About Sandra Elliott With over 30 years teaching experience, Sandra has also been enjoying her role as a course conductor and examiner with Acrobatic Arts since its inception in 2012. She assisted in developing the Module 1 Teacher's Certification Course. In addition, she developed the Graduate Student Teacher's Certification course, the Adjudicator Certification for AcroDancecourse and the Pin Examiner Certification course. Sandra is a registered teacher with the Royal Academy of Dance and has her Bachelor of Education Degree, with a major in dance. Throughout her teaching career, she has successfully prepared students for all levels of RAD exams. One of her students achieved her Royal Academy of Dance Solo Seal while another student participated in the RAD's Margot Fonteyn International Ballet Competition (formerly ‘The Genee') who later became a member of the Citie Ballet Company and is currently a member of Ballet Kelowna. Sandra has also been closely involved in the training of many students who have gone on to dance in professional shows including The Music Man (Broadway), Radio City Music Hall Rockettes, Movin' Out (Canadian Tour), Cirque Du Soleil (Las Vegas), So You Think You Can Dance Canada, Celine Dion and Taylor Swift. One of those students was the 2013 winner of UK's Got To Dance and a competitor in World of Dance Season 2. He is currently running his own contemporary company ‘Untitled' out of the UK. Sandra's choreography has won many overall, title and choreography awards. She is passionate about not only developing artistic dancers that have excellent technique but she also loves helping dancers to understand how the things they learn in dance can translate into their personal lives helping them to push themselves to be the best they can be. Biennāle tika iedibināta 2016. gadā un šobrīd piedzīvojam jau piekto biennāli. Un šeit ir izstāde, kurai arī ir saikne ar šo Martinsona balvu, jo šī balva ir centrālais notikums biennālē. Un tradīcija pēdējos gados ir iedibinājusies tāda, ka zelta godalgu saņēmēji nākamajā biennālē īsteno personālizstādes projektu, un tieši šādu projektu šobrīd redzam šeit, Martinsona mājā, un to ir veidojusi iepriekšējās biennāles uzvarētāja no Latvijas Sanita Ābelīte, un projektam ir dots brīnišķīgs nosaukums „Radījumi”. Tikmēr Rotko muzejā apmeklētājus gaida 2023. gada keramikas biennāles starptautiskās Zelta godalgas ieguvējas – lietuviešu mākslinieces Milenas Pirštelienes izstāde ar nosaukumu „Sērkociņš smiltīs”, to ieskicē izstādes kurators Aivars Baranovskis. Rotko muzeja rudens sezonas izstādes apmeklētājiem būs pieejamas līdz 23. novembrim, Piektās Latvijas keramikas biennāles starptautisko konkursa izstādi un izstādi „Sērkociņš smiltīs” varēs baudīt līdz nākamā gada februārim.

In this special episode, we tackle the second half of the 1963 epic, Cleopatra.In the first part of this double-header, we tried to keep our focus on Cleopatra and Caesar and the initial challenges faced by #TeamCleo. However, today we get to delve into the second half of the movie when Cleopatra and Antony get it on. This means we finally get to discuss ‘Le Scandale', aka the Taylor-Burton affair that developed on the set once these two clapped eyes on each other. Their passion would result in two broken hearts, a publicity sensation and not one, but TWO, marriages (and divorces).Cleopatra (1963) is a classic example of how the context of a film can shape how the history was received. It's hard not to see some weird parallels between Taylor & Burton and Cleopatra & Antony. We need to work on some couple names before this gets too confusing. Cleotony? Antra? Tayton? Burtay? Das OPEN UPPER 2.0, das Fara Gr4 und die Ornus Gravelbikes aus Eschen-Holz. Dazu ist auch noch das Jeagher FL.S Tornado fertig gworden. Wenn man die Curve-Tests der letzten Wochen noch dazu zählt einfach krasse Bikes, die jedes für sich perfekt abgestimmt sind. Aber warum gibt es nicht „DAS BESTE BIKE“? Warum kann für den einen, ein Holz- oder Titanrad das Beste sein, für den anderen ein Carbon-Renner?
