In this sermon, we look at the announcement of Christ's birth to Mary. We see the glory of Christ and His majesty as the Savior sent to redeem His people from their sins. May we be reminded of the glory of our Lord and God's mercy to us through Him!

This passage highlights for us both the righteous judgment of the Eternal King and the blessings that He gives to those who belong to Him. In this sermon, we see the peace of Christ that rules our hearts as believers. We also see the riches of the indwelling Word for us in Christ. May we be encouraged to see the peace given to us and to treasure the Word of God as a precious gift of His grace!

In this study of the book of Malachi, we see a glorious truth about God in that He does not change. He is faithfully without change as the glorious God. However, in contrast, we need to be changed. And in the context of the book of Malachi, the people of Israel needed to repent and return. Join us as we unpack these truths from the Word of God!

What does it mean to be focused on eternal priorities as a Christian? How do we set our minds on things above? In Colossians 3:1-4, we are given instruction on how we are to pursue the Lord as believers. Since we have been risen to new life by the grace of the Gospel we are to live as new creatures seeking the praise of our glorious Savior!

What kind of spiritual leadership honors God? What is His calling on spiritual leaders? We look at Malachi chapter 2 and see His rebuke on the priests of Israel. Throughout this passage, we glean much wisdom on faithful spiritual leadership. Ultimately, we see the perfection of Christ, who is our high priest and authority at the right hand of God!

In this study of the Word of God, we see the importance of both a God-honoring heart and God-honoring actions in worship. We are to worship Him as He has commanded in His Word. The book of Malachi shows us the heart God desires for worship and directs us to the standard of Scripture for how we are to worship Him.

In this sermon, we see the wonderful sufficiency and glory of the Lord Jesus Christ. Paul calls on us to avoid false doctrine and false religion and to instead cling to the grace of God given to us through Christ!

The book of Malachi shows us much about God's character and the greatness of His name. Opening up Malachi 1:1-5, we see the glory of God's sovereign, eternal, and covenantal love for His people. Join us as we see the love of God decreed before the foundation of the world and perfectly demonstrated through work of Jesus Christ!

In this week's midweek Bible study, we conclude our series through the seven letters to the seven churches. We study the church of Laodicea known for being lukewarm. What we see is the assessment of the Lord Jesus Christ that it was the spiritual pride which fueled their being lukewarm. May we be reminded to see our great need of Christ and be compelled to live passionately for the glory of His name!

As we open Colossians chapter 2, we see the Apostle Paul's struggle for the church. We see the Christ-honoring desires he has for the church and his investment in the body to walk in submission to Christ. As Christians, we must submit to the Lord for what He wants for our own lives and for the life of the local church. And, we must pursue this laboring with diligence for the glory of our Lord!

We continue working through the seven letters to the seven churches coming to the congregation in Philadelphia. Christ gives much encouragement to this church body who is seeking to be faithful to Him. A healthy local church realizes all that it is comes from the grace of the Lord Jesus. We certainly see that in this passage of Scripture!

What was Paul's goal in life as a servant of the Lord Jesus Christ? He sought to honor the Lord by making known the entire counsel of the Word of God. Our lives are to be devoted to the service of Christ by serving others. We should be both living according to and making known the entirety of God's Word. May this section of the Word of God stir our hearts to be faithful to Him!

In this study of the Word of God, we look at the letter of Christ to the church in Sardis. This letter reveals a church in need of stern rebuke and urgent repentance before the Lord. May we each evaluate our own lives before Christ and serve Him from a pure heart of worship!

In our midweek Bible study, we continuing working through the seven letters to the seven churches. We cover the letter to the church in Thyatira. This church was overly tolerant of evil and false teaching. There is much application for the church today to learn to cling to Christ, uphold the truth of His Word, and oppose that which is evil by proclaiming the full counsel of Scripture!

In this sermon, we look at the church in Pergamum. Christ commends them for standing firm in the midst of persecution. However, they needed to repent of falling prey to compromise with the world. We see Christ's encouragement and rebuke to the church, giving much application for us as Christians today!

In this sermon, we see the Lord Jesus commending and encouraging the church in Smyrna facing suffering. How should we as Christians respond to suffering? How can we be faithful to Christ? The Lord gives the church admonitions in light of the suffering they will face, which instruct us as believers how to honor Him in times of suffering and persecution.

In this sermon, we open our series through the book of Colossians as a church body. Paul is thankful for the faithfulness of the Colossian church. He knows the work of Christ in and through this body and that leads him to give thanks to God. May we be encouraged to faithfulness in Christ and praise Him for His work through the church!
