Muižas nosaukums skaidrots kā Meža līdumā un Meža taka, Medību pils. Lielas egļu mežu platības. Kungu ēkas arhitektūra ir ļoti savdabīga, tā sevī apvieno dažādu stilu ietekmes – neoklasicismu, jūgendstilu, kopumā radot impozantu ēku ar nepārprotamām romantisma iezīmēm, kuru papildināja masīvais neobaroka tornis ar nelielu tornīti noslēgumā. Rotaļīgumu un eleganci izcēla terases, kāpnes un romantiskais skats uz dīķi. Saimniecība bija liela – kūtis, staļļi, rija, kučiera māja, klēts, siernīca, modernīca, spirta dedzinātava, sūknētava, kalpu māja, četras siltumnīcas – vīnogas, melones, dārzeņus. Bija pārvaldnieka māja. Zināms, ka pie barona par pavāru strādājis Otto Kļaviņš. Slavens bija Zaķu krogs. Dzelzāmuru pusmuižā bija Valdenrodes metāla fabrika, bija arī kaļķu ceplis. 1906. gadā Volfs iekārtoja iedzīvotāju vajadzībām lūgšanu telpu ar mācītāja sprediķiem, iekārtoja arī bērnudārzu. Barons Frīdrihs fon Volfs tur apmetās retāk, jo dzīvoja Rīgā, kur darbojās Vēstures un senatnes pētnieku biedrībā. Tartu universitātē studējis jurisprudenci, bija korporācijas Livonia biedrs. Valdenrode bija iekārtora laikmetam atbilstoši – bija telefona līnija, radiatoru apsilde. Viņš bija neprecējies. Valdenrodi skāra Pirmais pasaules karš, muižā apmetās Sibīrijas armijas 6. korpusa štābs. 1917. gadā vācu karaspēks šeit ierīko hospitāli. Muižā jau pirms 1919. gada bija bijis ugunsgrēks, bet 1919. gadā ēka iet bojā, jo atkausējot radiatorus, sākas ugunsgrēks, kas ēku sagrauj. Divdesmitajos gados pili daļēji restaurēja, realizējot citu arhitektūras risinājumu. 2002. gadā pilī atkārtoti izcēlās ugunsgrēks, kas ēku iznīcināja gandrīz pilnībā. Pili vairs neatjaunoja, un 2012. gada jūnijā to pilnībā nojauca. Vēl ir saglabājies parks, kā arī medību taka, saukta par Barondambi.

Era una calurosa noche de verano en la ciudad de Sabadell. Pili y su novio Pedro están en la cama. Pasan unos minutos de las dos de la mañana. Naomi Frisch is a Chicago-based attorney, musician, and community leader. She is a labor and employment lawyer, working on worker and union side cases since 2018. Frisch holds a Juris Doctorate, Magna cum Laude, from the Chicago-Kent College of Law. Legal Career: As a lawyer, Frisch focuses on labor and employment law, representing workers and unions in various cases. She has been working in this field since May 2018. Music Career: Frisch is also a talented musician, holding principal Oboe positions in the Illinois Philharmonic Orchestra and the Elmhurst Symphony Orchestra. She has a robust career as a freelance orchestral musician, soloist, and chamber music collaborator. Frisch also enjoys coaching woodwind chamber music for the award-winning Midwest Young Artists Conservatory. Community Involvement: Frisch has served on the board of the Regional Orchestra Players' Association since 2012. She is also involved in various community activities, including working as a PILI intern at the Legal Assistance Foundation in Chicago.
