August 1st was Ectopic Pregnancy Awareness Day, so I thought it would be a good time to open up about what has been going on with me since my Ectopic in April. There have been times during & after my pregnancy losses where I felt blindsided and alone. Not because I didn't have a support system, because I do. But because Pregnancy loss isn't commonly talked about, even though its happening more than we realize. I decided to speak up to make others going through it not feel alone. Unfortunately, everyone deals with some sort of loss at some point in their life, whether it be a pregnancy loss, a friend or family member passing, a pet passing, the loss of a job, an accident that changes your life, or a number of other hard things. In the episode, I talk about loss and how I have personally dealt with my experiences. Unfortunately, I have another story to share with you about pregnancy loss. Going through 4 pregnancy losses, I've learned a lot in my own personal healing journey that I think could be beneficial to others dealing with loss or for those who are helping someone dealing with loss. I am not a professional nor a therapist, I just want to share some things that have helped me personally in a healthy way. Also, one of the ways I cope is by talking about it and learning from my experiences to then help others, so thank you for being a listener, I am so grateful to have this space for my voice.
