All Things Porn & Sex Work

In this week's episode, we spill all of our secrets by diving deep into all types of sex work starting with porn, going through Only fans and until stripping. This is our longest episode so far as there was so much to cover and we are both passionate about having conversations like these that help break taboos and open up perspectives. There is a huge stigma on what sex work actually is like and how it affects us as a society but the reality is, sex work only exists because there is a market for it. Where there is demand, supply will follow. The point of this episode is to help break the stigma through sharing openly both our experiences with sex work, what we did/do, how we got into it and why, setting boundaries or how they may evolve as well as the misconception about porn and its dangers, and more.Lu has never watched porn and Lili loves it. We both did Only Fans but Lu quit while Lili is still on it.Lu got into it when Covid hit in 2020 when isolation first hit and the strip clubs closed. She also explains how she got into stripping, what it consists of in Australia and why she quit as well.We also go through common concerns people have regarding sex work such as if it contributes to sexism or to women reclaiming their power over the patriarchy, whether the only reason you'd get into it is because you would have no other choice or if it can be seen as just another way to earn money, choosing love over money, etc...Overall, this episode is just taking you on a tumultuous journey of the inside and out of sex work through how we both experienced it.Here are some of the resources we mentioned in the podcast: Places to get your ethical porn:https://lustcinema.com/https://www.bellesa.co/https://www.manyvids.com/https://onlyfans.com/onlyfanshttps://makelovenotporn.tv/@lalaletmeexplain on Instagram"More Orgasms Please", book from The Hot Bed CollectiveLet us know your thoughts and if you like this type of episode ! ----------------- Follow along Lu & Lili Jasmijn as they explore what it means to be a multidimensional woman in the 21st century. In this week's episode, we open up a controversial but much-needed discussion about body image, its roots in our society and how it deeply impacted all of us, men and women, since childhood. We both share our personal journeys in the hopes that it helps those who can relate or share a different perspective as well as our main tips to improve your overall body image- aka your relationship with your body.Your body is the only place you will ever have to live in. You only have this one. So, you might as well learn to love it and appreciate it for what it is and what it can do !We also tried navigating the lines around body positivity and what we are allowed to say in that regard- acknowledging our privilege: can we struggle to feel positive about our bodies as two white, cis-gendered females with "thin privilege"?This is a quite raw and no-filter conversation, we are talking from both our individual experiences- which is all anyone can ever do.Let us know your thoughts and if you like this type of episode ! ----------------- Follow along Lu & Lili Jasmijn as they explore what it means to be a multidimensional woman in the 21st century. In this week's episode, we talk about everything contraception.Lili breaks down the most common forms of contraception between hormonal and non- hormonal, as well as some pretty controversial facts about testing and risks. We both share our stories with birth control growing up: from using the pill, Implanon, IUD to tracking our own cycle naturally and embracing it.We come to the conclusion that the best contraception is the one that works for YOU, but before you can decide which contraception that is it is important to get educated about it, both men and woman, as it affects everyone equally.Lili recommends reading "Period Power" by Maisie Hill who gives people who menstruate a no-nonsense explanation of what the hell happens to their hormones every month and how they can use each phase to its full advantage.Let us know your thoughts and please share this episode with everyone who you think can benefit from it! ----------------- Follow along Lu & Lili Jasmijn as they explore what it means to be a multidimensional woman in the 21st century. Attachment Styles & How It Can Help Improve or Build Long Lasting Relationships

In this week's episode, we break down what attachment styles are and explain how this "science of love" can help you build, maintain or improve your relationships; whether romantic ones or friendships, family,...If you have been feeling misunderstood in the way you handle your relationships or even repeating patterns- in your dating/married life or else- this episode is for you.Attachment styles can be categorized as secure or insecure. Secure people represent 50% of the population and are comfortable with intimacy while insecure people struggle with it, either associating it with a loss of independence or craving it to the point of worrying about it constantly. There are 3 types of insecure attachment styles: anxious attachment, avoidant attachment and "anxious avoidant" attachment, which is a mix of the first two. Learning about attachment styles was life changing for both of us as it brought awareness to how we were most likely to react in certain situations; it taught us what we need to feel safe or "secure" and how to communicate that.We hope that this episode can have that same impact on you, maybe even help you realize what style you are, and hopefully teach you how to recognize it in others as well. The book we recommended for everyone to read is called:"Attached: The New Science of Adult Attachment and How it can Help you Find Love and Keep Love" by Amir Levine & Rachel S.F. Heller.Let us know your thoughts and if you like this type of episode ! ----------------- Follow along Lu & Lili Jasmijn as they explore what it means to be a multidimensional woman in the 21st century. In this week's episode, we talk about dating apps, ghosting and how they can promote hook up culture by offering what seems to be a varied range of options after every swipe. So, most people find themselves looking for "the next best thing" instead of dating intentionally or knowing what they want. Starting with our personal experiences with them, how no one seems to like them but everyone seems to be on them- or has, at least, tried them before- and how easy it is to "disappear" when you don't want to talk to someone anymore aka ghosting. Lu gives us things to say instead of taking the easy way out and ghost while Lili explains how there is nothing wrong with hook up culture and the apps can make it that much easier. All in all, it's just a refreshing and light-hearted episode giving an insight into what it's like to date nowadays. We all know that one person who asks everyone what their birthday is 5 minutes upon meeting them, right? Well that's Lu.In this week's episode we talk about everything & anything astrology. From explaining what a birth chart actually is, to translating Lili's birth chart, to discovering what all the different planets mean in relation to you.Did you know you are actually not just your "sun sign" (the one you probably know from your horoscope)? But at the exact time and place you were born, all the planets were in different signs, which means different things about you.Astrology is like a language that gives us insight into our personalities. It doesn't take away from our individual experiences and it doesn't mean everything is set in stone (you can't use it to justify bad behavior), but it is a great tool for personal growth and radical self-acceptance.Hope you enjoy this witchy episode (or find it entertaining), please let us know your thoughts or if you want to know more. ----------------- Follow along Lu and Lili Jasmijn as they explore what it means to be a multidimensional woman in the 21st century. - Trigger Warning -In this week's episode, we talk about consent and all its nuances. Starting with rape, then sexual assault and then sexual harassment. We share our personal stories and how some of these experiences have deeply affected our lives. We tried to navigate this vast topic as best we could through our own perspectives and ask that you respect how hard it can be to talk about this so openly. We felt it was important to use our platforms and voices to help those feeling alone or misunderstood as it can be so easy to invalidate our own experiences. Especially as a lot of things are perceived as normal by our society or accepted by the "boys will be boys" culture.Hopefully this episode can also be used as a guide for some on what consent actually means, how it is not purely black & white, how to educate others into taking responsibility, and how to have conversations about it. ----------------- Follow along Lu and Lili Jasmijn as they explore what it means to be a multidimensional woman in the 21st century.
