The ID.4 leads the tally with roughly 901,000 units sold globally, while the brand now looks ahead to four new affordable EVs including the ID. Polo, arriving in 2026.ŠKODA GIVES SUPERB HATCH A 200 KW PHEVŠkoda has unveiled a 200 kW plug-in hybrid for the Superb Hatch, pairing a 1.5 TSI petrol engine with an 85 kW electric motor and a 25.7 kWh battery — making it the most powerful combustion-engine model in Škoda's current lineup. The launch reflects growing demand: one in four Superb models now sells with a PHEV powertrain, and more than 68,000 Superb iV models have been delivered since 2019.CANADA OPENS CHINA-BUILT EV QUOTA AT 6.1% TARIFFCanada began accepting import permit applications from 1 March 2026, allowing up to 49,000 China-built EVs per year to enter at a 6.1% tariff — a sharp cut from the 106.1% rate imposed in 2024 — on a first-come, first-served basis. Tesla, Polestar, and Volvo are considered frontrunners to use the allocation, which Ottawa plans to scale to 70,000 vehicles annually by 2030, with 50% of that expanded quota reserved for EVs below a set price threshold.CUPRA SETS 5 MARCH BORN FACELIFT REVEALCupra will unveil the Born facelift on 5 March, bringing harder-edged front and rear styling that aligns the model visually with the newer Terramar and Tavascan, plus expected interior upgrades including more premium materials and a revised infotainment layout. The refresh matters commercially: the Born has sold nearly 30,000 units in the UK alone since its 2022 launch, and Cupra will also soon introduce the smaller Raval electric hatchback from approximately £23,000.RANGE ROVER VELAR EV SPOTTED ON WINTER TESTA Range Rover Velar EV prototype has been caught in European winter testing, revealing a dramatically reshaped body with a cab-forward stance, angular haunches, and a fastback-leaning roofline that breaks sharply from traditional boxy SUV design. Crucially, it will be the first Jaguar Land Rover model built on the new 800-volt Electric Modular Architecture (EMA) platform, which is engineered to deliver over 300 miles of range and faster charging capability.RIVIAN LAUNCHES RAD PERFORMANCE SUB-BRANDRivian has launched the Rivian Adventure Department (RAD), a dedicated performance sub-brand targeting harder and faster off-road driving that puts it in direct competition with Land Rover's Octa and Ford's Raptor line. RAD formalises the engineering team already responsible for the R1S and R1T Quad Motor variants, giving Rivian's performance ambitions an official identity and a public-facing platform.TESLA TELLS MODEL Y OWNERS TO CHARGE GENTLYTesla has updated the Model Y Owner's Manual to advise owners to rely on home Level 1 or Level 2 charging for daily use — keeping limits at 80% — and to reserve Superchargers for road trips, warning that frequent DC fast charging accelerates long-term battery degradation. For long-term storage, Tesla recommends parking at approximately 50% state of charge and flagging that features like Sentry Mode and Dog Mode can silently drain the battery at roughly 1% per day while the car sits idle.VOLVO PLOTS FASTER ZERO-EMISSION TRUCK PUSHVolvo Group is accelerating its battery-electric heavy truck strategy from a position of strength, holding a 19% share of the European heavy-truck market for the second consecutive year. Its flagship FH Aero Electric packs 780 kWh of batteries for up to 600 km of range and supports megawatt charging that takes the pack from 20% to 80% in just 45 minutes — aligning recharge stops with mandatory driver rest breaks.LYTEN TAKES OVER NORTHVOLT'S SWEDISH BATTERY ASSETSLyten has completed its acquisition of Northvolt's Swedish operations — covering Northvolt Ett, Ett Expansion, and Northvolt Labs — in a deal encompassing nearly $5 billion in book value, 16 GWh of manufacturing capacity, and Europe's largest battery R&D centre. The company plans to restart lithium-ion NMC cell production at the Skellefteå site in the second half of 2026, and will use Northvolt Labs in Västerås to advance its proprietary lithium-sulfur battery technology.BRIM EXPLORER ORDERS TWO ELECTRIC TRIMARANSOslo-based Brim Explorer has signed contracts for two fully electric trimarans — each 24 metres long, carrying 180 passengers — which the firm claims will be the world's most efficient battery-powered vessels upon their spring 2027 delivery. The boats will operate silent, emission-free sightseeing cruises along Norway's coast with a battery-only range of 100 nautical miles at speeds up to 20 knots, expanding Brim's existing five-vessel fleet.

I know, I know, you are asking your podcast player of choice out loud, right now, “WHY IS CHRIS REJECT BACK?” Well, it is simply because we love him. Also, LVAC is having some cool sales right now, so get some stuff printed, will yah?? On this extreme sport filled episode, Reject joins us to discuss two tubular films, Rad and Gleaming the Cube. Look, as much as we like to bust on Chris, the reality is he is a great dude who does great work, and you should make him feel cool by checking out LVAC, or DRYROTT, or SQUARE OF OPPOSITION, or whatever. It was actually pretty fun to talk to Chris again; even if he is a giant asshat, he is also pretty great. Kinda. On this episode, we do our usual Wack and On Track and we spend a bit more time discussing the ways DHS is being used to terrorize innocent people. I want to link to a charity, or a community organization, or an ICE WATCH group, but you should probably find a local one to you. I know things are hard right now; do not give up, we can do this together. Like I said, patronize any one of Chris’s scams — I mean, businesses — and let him know we sent yah so he stops harassing us all the time. Thanks friends, love you. Thanks for listening! Episode 138 welcomes Cole into the Jungle for a conversation that moves with both maturity and edge. From the start, the energy feels reflective but competitive — the kind of dialogue that happens when everyone in the room has something to prove, but also something to protect. The jokes are there, the tension is there, but so is the honesty. The music sets the tone. Jill Scott's To Whom It May Concern brings soul into the space, reminding everyone that grown artistry still holds weight in a culture obsessed with quick hits. A Boogie's Before Artistry sparks a conversation about evolution — what it means to revisit your roots while still trying to elevate. Brent Faiyaz's ICON keeps the R&B energy flowing, leading to a debate about confidence versus arrogance and whether modern crooners are building legacy or just moments. Then the headlines hit.LaRussell's critique of Lil Wayne's music opens a bigger conversation about generational respect — when does critique become disrespect, and who gets to judge legends? Larry Wheels smacking Fiyah out of Deen The Great turns into a broader discussion about discipline, viral moments, and the line between entertainment and real-life consequences. The passing of Jesse Jackson shifts the tone entirely, bringing reflection on legacy, activism, and how quickly history gets rewritten. And the announcement of Tyson versus Mayweather potentially happening sends the room into full debate mode — spectacle or serious sport, and who actually benefits from these cross-era matchups? As always, the Jungle saves its sharpest edges for the relationship talk. The first question hits hard: if the sex is incredible but everything else about your partner is chaos, are you staying or eventually choosing peace? The conversation turns personal as stories surface about competing for someone's attention — ego, insecurity, and pride all colliding in real time. Then it gets nuanced: can your partner keep a private folder of intimate memories, or does secrecy automatically create suspicion? And finally, the episode closes on ambition — does your partner need to match your level of drive, or can imbalance in ambition slowly erode attraction over time?Episode 138 feels layered — part grown conversation, part competitive energy, part cultural breakdown. It's introspective but still wild, thoughtful but still unfiltered.Welcome back to the Jungle.—Subscribe: YouTube.com/@JSCNetwork_ Follow: @thejunglesquadcast Ape Loso – @apeishere_ Rad – @radical_jl Rahh – @_rahhbanks Guest: Cole#JungleSquadCast #Episode138 #BrentFaiyaz #ABoogie #JillScott #LaRussell #MikeTyson #FloydMayweather #RelationshipTalk #PodcastCulture

What starts as a random music discovery turns into a full-on time capsule. When Woody stumbles onto “Sit Still” by Christopher Stopa, he's convinced it's a long-lost Radiohead track - until a deep dive reveals a whole other story behind the voice, the song, and the artist who stepped away from music entirely. That rabbit hole leads us to a bigger conversation about forgotten songs, near-misses, and the strange afterlife of art on the internet. And because this is us… we take a risk...We cold-call Christopher Stopa's bakery in Toronto, live on the show, with no idea if he'll answer. We just want to talk about the song's brief viral moment, stepping away from music, and whether creativity ever really leaves you. That rabbit hole leads us back to 1993 and the iconic compilation "NO ALTERNATIVE "- a snapshot of alternative culture right before everything splintered into subgenres. We unpack how No Alternative came together as an HIV/AIDS benefit, why it felt bigger than “just a compilation,” and how it captured the last quiet moment before the alternative explosion changed everything. Then we dive into the hidden Nirvana track at the end of the album - Woody's favorite Nirvana song of all time, “Verse Chorus Verse” (aka “Sappy”) - and the strange history behind its many versions, title changes, and why it was left off In Utero. We couldn't end there without Tyler leading us into his "CONSPIRACY CORNER"! He dives into brand new information about Kurt Cobain's death that came out a few days ago and into the theories, conspiracies, and strange mysterious facts about the end of a rock legend. This episode is about:The music that finds you when you aren't looking for it.The albums that become mile markers in your life. The songs that stick with you long after the era that made them.If you miss cruising the aisle of your favorite music store or trying to be the first to discover your new favorite band...this one's for you.Stay curious.Stay weird.Be Forever Rad.CONNECT WITH US:

Uprkos povremenoj melanholiji usled promišljanja o društvenim okolnostima, duh razgovora ostaje duboko inspirativan, ističući nepresušnu ljudsku potrebu za stvaranjem, deljenjem znanja, prilagođavanjem novim formatima (poput društvenih mreža) i pronalaženjem svetla kroz kreativni rad.

Our guest today is the choreographer Sonia Sabri – dance changed her life, and now she uses it to change others. Sonia grew up in Wolverhampton, UK, in a traditional Indian family. Unusually her parents supported her dancing: her dad hoped she might conquer Bollywood, but instead, she devoted herself to kathak, which helped her withstand disapproval and bullying. Alongside her international career, her teaching reinforces the power of sharing dance – building not just steps, but self-belief. Our conversation touches on mental health and domestic abuse – Sonia has helped students change their lives in ways she would never have predicted. Sonia Sabri MBE is a multi-award-winning dance artist, choreographer and movement director and Artistic Director of Sonia Sabri Company (SSC). One of the world's leading Kathak dance artists, her work explores both the classical roots of Kathak and contemporary approaches, reflecting Western and Eastern cultures. In 2022, she was associate choreographer for Wondrous Stories, launching Birmingham Festival Commonwealth Games, and for the Opening Ceremony. SSC is an Associate Artist at Birmingham Hippodrome and Sonia is Creative Resident at Curve. Sonia Sabri Company https://ssco.org.uk/Why Dance Matters is a dance podcast featuring inspiring conversations with extraordinary people from the world of dance and beyond. Hosted by David Jays, editor of Dance Gazette, this podcast explores how dance shapes lives and why it matters to us all. Episode 137 brings a familiar voice back into the Jungle as Kay Bunnie returns to the den. This time, it's deeper, looser, and more reflective — a mix of laughter, honest tension, and late-night energy that only someone who's lived the highs and lows of digital culture can bring. Before the topics take over, the squad revisits the vibes from the 2026 Super Bowl performance that had everybody talking — from the visuals to the impact, the aftermath, and what it means when culture and spectacle intersect.Once the room gets warmed up, the music conversation flows naturally into the rhythm of connection and attraction. The beat becomes the backdrop for honesty, and the questions get sharper, the laughs get louder, and the truths get unfiltered. In the Trendy segment this time around, current headlines become problematics, sparking debate about where influence, accountability, and entertainment collide. The squad doesn't just mention what happened — they break down what it means that culture keeps evolving faster than we can process it, and why some moments resonate louder than others. But the heart of Episode 137 lives in the relationship talk — where the Jungle always gets real. The first question opens the door to a deeper exploration of connection: in today's world, are people more comfortable forming romantic bonds through social media, or does real-life chemistry still hold the crown? The conversation doesn't stop there. Kay and the squad dig into whether emotional maturity and communication are more important now than sexual chemistry or physical attraction, especially as expectations around relationships evolve. They also revisit the topic of middlemen in modern dating — when forming new connections, is it common to lean on a friend to make that first introduction, and what does that say about confidence, intention, and the way we navigate vulnerability in 2026?Kay's return isn't just a guest spot — it's a reminder that the Jungle is ever-changing, just like the people in it. What starts as conversation ends up feeling like reflection — on culture, connection, and how we show up for each other in spaces that constantly shift under our feet.Episode 137 is insightful, provocative, hilarious, and unfiltered — exactly the energy the Jungle demands.Welcome back to the Jungle.—Subscribe: YouTube.com/@JSCNetwork_ Follow: @thejunglesquadcast Ape Loso – @apeishere_ Rad – @radical_jl Rahh – @_rahhbanks Guest: Kay Bunnie#JungleSquadCast #Episode137 #KayBunnie #SuperBowl2026 #RelationshipTalk #PodcastUnfiltered #CultureDebate

We talk honestly about why the break happened, what the time away did for us creatively, and what it felt like to come back and hit record again. From there, we dive back into Hawkins one last time. With some distance from the finale of Stranger Things, we share our final thoughts on how the series ended — what worked, what didn't, what hit us emotionally, and which moments still stick with us now that the dust has settled. We also revisit the internet-fueled frenzy around the so-called “secret final episode” and the conformity gate mystery — the theories, the supposed clues, and whether or not we think there's anything left to uncover… or if this is just what happens when a show ends and people aren't ready to let go yet.And then… we open the vault. As a bonus for everyone on the main feed, we're including a full hour from our Patreon, recorded back when only the first half of the final season had dropped. You'll hear our raw, unfiltered reactions, wild theories, emotional predictions, and absolute confidence about where the story was headed. Some of those predictions were…Let's just say the Demogorgons are laughing at us.This episode is less about solving mysteries…and more about revisiting them. The theories we built. The excitement we felt. The way stories pull us in, chew us up emotionally, and leave us staring at the credits, not quite ready to move on.If you've ever gone a little too deep into Reddit threads, paused a scene to hunt for clues, or convinced yourself that there has to be more…This one's for you.IT FEELS SO GOOD TO SAY..."We're back."Season 6 officially kicks off next week. And we're ready to start getting weird again.Stay curious.Stay spooky.Stay forever rad.CONNECT WITH US:

Episode 136 brings a familiar internet voice into the Jungle as Just AJ, also known as Mr. “Put The Camera Down,” steps into the den. Known for his sharp commentary and viral presence, AJ carries a perspective shaped by watching culture unfold in real time — and calling it out when necessary. From the moment the mics go live, the conversation balances humor with critique, as we unpack what it means to observe the world through a lens while reminding people to actually live in it.The music segment opens with DaBaby's “Be More Grateful,” sparking a conversation about growth, accountability, and whether artists can truly reset public perception once it shifts. Don Toliver's “Octane” shifts the energy into vibe-heavy territory, leading to debate about mood music versus message-driven records. Rod Wave's “Feed The Streets” closes out the run with emotional weight, prompting discussion about pain rap, relatability, and why vulnerability continues to dominate streaming culture. From there, the episode pivots into heavier territory. The release of the Epstein files — with high-profile names like Jay-Z and Bill Gates circulating in headlines — brings serious conversation about allegations, public reaction, and how quickly narratives spiral in the digital age. The possibility of Lil Baby versus Akademiks escalates into a larger talk about rap media, artist-journalist tension, and how commentary platforms have become power players in hip hop. The Grammys re-enter the discussion as well, raising familiar but necessary questions about credibility, industry politics, and whether award shows still reflect the culture or just perform for it.As always, the episode finds its heartbeat in the relationship segment. The squad revisits a question that only got surface-level treatment before: in today's world, are people more comfortable forming connections through social media or face-to-face? What are we gaining — and losing — when DMs replace eye contact? The conversation deepens as we ask whether emotional maturity and communication now outweigh sexual chemistry and physical attraction when building something real. And finally, we unpack a dynamic that doesn't get talked about enough — when forming a new connection, is it normal to use a middleman to bridge the gap, or does that already say something about confidence and intention?Episode 136 blends internet awareness with real-world introspection.
