It's finally arrived, Riverdale Chapter 35 "Brave New World", and Kyle and Noah are here to discuss! Jughead lives, but the Serpents are worse for the wear, and with Sheriff Minetta moving on the White Wyrm, they make their escape to the Northside of Riverdale, welcomed by Archie and Fred Andrews. Betty struggles with the guilt of her father being the Black Hood and understanding the Darkness within her, while Polly makes a mysterious play for the members of The Farm. Veronica attempts to block her father's acquisition of the White Wyrm, striking a deal for Pop's Chock'lit Shoppe. Finally, Archie rallies the students of Riverdale High to keep the Serpents in school, confronts Hiram Lodge about all he knows, and is then struck down as he reaches his peak. All this, plus general thoughts on Season 2, some unapproachable RPG talk, and general plans for Sabrina and Season 3! Noah and Kyle are in the penultimate episode of Riverdale Season 2 with Chapter 34 "Judgement Night"! As riots breakout in Riverdale Betty tracks her father, Hal, through the chaos to a final showdown. Archie and Jughead try to keep the peace between the Bulldogs and the Serpents, but the arrival of Penny Peabody and the Ghoulies throws a wrench into the works. Meanwhile, Veronica confronts her mother with evidence of her father's nefarious schemes and the son of Papa Poutine arrives for revenge. All this plus Cheryl wielding a bow, the reveal of the Black Hood, and a sacrifice made in vain!

Fatigue sets in for Kyle and Noah in Riverdale Chapter 33 "Shadow of a Doubt". As the return of the Black Hood looms over Riverdale Betty struggles with the realization that her father just might be the man under the hood. Meanwhile, Fangs Fogarty is implicated in the murder of Midge Klump, leading to Jughead and the Serpents having to protect him from Reggie and the Bulldogs, as Hiram Lodge pulls their strings. Archie attempts to ease the tension between the North and Southside factions, driving a further wedge between him and Hiram. Finally, Veronica attempts to use the St.Clair's ransom money to fund a casino in Riverdale. All this plus more Archie cuckoldry and exasperated sighs!

After a brief break due to sickness we're back with Riverdale Chapters 31 "A Night to Remember" and 32 "Prisoners." As Riverdale High preps for their production of "Carrie: The Musical" the looming threat of the Black Hood returns, ending the life of one poor student. As Riverdale reels in the wake, scumbag Nick St.Clair returns to ransom Archie from the Lodges, and Betty and Jughead discover the truth behind Chic, and possibly the true identity of the Black Hood.

It's Maple Syrup, Blood Money's 1 year anniversary, and Kyle and Noah are here with a new take on Riverdale! Some might call it impenetrable, but we have a good time anyway! Learn about the mystical town of Riverdale and its eldritch underbelly, influencing its citizens for their own nefarious purposes! Listen as the boys plot out a season of dark magic, Horny Evil Gods, and time traveling redheads! Kyle and Noah showdown in Outworld for Riverdale Chapter 30 "The Noose Tightens"! While Archie neglects his family obligations to work for Hiram Lodge, the Coopers scramble to deal with the recently rediscovered Shady Man's car and fall prey to a nefarious threat. Meanwhile Toni, Veronica, and Josie confront Penelope Blossom about the recently missing Cheryl, and after receiving a hint from an unlikely source, set out on a stealth mission to free her from The Sisters of Quiet Mercy. Also this episode, the Lin Kuei arrive in Riverdale, Keyhole and Shear sweaters as tactical attire, and methheads!

After a brief hiatus Noah and Kyle are back for another Double-Feature! The boys cover Riverdale Chapters 28, "There Will Be Blood," and 29, "Primary Colors," back-to-back, delving into the machinations of the Lodge Family and their plans for the Southside of Riverdale. Jughead discovers the Lodges plan to build a For-Profit Prison on the site of Southside High School, while they try to convince Fred Andrews to become Mayor, much to Archie's concern. Betty discovers the truth about Chic, and Cheryl's relationship with Toni grows as a sinister plot boils in Thistlehouse!

After a short break Noah and Kyle are back for Riverdale Chapter 27 "The Hills Have Eyes"! While Archie, Jughead, Betty, and Veronica get away to the woods for a horny, horny weekend, and some much needed relaxation, Cheryl deals with her mother's cruel nature and grows closer to an unexpected friend. Meanwhile, Kevin must deal with his loneliness and the sudden revelation from Josie of their parent's affair. Also, prepare yourself for Love, Simon, in theaters March 16th, and some reeeeaaal gross magical items!

The blood is on our hands as Noah and Kyle recap Riverdale Chapter 26 "The Tell-Tale Heart." Betty and Alice must rush to hide the body of the Shady Man, leaving Betty to wonder about Chic's true nature. Jughead and FP get drawn into the affair as the Cooper women have nowhere else to turn. Veronica heads off her parent's attempt to discredit Mayor McCoy. Finally, Archie must decide where his loyalties lie; with the mysterious Agent Adams, or with the Lodges, and their underworld dealings.

Noah and Kyle breakdown Riverdale Chapter 25 "The Wicked and The Divine" in this week's episode of Maple Syrup, Blood Money! As Archie fights to get closer to Hiram Lodge he risks falling into his illicit world of underground dealings and deadly partnerships. Veronica struggles with the guilt of drawing Archie into this new, dangerous life and attempting to keep him innocent. Meanwhile, Jughead and Betty search for the head of General Pickens' statue in order to exonerate the Southside Serpents of wrongdoing, but the return of the Snake Charmer, Penny Peabody, leads Jug into hot water that he may not be able to escape.

Maple Syrup, Blood Money is back after a brief hiatus for Episode 28, The MSBM Double-Feature! Noah and Kyle return to talk the latest two episodes of Riverdale, Chapter 23 "The Blackboard Jungle" and Chapter 24 "The Wrestler". A lot has happened in Riverdale since the Black Hood met his end; Hiram Lodge efforts to expand his SoDale project continue full-steam, seemingly aided by Veronica. Archie is wrangled by the mysterious FBI agent Arthur Adams to collect evidence that Lodge Industries is up to no good. Meanwhile Jughead and the Southside Serpents are relocated to Riverdale High, facing discrimination and prejudice from the students and faculty. Finally, Betty seeks her long-lost brother, Chic, and though Alice is excited for his return, something dark lurks within the Cooper household. It's good to be back!

Happy New Year from Maple Syrup, Blood Money! Kyle and Noah team-up to tackle the legendary crossover of Frank Castle and Archie Andrews in "The Punisher meets Archie." It's a case of mistaken identity as The Punisher arrives in the idyllic town of Riverdale, confusing Archie for his latest quarry! Meanwhile the elusive criminal Red Fever sets his sights on the beautiful Veronica Lodge, and her father's copius wealth! What will Archie do to escape the deadly sights of The Punisher and rescue Veronica? Will Frank realize his mistake before it's too late? Find out in this weeks episode!

Happy holidays from Maple Syrup, Blood Money! Noah and Kyle break down Riverdale Chapter 22 "Silent Night, Deadly Night", the festive conclusion to the Black Hood arc! Jughead is dead set on helping the Serpents and stopping Penny Peabody from dealing drugs, Veronica clashes once again with her parents and the nature of Lodge Industries, Cheryl takes Christmas festivities into her own hands, and finally, Betty and Archie are sent on a wild chase into Mr. Svenson's dark past in order to save him and, ultimately, face-to-face with the Black Hood himself. Who is the Black Hood? Is his reign of terror finally at an end? What dark secrets does Nana Rose Blossom know, and how did she survive that fire? Listen and find out!

Kyle and Noah enter Satan's abode in Riverdale Chapter 21 "House of the Devil". Betty and Jughead plan FP's return party, while Archie and Veronica investigate the mysterious Conway Family murders in connection to the Black Hood. But, all is not well, and tensions rise between the young lovers, Will they have what it takes to make it through or is this the end? Also, a striptease to Tears For Fears "Mad World" happens, like wtf?

It's a trio of tales in Riverdale Chapter 20 "Tales from the Darkside" and it's Noah and Kyle's job to talk about em! Josie and Cheryl deal with Josie's stalker, is it Chuck Clayton? The mysterious janitor, Mr. Svensson? Or is it somebody else? Meanwhile, Betty and Veronica investigate Sheriff Keller, who's shady behavior have him on the short list of Black Hood suspects. Veronica (and Kyle) get extremely thirsty. Finally, Jughead and Archie have to transport some illicit goods from Riverdale to the eerie town of Greendale for Penny Peabody, the Snake Charmer, in order to help get FP out of prison, or so they think. All that, plus current season thoughts, and news of Sabrina and her show!

Noah and Kyle laugh it up in this weeks episode as they recap Riverdale Chapter 19, Death Proof! Veronica seeks justice on Nick St. Claire, Jughead and Archie race the Ghoulies for the Southside Serpent's territory, and Betty searches for the elusive Sugar Man, the dealer behind the Jingle-Jangle plaguing Riverdale, finding an unexpected source in Cheryl Blossom. Discussion of ghastly possessed arms, and crayon drawings also happens!

Kyle and Noah breakdown the eventful Riverdale Chapter 18, When a Stranger Calls! Jughead steps up to join the Southside Serpents to keep them from destroying themselves, Veronica deals with a shady character from her bad girl past, and Betty begins down a dark path in hopes of stopping the sinister Black Hood!

It's the hard backdown in Chapter 17 of Riverdale, The Town That Dreaded Sundown! Noah and Kyle discuss Archie's poorly thought out plans to draw out the Black Hood, the growing tension between the Northside and Southside, and how Betty and Jughead are doing the real work deciphering the Black Hood latest message! Get ready for a rain-soaked showdown as the Riverdale Bulldogs and Southside Serpents clash!

Kevin Keller is front and center in Riverdale, Chapter 16 The Watcher in The Woods! Noah and Kyle breakdown Jughead's acclimation to Southside High, Veronica's struggle to see behind her father's curtain, Kevin and Betty battling over his dangerous romance descisions, and Archie forming a vigilante group called the Red Circle to combat the mysterious killer calling himself The Black Hood. Wait... what?

Kyle and Noah try something a little different for Riverdale Chapter 15, Nighthawks, let us know what you think! SEASON 2 STARTS HERE! Noah and Kyle are back, and feeling streamlined for Season 2 of Riverdale! Archie rushes his father to the hospital after the confrontation at Pop's Chock'lit Shoppe, and the search begins for the perpetrator. Jughead and Betty wrestle with Jug's newfound relationship with the Southside Serpents, while Cheryl Blossom takes control of the Blossom family, and something sinister brews across Sweetwater River in the little town of Greendale, all in Chapter 14 "A Kiss Before Dying".

With the recent announcement of a new Sabrina the Teenage Witch show, Kyle and Noah sit down with Chris Hamann, of The Roleplaying Exchange and Literary Spite, to talk about the first volume of Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, their hopes for the new Sabrina show, and discovering porn magazines in the woods. It all comes down to this, Riverdale, Chapter 13 "The Sweet Hereafter." Kyle and Noah jump head long into the Season 1 finale in this extra length episode of Maple Syrup, Blood Money. With the discovery of who killed Jason Blossom, Riverdale is shaken to it's core and Mayor McCoy, looking to save face, pushes forward with the town's 75th anniversary jubilee, forcing Archie and Betty into the limelight. Meanwhile, Cheryl Blossom deals with the remnants of her shattered family, taking drastic measures in the process. Finally, Jughead is forced to a new school in the Southside of Riverdale, bringing with it new challenges and new allegiances. As a side note, with Season 1 over MSBM will be slowing it's upload schedule, though we have plenty more to come with guest episodes and discussion of the recent Archie Comics titles.

After some recording snafus it's take 2 on Episode 12 of Maple Syrup, Blood Money! Noah and Kyle breakdown and discuss the penultimate chapter of Riverdale season 1, "Anatomy of a Murder". With Jughead's dad in custody, Archie and the gang search for evidence of his innocence, a shocking truth is exposed about the Blossom's and Cooper's blood feud, and the revelation of who killed Jason Blossom is brought to light!

Things are coming to a head in Riverdale as Kyle and Noah discuss Chapter 11 "To Riverdale and Back Again." With Homecoming looming over the gang, tensions rise in the investigation of Jason Blossom's murder. Archie and Veronica, unbeknownst to Betty and Jughead, team up with Alice Cooper to investigate FP Jones and any connection he might have to the murder or Hiram Lodge. Meanwhile, Cheryl begins to suspect her parents of some darker motivation in allowing Polly to stay in Thornhill.

Noah and Kyle welcome you to the EPIC RAGER as they discuss Riverdale Chapter 10 "The Lost Weekend". It's Jughead's birthday, but things rapidly get out of control as Cheryl and, the newly returned, Chuck Clayton crash the party. Relationships are tested, accusations fly, and sparks of passion become bonfires! Also, there's a cheerleading dance contest for reasons.
