Hour 1 Jerry is in for Boomer today so it's Gio and Jerry. We start with the Aaron Rodgers news from yesterday, where a CNN reporter claimed that in 2013, while at the Kentucky Derby, Rodgers told her he didn't think the Sandy Hook shootings really took place. Gio does not believe that Rodgers really believes those shootings didn't happen. We also talked about the time Rodgers talked to a rookie QB in Green Bay about 9/11 being a conspiracy. Gio also doesn't think Rodgers really believes that. C-Lo is here for his first update but first Gio wanted to go over the heated discussion on the Warm Up Show between Al and C-Lo. Mike Francesa has an interesting way of pronouncing David Bakhtiari's name. We heard Jerry Recco on the call as Rutgers lost to Maryland. In the final segment of the hour, Aaron Rodgers has not been able to comment on these things since he's on an ayahuasca retreat.  Hour 2 Gio heard an interesting sports minute on NCAA women's hoops. J.R. referenced Caitlin Clark, Angel Reese and ‘the giant Brazilian woman from South Carolina that knocks people over'. Gio thinks Joe Douglas has done a great job filling up the offensive line this offseason. Gio also doesn't want David Bakhtiari coming here even though he's Rodgers' friend. It doesn't really feel like Super Bowl or bust now with the Jets. Rodgers has said he wants to play 4 or more years. A caller wonders who on the show Gio would eat if he had to in order to survive. C-Lo returns for an update but first we talked about our next live show. Tickets for Jersey City's White Eagle Hall go on sale at 8am today. C-Lo wonders what will happen if there's a Rangers playoff game. C-Lo has audio of Al taking calls on the Warm Up Show. He also has audio of somebody peppering Gerrit Cole with questions while he's at the airport in Los Angeles. In the final segment of the hour, we talked about window washers in NYC and what a terrifying job it is. Hour 3 A CNN reporter claims that Aaron Rodgers told her in 2013 that he didn't think the Sandy Hook tragedy happened. Gio referenced a tweet by Shaun Morash on the topic and then Shaun tweeted that he doesn't like that the Jets reporters never asked him about his 9/11 conspiracies. C-Lo returns for an update and starts with BT & Sal audio from the breaking news that Gerrit Cole was going to see a doctor who's name they can't pronounce. Sal also has no idea who Robert F. Kennedy Jr is.Evan Roberts explained why he would pat his penis dry after peeing. Gio shoots holes in Evan's theory. In the final segment of the hour, we talked about Gerrit Cole going out to L.A. to see a doctor about his elbow. Jerry said as long as Cole is not going to miss the entire season, this shouldn't really hurt the Yankees.  Hour 4 A listener sent a tweet to Gio. It's from Al back in 2011 referencing wanting to have toilet paper near the urinal to pat your penis after urinating. A caller said he saw a pic of Joe Benigno with Rob Saleh as Joe was presenting him with Omaha Steaks. C-Lo returns for his final update of the day Reggie Jackson crashed the SNY booth and caught Steve Gelbs off guard. Brandon Tierney said Aaron Rodgers better figure out what he's doing before OTAs begin. Jason Kelce talked about Saquon entering a great situation in Philadelphia. Captain Liz Clark traveled over 20,000 miles Sailing to Surf and explore and wrote a book called Swell – a sailing surfer’s voyage of awakening. She is an incredibly gifted writer, a legit waterwoman, her first mate was a rescued Cat Amelia the Tropicat, and she absolutely rips as a surfer! She also has the most sweet and gentle energy and is a genuinely kind human committed to Loving our planet & animals completely. I discuss her book a lot amongst my friends and on this podcast because she illustrates so well through her writing the parallels of wellness maintenance of her vessel (her boat) and her human vessel and spirit. We recorded this episode in February 2020 with Liz live from the Island of Tahiti in French Polynesia. We had a bit of sound quality issues but I think it makes the recording sound so exotic!!! Today is April 1 2020 and I am referencing the date because a lot has happened and escalated in the world since our recording in February. We are globally and collectively experiencing a health pandemic so surreal it feels like an awful sci fi movie or an April fool’s joke! The Corona Virus – something that has us on lock down, quarantined and practicing something called social distancing. This virus is not only affecting our physical health – it is seriously affecting the mental health of so many. This podcast episode is SO timely!!!! This is Liz’s post on Instagram regarding our current situation: "Stormy times we’re in, my friends. Ironically, our Oneness is more evident than ever, even though the most compassionate action we can take right now is to stay separated from others. Self-quarantine reminds me a lot of a sea passage. Time slows down, you become very present. Simple daily tasks take on more meaning. Resources are limited. You deal with the gusts and squalls as they come, because there is too much uncertainty to plan a week or a month out. You just have to appreciate what’s good right now. The angst of hurry is gone, and what a luxury that is in our modern world ... time to stop and reflect on who we are, as individuals, as a society... what would we like to improve on, should we hold this course? Or alter it a few degrees ... or more? Time is a gift these days. May we slow down and enjoy the subtleties that we miss in our constant hurry. And do what we can from our confinement, to help those being severely affected by the virus and its widespread impacts. Beaming love to all, especially the world’s most vulnerable, and our healthcare workers. You are all heroes! " -Liz SO I hope you find inspiration, validation and comfort from this special podcast episode. If you are looking for a great book that you won’t be able to put down read Swell – you will not be disappointed. Make sure you listen to the song at the end of the episode. It is the song Liz chose as her life theme song right now.  Bob Marley’s Coming In From The Cold written by Bob Marley and performed by the uber-talented musician Will Kimbrough…..Thanks Will for cranking this out for me – what an incredible gift! To learn more about Will you can follow him on Instagram, Facebook or www.willkimbrough.com . Captain Liz Clark’s book may have an ending but her story does not!!!! Living on the Island of Tahiti in French Polynesia she is currently spearheading and a part of new organizations that will make the world a better, healthier, more beautiful place. Keep following her journey through the following links. Thanks, Liz, for all you do for planet earth and those that inhabit it. You are a genuinely kind and epic human!!
