Last week the ministry of tourism in Brazil announced as of June 17th 2019 they are Discontinuing the e visa program for americans (Australians, Japanese and Canadians) allowing them visa free travel for 90 days with the possibility of extending to 180 days.
In the middle of planning a trip to China, we had to head to Seattle to have a 3rd party assist us in getting visa's. There is a problem some of the worlds most popular tourist attractions are facing and its called overtourism. Over tourism is what happens when a place becomes too popular and tourism becomes unsustainable. In this episode I talk about my experiences with overtourism, some ways to combat it and posting responsibly on social media while you travel.
