Episode 134 of the Jungle Squad Cast brings laughter, insight, and a little tension into the den as we welcome David Got Jokes. Known for his sharp comedic mind, his role as general manager of the Stress Factory, and his work alongside Queenzflip, David pulls back the curtain on what it really looks like to build a career in comedy from the inside out. We talk about his journey, the grind behind the laughs, and how navigating rooms full of egos, talent, and pressure shapes you over time. The conversation naturally drifts into media politics and personalities. We break down the difference between the Joe Budden Podcast with Mona and without her, how behind-the-scenes roles can quietly change the entire tone of a platform, and what listeners don't always see. Things get personal when Queenzflip blocking Ape comes up, leading to a moment of accountability, reflection, and a real-time apology that reminds everyone how small the industry can feel when pride gets in the way.Music keeps the episode moving. Wiz Khalifa's Khaotic sparks discussion about evolution, consistency, and whether artists should chase their old sound or embrace where life has taken them. A$AP Rocky's Don't Be Dumb leads into a conversation about intention, artistry, and the pressure of being both fashionable and musically respected. Plaqueboy Max and Bryson Tiller's “WYD” brings R&B back into the room, while Fivio Foreign and Lil Tjay's “Sexy” keeps the energy playful but still rooted in today's sound. The Jungle then turns to the headlines. Martin Lawrence going viral for his weight loss opens a discussion about aging in the public eye and how celebrities are treated when their bodies change. Meek Mill showing off his dance moves becomes a conversation about confidence and internet ridicule. The mood shifts as the indictment of French Olympic swimmer Yannick Agnel is discussed, leading to a serious and uncomfortable conversation about power, abuse, and accountability. We close the segment with Power Force's season finale, breaking down how the show continues to keep viewers locked in and debating character loyalty. As always, the episode finds its core in the relationship talk. The squad reflects on entering their 30s, how perspectives change, and what plans start to matter when time feels more real. One hypothetical stirs the room: a ten-year relationship where your partner comes out as bisexual and asks for a threesome to be “sure” — do you stay or walk? The honesty gets sharper as we ask what would realistically end a relationship within the year if things didn't work out. And to close, a tough power question hits the table: would you rather control all the money, or trust your partner with it, knowing there's no middle ground?Episode 134 blends humor, accountability, culture, and real-life tension in a way only the Jungle can. Big laughs, uncomfortable truths, and conversations that don't hide behind polish.Welcome back to the Jungle.—Subscribe: YouTube.com/@JSCNetwork_ Follow: @thejunglesquadcast Ape Loso – @apeishere_ Rad – @radical_jl Rahh – @_rahhbanks Guest: David Got Jokes#JungleSquadCast #Episode134 #DavidGotJokes #ComedyCulture #PodcastTalk #StressFactory #HipHopDebate #RelationshipConversations #UnfilteredPodcast

On this episode, Ed sits down with host Anastasia for a co-op career retrospective covering highlights, regrets, and what comes next – for the Littleton Co-op and one of the most prominent people behind it. Episode 445 Brought to you by: C&G Holsters Medical Gear Outfitters Die Free Co. Blue Alpha Bowers Group Swampfox Optics Text Dear WLS or Reviews +1 743 500 2171 Dear WLS Question from Micah Oxard ♻️ Any updates with potential holster sponsorships? Jeremy's still a cunt. Happy holidays. Question from Drew Peabauls ♻️ I'm planning to purchase a Mitchell defense 10.3” DOC for a home defense rifle. Considering the potential indoor use case, I want to run a dedicated suppressor. What recommendations do you have for the quietest can with low back pressure? No price limitations. Question from Brassguy Jarhead ♻️ "Do ya have any experience with Right to Bear Arms builder sets? If so, what are your thoughts? I'm going to build a 204 Ruger and was going to use an Aero Precision builder set but apparently they quit doing those. Thanks for the input. No notes. PS. Jeremy is a cunt" Question from Karl F ♻️ Hey guys! I live in Virginia and that isn't going to change anytime soon due to proximity to family. Unfortunately, after recent elections, we are almost guaranteed to be facing an assault weapons ban along with a myriad of other gun control next year. I'm currently stocking up in hopes of a grandfather clause. I have plenty of AR15 components; however, I don't have any piston guns. Any suggestions for something I should consider picking up before I can't anymore? I'm not interested in an AK, and I would like to stick to either 556, 300 Blackout, or 6.5 creedmore. I'm leaning towards a 16"" barrel but am open to others. My first thought was a BRN-4 from Brownells but they appear to be all out of stock at the moment. Any input is appreciated. Keep up the great show. #blamecanada Question from Harry Pickle ♻️ Is it just me or is it the older I get (im 29) the more I appreciate the bush on a woman. Do yall appreciate the bush? I'm all for bringing back the 70s hair and 70s bush, and I'm not talking about no landing strip I'm talking about ZZ Top eating a beef and cheddar Question from Nightwasher513 TX ♻️ Thank you for trying to answer my question on episode 435. It was about making a pistol brace for your 3d printed firearms. My follow up question is. What is the likelihood that any of the 3d printed pistols with a pistol brace, would have gotten a letter from the ATF. Case in point, the MacDaddy MAC 11 has a pistol brace designed on it. So then since that designer most likely has not gotten a letter from the ATF, does that mean the 1000s of people that have printed it and installed it are breaking the law? That being said, is there any negative effects on submitting a brace design to the ATF. I carry every day with my DB Alloy MAC 11 in my backpack? And last follow up question. If a steel plate at had a serial number engraved on it to ATF specs that then was inserted into the printed frame during the printing process and could not be removed without destroying the print be in compliance with the ATF rules? I really hope you read this question before Aaron gets back. #NOAARON. Question from Duzzit Fittenmy ♻️ Camorado is Rad. When are we going to get line of flannel shirts? I think each WLS cast member should come up with their own flannel pattern and color scheme. Question from Mitch C ♻️ Which 9mm revolver would you guys get if you wanted to dip your toes in the revolver classes of your local matches? Red dot and holster compatible. Or would you just not be a poor, broke ass bitch and shoot .38? Thanks for everything, daddies *reader of this question then lets out a little moan* Winner: Drew Peabauls Gun Industry News HK Offers VP9 Packages with Vortex Defender Optics ♻️ Heckler & Koch is now offering pre-packaged VP9 pistol bundles that include Vortex Defender red dot optics, simplifying the optics-ready setup for shooters. Episode 133 of the Jungle Squad Cast brings fresh energy into the den as we welcome Samar Foe, a rising artist out of Connecticut whose name is starting to circulate for all the right reasons. We kick things off by getting into his journey — the grind, the setbacks, the motivation, and what it really takes to stand out in a state where talent often goes overlooked. Samar opens up about his path as an artist, the sacrifices behind the scenes, and what separates chasing a moment from building something that lasts. Once the story is set, the Jungle moves into the music. Coke Wave 3.5: Narcos brings gritty nostalgia back to the forefront, sparking conversation about street rap, evolution, and whether today's artists can balance realism with growth. Yung Bleu's Therapy shifts the mood toward vulnerability, prompting discussion about emotional transparency in hip hop and how pain gets packaged for mass consumption. Ari Lennox's “Vacancy,” with her album on the way, opens a conversation about R&B honesty, intimacy, and why authenticity still cuts deeper than perfection. From there, the room turns its attention to what's shaking the culture. J. Cole announcing The Fall Off dropping on February 6th sends the conversation into expectations, legacy, and whether fans are ready to let artists close chapters they've been holding onto for years. Questions swirl around Kai Cenat and whether he's stepping away from streaming, opening a broader discussion about burnout, pressure, and the cost of constant visibility. Fetty Wap being free sparks reflection on second chances, missed time, and how the industry moves on whether you're ready or not. And Druski's Pastor Tim Ross skit leads to a deeper conversation about satire, religion, and where comedy crosses into commentary. As always, the episode closes where things get personal. The squad debates whether people really racked up more bodies before Covid or after, and what isolation, apps, and shifting values did to dating culture. Then comes the age-old question — is love a feeling that hits you, or a choice you make daily even when it's uncomfortable? And to wrap it all up, we ask the most dangerous question of all: if you could know exactly how a relationship would end, would you still choose to begin it? Episode 133 is reflective, hungry, and honest — a mix of ambition, culture, and uncomfortable truths that defines the Jungle at its best. A rising artist, real conversation, and no filters in sight. This week on The Bend Show: hiking headlines, we report on a deadly mountain lion attack and then how a drone delivered hope to a stranded hiker. Plus a blast from the past nostalgia. Retro fun—from “Rad” vs “6–7” to Red Rover and rotary phones—could Gen Z figure them out? Join radio hosts Rebecca Wanner aka ‘BEC' and Jeff ‘Tigger' Erhardt (Tigger & BEC) with the latest in Outdoors & Western Lifestyle News! Deadly Mountain Lion Attack Shocks Hiking Community Authorities have ended the search for mountain lions after a solo hiker was fatally attacked on a remote Colorado trail near Rocky Mountain National Park. The victim was identified as 46-year-old Kristen Marie Kovatch of Fort Collins. She was found dead on New Year's Day along the Crosier Mountain Trail, southeast of the small community of Glen Haven. Two hikers discovered her body around noon and reported seeing a mountain lion nearby, which they scared off by throwing rocks. One of the hikers, a physician, tried to help but could not find a pulse. An autopsy confirmed Kovatch died from asphyxia caused by compression to her neck. The Larimer County Coroner ruled her death an accident, saying her injuries were consistent with a mountain lion attack. It was Colorado's first fatal mountain lion attack since the late 1990s and only the fourth reported in North America over the past decade. Wildlife officers killed two mountain lions in the area later that day. Officials say one of the animals, a male, had human DNA on its paws. A third lion was reportedly seen, but after four days of searching with no further evidence, authorities called off the effort and reopened nearby trails. Kovatch's family described her as an ultramarathon runner who loved hiking and Colorado's public lands. Wildlife officials note there have been several mountain lion encounters in the region in recent months, including attacks on dogs and a runner who fought off a lion last fall. Colorado is home to an estimated 3,800 to 4,400 mountain lions, which are rarely aggressive toward humans but can pose a risk in isolated areas. The hiker was spotted in the evening, just after 8 p.m., waving for help from the rocky Camel's Head area. With darkness setting in and the terrain too dangerous to navigate at night, rescuers knew they couldn't reach him until morning. Instead of leaving him without help, the Phoenix Fire Department launched a weight-bearing drone. The drone flew supplies directly to the mountaintop, delivering a cell phone, food, water, and a blanket to keep the hiker safe and comfortable overnight. Camelback Mountain sees dozens of rescues every year, often due to extreme heat and difficult trails. Until now, firefighters relied mostly on helicopters and ground crews. But drones—originally introduced in 2022 for wildfire monitoring—are changing how rescues are handled. The department's drones use thermal imaging and can carry up to six pounds. Each drone costs about $15,000, but firefighters say the technology is already proving its value. Crews were able to make multiple quick supply drops during the night—something that would have taken much longer on foot. Phoenix Fire officials say this mission highlights their commitment to using new technology to protect both firefighters and the public, and they plan to keep expanding how drones are used in future rescues. Top Stories for January 6th Publish Date: January 6th From the BG AD Group Studio Welcome to the Gwinnett Daily Post Podcast. Today is Tuesday, January 6th and Happy Birthday to Malcolm Young I’m Peyton Spurlock and here are your top stories presented by KIA Mall of Georgia. Lawrenceville's new downtown hotel rising ahead of schedule Lawrenceville resident kicks off new year by winning $1 million in the Georgia Lottery The Latest: US strikes Venezuela, captures Maduro and his wife All of this and more is coming up on the Gwinnett Daily Post podcast, and if you are looking for community news, we encourage you to listen daily and subscribe! Break 1: Kia Mall of Georgia - Sugar Hill Ice Skating Rink STORY 1: Lawrenceville's new downtown hotel rising ahead of schedule Lawrenceville’s dream of a downtown hotel has been a slow burn—years of planning, delays, and setbacks. But now? It’s finally happening, and faster than anyone expected. The Lawrence Hilton Tapestry, a boutique hotel nestled between the Lawrenceville Lawn and Arts Center, is set to open mid-2026. Or maybe even earlier. “We’re ahead of schedule and under budget,” said City Manager Chuck Warbington. Brickwork is already going up, and the weather’s been a surprising ally—minimal rain, no freezing temps. The hotel will feature 120 rooms, meeting spaces, a chef-driven restaurant (Bellfire), and a bar (Old Nick’s). Plus, 200 new parking spots in the city-owned deck below. This project’s been a decade in the making, delayed by COVID and financing hurdles. But now, Lawrenceville’s vision of a walkable, thriving downtown is finally within reach. STORY 2: Lawrenceville resident kicks off new year by winning $1 million in the Georgia Lottery Three Georgians are starting 2026 a whole lot richer—millionaires, in fact. Among them? A lucky winner from Lawrenceville, along with two others from College Park and Grovetown. Their $1 million prizes came from the Georgia Lottery’s second-chance Georgia Millionaire drawing, announced right as the clock struck midnight on New Year’s. Talk about a way to ring in the new year. The Georgia Millionaire scratcher offers $10,000 instant prizes and a shot at the big one through second-chance entries. STORY 3: The Latest: US strikes Venezuela, captures Maduro and his wife The United States launched a military operation early Saturday, capturing Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro and his wife, in a move that’s already shaking the world. By morning, he was aboard a U.S. warship, blindfolded and bound for New York to face drug trafficking charges. President Trump, speaking on Fox News, called the operation “genius” and confirmed the U.S. would oversee Venezuela’s next steps. “We’ll be involved very much,” he said. The fallout was immediate. Venezuela’s U.N. ambassador condemned the strike as a “colonial war,” while China and Russia slammed the U.S. for violating international law. Meanwhile, in South Florida, Venezuelan exiles celebrated, waving flags and chanting “Liberty!” Maduro’s capture marks a dramatic escalation in U.S.-Venezuela tensions. Trump dismissed criticism over bypassing Congress, calling his opponents “weak” and insisting the operation was necessary. “The tyrant is gone,” said Deputy Secretary of State Christopher Landau. We have opportunities for sponsors to get great engagement on these shows. Call 770.874.3200 for more info. We’ll be right back Break 2: Ingles Markets STORY 4: ART BEAT: Beat those January blues with exciting Gwinnett arts events Feeling the post-holiday slump? The decorations are packed away, the parties are over, and—ugh—football season’s almost done. So now what? Here’s an idea: throw on that big coat, brave the chill, and dive into Gwinnett’s arts scene. Plays, concerts, art classes—there’s plenty to shake off the winter blahs. On Jan. 11, the Gwinnett Symphony Orchestra and Youth Orchestra team up for a concert at Discovery Theatre in Lawrenceville. Mozart, Strauss, and even Anderson’s quirky “The Typewriter” are on the program. Tickets? Head to www.tix.com. Prefer visual art? The Hudgens Center in Duluth has three exhibits running through January, including “Sketching with Buck,” a stunning collection of hand-drawn architectural sketches from around the world. Or maybe you’re itching to create? The Suwanee Arts Center offers classes like “Watercolor Landscapes” (Jan. 7 and 14) and “Drawing Basics” starting Jan. 17. Winter doesn’t stand a chance. STORY 5: Meet the first babies born in 2026 at hospitals in Gwinnett New Year’s Eve is exciting enough—countdowns, confetti, champagne. But imagine if Jan. 1 was also your birthday. That’s exactly the case for a few lucky babies born in Gwinnett hospitals as the calendar flipped to 2026. At 12:44 a.m., Julian Alessandro Sanchez made his debut at Northside Hospital Gwinnett in Lawrenceville, becoming their first baby of the year. Over at Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Braselton, Brittany and Ryan Hopper of Hoschton welcomed twin boys—Koen Anthony at 4:58 a.m. and Kaden Michael at 5:14 a.m. The Hopper family even received a gift basket from the hospital’s Auxiliary and Safe Kids program. We’ll be right back. Break 3: EAGLE THEATRE Gentleman’s Guide STORY 6: Gwinnett police offering free women's basic self-defense course The Gwinnett County Police Department is hosting a self-defense program for women 16 and up, and honestly, it’s something every woman should consider. The Rape Aggression Defense (RAD) course isn’t just about learning moves—it’s about building confidence, awareness, and practical skills to stay safe. Over four sessions (Jan. 20, 22, 27, and 29, from 6–9 p.m.), participants will dive into risk awareness, avoidance strategies, and hands-on defense techniques. It wraps up with a live simulation—because practice makes perfect, right? Held at the Gwinnett Police Training Center in Lawrenceville, spots fill fast. Don’t wait. Call 678.442.6520 or visit GwinnettCounty.com/RAD to register. STORY 7: Norcross Grad Mason Kaplan Earns NCAA Elite Scholar-Athlete Award Norcross alum Mason Kaplan just added another impressive accolade to his already stacked resume. On Saturday, the Illinois State linebacker snagged the NCAA FCS Football Elite Scholar-Athlete Award—one of the most prestigious academic honors in college football. Here’s the deal: this award isn’t just about being good on the field. It’s for the student-athlete with the highest GPA at the finals site of an NCAA championship. And Kaplan? He’s rocking a 4.0 in grad school, studying the psychology of sport and physical activity. Oh, and he’s also president of ISU’s Student-Athlete Advisory Committee. What’s wild? Kaplan started his college career as a quarterback, playing two seasons at Valparaiso and one at Illinois State before an injury sidelined him in 2024. This year, though, he’s made a seamless (and dominant) transition to linebacker, helping lead the Redbirds to Monday’s FCS National Championship in Nashville. We’ll have closing comments after this Break 4: GCPL Passport Signoff – Thanks again for hanging out with us on today’s Gwinnett Daily Post Podcast. Public housing authorities (PHAs) are increasingly finding that common funding opportunities such as U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) financing is not meeting their operational or capital needs. With recent policy changes on the horizon that will further drain PHA resources, many are turning to programs such as Rental Assistance Demonstration (RAD). On this episode of the Tax Credit Tuesday podcast, Michael Novogradac, CPA, and Novogradac partner Rich Larsen, CPA, give a crash course on the RAD program and discuss how PHAs can utilize RAD to support their public housing developments. The pair also discuss how to most effectively utilize tax credit equity, such as low-income housing tax credit (LIHTC) equity, in RAD transactions.

This week I'm joined by Ben Massey, Founder of @rad_global, for a conversation that goes far beyond fitness and footwear. I'm a big fan of Ben and have long admired the way he's built RAD, choosing standards, craft and long-term thinking over hype and shortcuts. All whilst playing in one of the most difficult and competitive markets possible. In this episode, we talk about what it really takes to build a premium brand in a noisy world and the discipline required to stay true to your vision. We also explore the realities of entrepreneurship and getting started with nothing but belief and determination. Ben shares openly about the lessons learned along the way, the importance of doing fewer things better, and why playing the long game is often the hardest but most rewarding path. If you're a founder, operator or someone striving for excellence in any field, this is a conversation that will challenge how you think about building a brand.
What if the greatest mysteries of the year…weren't just the stories we covered, but the moments we shared along the way?As the year winds down and the lights glow a little softer, we're closing out the season by looking back, looking ahead, and leaning fully into the feeling that makes this time of year special. This week, we're trading deep dives for deep reflection. We talk about our favorite episodes of the season - the ones that stuck with us, surprised us, scared us, made us laugh, or just felt the most “Rad.” From strange mysteries to personal obsessions, we break down why certain stories lingered long after the microphones were turned off.We also unwrap one of the most meaningful gifts we've ever shared on the show - a copy of The Secret: A Treasure Hunt, tipped off to us by one of our listeners. A book that isn't just about hidden gems and riddles… but about curiosity, wonder, and the thrill of chasing something magical just because it's there. From there, the conversation wanders (the way it always does). We talk about what we're excited to explore next season. The stories we can't wait to tell. The mysteries still calling to us. And what the Christmas season means to us now - as dads, creators, and kids who never quite let go of that feeling. And finally, we find ourselves longing for the old days…Wandering the aisles of toy stores in the 80s and 90s.The smell of plastic and cardboard.Endless shelves. No phones. No rush.Just imagination. It's a season finale that feels less like an episode - and more like hanging out after the presents are opened, batteries half-dead, manuals spread across the floor, and time standing still for just a little while longer. So slow down.Let the memories linger. And hold onto that feeling just a little longer.Because the best treasures aren't always buried…Sometimes they're the stories we tell, the people we share them with, and the memories we keep chasing.Stay Curious.Stay Spooked.Stay Forever Rad.Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!SEE YOU NEXT SEASON (JANUARY 2026)
Raději mluví o budování důvěry a dlouhodobých vztahů. Tohle není rozhovor o číslech a strategiích.
Episode 131 strips the Jungle back to its core. No guest, no buffer, no outside energy to balance the room — just the squad in their purest form. These are the episodes where the conversations breathe, the jokes run longer, and the disagreements hit harder. When it's just the Jungle, nothing gets softened. We start where the pulse always lives: the music. 21 Savage's What Happened 2 The Streets? opens a conversation about whether street rap is evolving or disappearing, and who's really carrying that sound forward. Nas and DJ Premier reunite on “Light Years,” reminding everyone what mastery sounds like when legends refuse to age quietly. Lil Tjay's “Used 2 Love” pushes the room into emotional territory, questioning whether heartbreak records still feel authentic when vulnerability becomes a formula. Friday's “Everybody Got Somebody” adds a smoother contrast, while DaBaby's “Letter to My YN” brings the conversation back to responsibility, mentorship, and what it means to speak to the next generation. Popcaan and Sway's “Tek Time” shifts the energy global, and GloRilla's “March” closes the music run with raw momentum and presence. From there, the Jungle locks in on the culture. The Diddy documentary sparks debate over accountability, timing, and who gets to control the narrative once the damage is done. Netflix and Paramount battling for Warner Bros. opens a bigger discussion about media consolidation, power plays, and how streaming is quietly reshaping what stories even get told. The firing of Ebro and Rosenberg from Hot 97 hits close to home, raising questions about loyalty, relevance, and what radio looks like in an era where platforms rise and fall overnight. And as wrestling history approaches a turning point, John Cena's final week in the ring becomes a conversation about legacy, knowing when to walk away, and whether icons ever really get to retire on their own terms. As always, the episode settles into its most honest space with the relationship talk. The squad debates whether long-term relationships thrive more when partners are similar or when opposites force each other to grow. Personal stories surface about moments when something serious was shared with a partner — only to be brushed off — and the lingering damage that dismissal can leave behind. The conversation closes with a tough, uncomfortable question: should someone even be in a relationship if they don't make at least $50,000 a year, or is that mindset reducing love to logistics?Episode 131 is reflective, argumentative, and unapologetically real. No guest. No distractions. Just the Jungle doing what it does best — saying the things most people only think.Welcome back to the Jungle.—Subscribe: YouTube.com/@JSCNetwork_ Follow: @thejunglesquadcast Ape Loso – @apeishere_ Rad – @radical_jl Rahh – @_rahhbanks#JungleSquadCast #Episode131 #HipHopCulture #NasAndPremier #21Savage #DiddyDoc #Hot97 #RelationshipTalk #PodcastUnfiltered

This is the first of two episodes where I was a guest back in 2024 on the Partial Historians, a fantastic podcast which I suggest you check out. Over two epsiodes we discuss the places in ancient Rome linked to the Regal period, or at least tied to it by the later sources. In the first episode it's time to consider the strategic position of Rome, some of the hills, the Tiber, Pomerium and much more. Plenty of tangents ensued which were all my fault as you will hear. Dr G and Dr Rad were fab hosts and I hope you enjoy the chat we had. Thanks again to the Partial Historians for letting me share these episodes. You can find their podcast via the link and also read their books, 'Rex: The Seven Kings of Rome' and 'Your Cheeky Guide to the Roman Empire', both well worth a read. I'm keen to know your thoughts on how I came across, I was both nervy and excited and a bit manic but I think I did ok. Feel free to contact me on social media (@ancientblogger on TikTok, Instagram, Bluesky, and X). There's also the Ancient History Hound subreddit and my Ancient Blogger YouTube channel. If you are really old school there's ancientblogger@hotmail.com Reviews and such are always greatly appreciated. Part two will be uploaded in a couple of weeks. Till then, keep safe and stay well.
What if one of the most famous monsters in the world…wasn't just a legend of the mountains - but the centerpiece of a secret Cold War operation?High in the Himalayas - where the air thins, the snow never melts, and the mountains feel ancient and alive - Sherpas whisper about screams echoing across the ridgelines.About something powerful enough to snap a yak's neck with a single blow.About a creature that walks like a man… but is anything but human. For centuries, locals have known it by another name: the Yeti. This week, we ascend into the frozen heart of the Rooftop of the World to explore the legend of the Abominable Snowman — from ancient Tibetan tapestries and monastery relics, to chilling eyewitness encounters, to the famous footprints photographed on Himalayan glaciers. But the mystery doesn't end in the snow.Because in the 1950s, as the world edged closer to nuclear war, the Yeti attracted the attention of a Texas oil heir named Tom Slick — a millionaire adventurer, monster hunter, and possible CIA asset who funded multiple expeditions into Nepal, attempted to trap the creature alive, and smuggled alleged Yeti remains out of the Himalayas… with the help of Hollywood legend Jimmy Stewart.Together, we'll trace the tangled trail of folklore, footprints, secret missions, and unexplained deaths that make this one of the strangest stories we've ever covered.

There is a narrative device which, when implemented, can add punch, power, and percolation to any sentence, essay, speech, play, poem. This device is called “diacope” and it is a figure of speech where a word or phrase is repeated, with one or more words in between the repetitions. It is used for emphasis, to create a memorable rhythm, and to heighten the emotional impact of a statement. For real, you tell me this, for real? (I see, what you did there, I see.) Join join and Kurt as they explore this fun and oft used tool. Rad, that is rad.
