In this episode, I'm sharing a candid BTS look at navigating life, motherhood, and entrepreneurship during what has been a really challenging personal season. But this is not my first rodeo! One of the most important things that's gotten me through this and other intense seasons have been the mindset shifts. And expanding my capacity by bringing on support and making strategic investments. Because the whole point is to grow and scale without working more than I am right now. So how do I do that? What does the plan look like? And how can you do this, too? That's exactly what we're getting into in this episode! → Broadcast Channel Link: https://www.instagram.com/channel/AbaAph8E1Wnq7sZO/?igsh=OXRyNDM4NHZhbHpo → Rachel Joy (@theracheljoy1): https://www.instagram.com/theracheljoy1/ → Tasha + Brandon Skillen (@rulesandrebellion): https://www.instagram.com/rulesandrebellion/ → Jordan Gill (@systemssavedme): https://www.instagram.com/systemssavedme/
When it comes to podcast strategies to grow your podcast, one strategy that often gets overlooked (because it takes time) is Search Engine Optimization (SEO). Now people are starting to market a "New" thing known as PSO (Podcast Search Optimization).Podcast Search Optimization VS Search Engine OptimizationSo what is the difference? In reality not much. Tools like Podseo and PSO and Ausha show you information on how often keywords are being search in Apple and Spotify (and others). SEO tools show what people are searching for in Google and other places (YouTube, TikTok, and more). So THE question is, do people search differently in a Podcast App vs how they search Google? For me, I don't think so. I might just type a keyword "Podcasting Best Practices" where in Google I would type "Podcasting Best Practices Podcast."Keyword Research Boils Dow To ThisFind a keyword that has a fair number of people searching for (somewhere between 20-100 searches), and see how much competition it has. Instead of trying to score for a really popular keyword, score multiple times with less popular (but still be sought after) key words with less competition. Mom said "Don't go play in traffic," but that's what you need to do - but no on the free way. What is Your Domain Authority?SEMRush (a great suite of tools) has a domain authority checker.Tools To Boost Your Podcast SEO on the WebFree Keyword Tool (That Sucks IMHO)https://www.wordstream.com/keywordsGoogle Keyword Tool (Inside of Adsense Account)https://ads.google.comGo to Tools > Planning > Keyword Planner (Free and unlimited use)Keywords Everywhere Extension for Chrome and Firefox $7/month. If you give me seven days to test the tool, give me access to ALL OF IT. I mean every marketer knows that you give it to the customer and let them "get hooked" so when their trial is over they will purchase.I couldn't do that as much of the tools spotlighted required me to upgrade. Boo.That being said it does show how much a keyword is searched for (not as specific as some tools for web seo). It also shows you how hard to competition is.Keep in mind that you need to give your dashboard 24 hours to show some statistics in your dashboard.Ausha PSO (affiliate)PodSEOThis is from Andrea De Marsi (Co-founder of Spreaker) and Francesco Baschieri (Co-founder of Spreaker) and it has a similar feature set to the ausha tool. You can save 10% using the coupon schoolofpodcasting. (affiliate)I thought it was very cool that Podseo alerted me to the mistake that I had accidentally listed my show twice in Spotify (I moved from Libsyn to Captivate - nuff said). It has some cool episode planners, and is cheaper than Ausha PSO. Their AI tools looks at your episodes and recommend future ideas and then helps you plan them, and has a calendar showing when the episodes were released. They also can send you daily updates on your rankings or your competition.Check it out at podseo.com and use the coupon schoolofpodcasting to save 10%Because of My Podcast: Paul ColliganPaul is a huge theater nerd, and loves the musical Chess. In this week's live Q&A, John Dominic Crossan takes questions from over 2,000 students in the Lenten class — and the questions are so good that even Dom says so (which, if you know Dom, is not nothing). The conversation moves fast: from the commons and enclosure as the operating logic of empire, to why Antipas moved his capital to a mosquito-infested lakeside city, to the first-century fishing boat built from twelve types of recycled wood as a symbol of economic squeeze, to why the multiplication of the loaves and fish is not just a miracle story but an act of interference in Antipas's export economy, to the difference between traction and distraction in political movements, to whether Christian theology has any business celebrating GDP growth when the boom doesn't boom for the people at the bottom. Crossan also takes on demons as imperial oppression embodied, Jesus as a healer who makes house calls and never sets up a shrine, and the Hagia Sophia mosaic where John says I am the light of the world and Matthew says you are — and why that single-word difference is the whole theology of participation in one sentence. If you haven't watched the lecture yet, do that first. If you have, this is where it gets applied. To join the class and get access to all four visual lectures, head to CrossanClass.com. In this second live Q&A of our Lent 2025 series Jesus in Galilee, Dom works through nearly 40 questions from the more than 2,000 people in the class — and Dom is, as promised, brief. The conversation moves from Cyrus and the economic disruption of Roman Galilee, to the misplaced colon in Isaiah 40 that quietly rewrote John the Baptist's identity, to why Mark borrowed a Roman horror story about a prostitute at a banquet to tell the story of John's execution. Dom defends his claim that Jesus underwent a genuine conversion after John's death — bigger than Paul's, he says, because it involved a different vision of God entirely — and insists that the apocalyptic tradition of waiting for God to intervene is not just a theological mistake but, after 2,000 years, edges toward something harsher than delusion. As always, Dom leaves you with more to think about than when you started. To join the class and get access to all four visual lectures, head to CrossanClass.com. You can WATCH the conversation on YouTube ONLINE LENT CLASS: Jesus in Galilee w/ John Dominic Crossan What can we actually know about Jesus of Nazareth? And, what difference does it make? This Lenten class begins where all of Dr. John Dominic Crossan's has work begins: with history. What was actually happening in Galilee in the 20s CE? What did Herod Antipas' transformation of the "Sea of Galilee" into the commercial "Sea of Tiberias" mean for peasant fishing communities? Why did Jesus emerge from John's baptism movement proclaiming God's Rule through parables—and what made that medium so perfectly suited to that message? Only by understanding what Jesus' parables meant then can we wrestle with what they might demand of us now. The class is donation-based, including 0, so join, get info, and join up here. Sina and Kumars fill Navid in on the abysmal response to this attack in the United States, Iran's ongoing retaliation against Israel and US bases in the region, and the massive mobilization of Shia Muslims in response to the news of Khamenei's martyrdom.

Mark answers the question about how long this conflict with Iran will persist. Mark interviews columnist Liz Peek. President Trump is scheduled to address the nation today regarding the ongoing military operations against Iran. Mark also pays tribute to legendary singer Neil Sedaka, reflecting on his life and career after his recent passing. Mayor Mamdani's comments about the Iran conflict have drawn strong criticism from conservative circles. Mark interviews author Ann Coulter. Ann suggests that President Trump's base is dissatisfied with his recent actions against Iran. In this first live Q&A of our Lent 2025 series Jesus in Galilee, Dom and I work through 35 questions from the more than 2,000 people who have joined the class — and true to form, Dom tries to honor every single one of them. The conversation ranges from the silver cups of Boscoreale to the Gulf of Mexico, from Josephus's gritted-teeth defense of Judaism to what a State of the Union address might look like if Jesus gave it tonight. Dom argues that the apocalyptic imagination is, bluntly, a loss of faith; that coinage was the only real mass media of antiquity; that nonviolent resistance was invented — not borrowed — in first-century Judea; and that if you want to understand what an autocrat is planning, read very carefully what the autocrat accuses his opponents of. It is, in other words, exactly the kind of conversation I look forward to all year. If you want in on the rest of the series — the lectures, the live Q&As, and the full archive — head to CrossanClass.com. You can WATCH the conversation YouTube ONLINE LENT CLASS: Jesus in Galilee w/ John Dominic Crossan What can we actually know about Jesus of Nazareth? John Dominic Crossan, professor emeritus at DePaul University, is widely regarded as the foremost historical Jesus scholar of our time. He is the author of several bestselling books, including The Historical Jesus, How to Read the Bible and Still Be a Christian, God and Empire, Jesus: A Revolutionary Biography, The Greatest Prayer, The Last Week, and The Power of Parable.
