Welcome to Geek Fights, I’m Mike Ortiz bringing you some exciting news,  Were back! Yes you heard it Geek Fghts is back, but with a twist. We are now part of the Freebooters Network!. The Freebooters Network is a umbrella for a bunch of geek themed podcast, We are happy to add out unique voice to this already fantastic chorus of geeky love. The freebooters network is a single feed that contains our show, plus other shows like herman and sidekick boy, Anonymous Tabletop and Exploding Dice Radio, both gaming podcast, Nerfherders an general geekery podcast and more!  Now that means the new episodes won’t be a part of this feed. This feed will stay where it is, continuing to bring you what we are now calling, Geek Fights The Original Series, but we really want to to go ahead and subscribe to the Freebooters Network and try the rest of the awesome podcasts we bring you every month. We end the year with Damon Shaw, Mike Ortiz and Jason Thompson, stepping up and sharing their views that seem to run contrary to what they are seeing online. specifically the negativity aimed at DC Comics. Unlike the many blogs, websites and podcasts that have been critical of DC, We actually like what they are doing and support many of the choices they have made. We also think there are a lot of people who agree and want to give voice to the other side of the argument.

The Unnamed Superman Podcast returns! As we await this weeks release of the Man of Steel, we present Damon Shaw, Chris Mitchell and Mike Ortiz doing a commentary for the Director's Cut of Superman the Movie. There's some audio echo on damon and Chris, but Mike sounds fine and he does a lot of the talking. He really dig the movie too much and knows way too much about it!

Allen & Jerad Formby haven't seen Star Trek: Into Darkness yes, but they still talk about it. There's no spoilers (because they haven't seen it) and they don't spend the whole time talking about it (because they haven't seen it), but they spend a good deal of time talking about Star Trek 2009, Star Trek in general, hopes for the new movie, fears about the new move, and some thoughts on the next one.

On the off chance, that the idea of listening to us get together in one room and get drunk while we record still appeals to you after the previous two C2E2 shows, Damon Shaw, Mike Ortiz, Christy Wooke, Jerad Formby, Karin, Dave Gill, Tess Craft, Kathy Lehman, (spoiler alert) Anne Geyer, Allen (via Skype) and the incredibly handsome Matt do their best to make sure you never do again. Its less hate crime-y than before, but also somehow less coherent.
