New Series - As a busy mom and business owner I don’t just find time to learn Hawaiian at home, I have to make it. I’m upping my efforts as I’ve realized that Pili is getting to the point of where what I know is not enough. I’ve set a new goal to try and reach Malu’s current level of speaking in 3 months. We start this episode with a little explanation of the letter “w” and how it’s used in Hawaiian. The meat of this episode however is about being uncomfortable speaking Hawaiian as a second language speaker and also being misunderstood.
