SettingOur story takes place on the continent of Agwé, on a world that the “Peoples of the Word” call Temman-Jâwé. It is a world of magic and monsters. It is a world of politics and commerce. It is a world of people, varied and complex. The action centers in the coastal nation of Cadraswé, a wealthy feudal state led by The Paramount and his Council of Inheritors. The capital, Cadras, is a bustling port city at the apex of the Bay of the Crescent Maw. The Bay sits on the southern edge of the continent, a region commonly referred to as the Coast of Tongues. The Cadrascont Mountains shield the coastal nation to the west. The Esmeran Mountains shelter its eastern borders along with the Dismal Moor and the unexplored rain forest known as the Goblin'sSmile. North, the flood plains dry and become the Staggerwind Steppes. The House of A Thousand Blossoms, a fortress in the Esmeran Reach, is home to the noble house of Amarazae. The Amarazae, one of eight Heritor Houses, rule the eastern most barony in the Paramountcy. The walled estate is the home where our protagonist's grew up, and to which he and his companions return following the events of season one.Season 1 Recap Jhae'œn Amarazae prepares to leave home forhis Walk, a rite of passage common among the nobility, when he is abducted by a spell casting crime boss named Ressim Kalza. He is subsequently rescued by a pair of veteran mages, Elma Jascari and Gaielle Etomanwé. They discover that the kidnapping is connected to his father's plans around a mysterious artifact found on their lands. Season two picks up just after a harrowing trek from the capital city back home.Present events occur during the 34th Verse in the Chant of the Nak Tahli, or the year 495 by the Cadraswéan calendar. We open, however, three millennia “Before There Was Song,” 3000 years prior to present events. Our prologue takes us even further into the past. To the story of creation. Before the world was sundered…

Yesterday was one of those days that makes you feel like maybe, just maybe, winter is finally over. Here in Seattle, the sun was shining, the cherry trees blossoming, it was in the 60s… And yes, now there are severe thunderstorms and potential tornado level winds heading our way this afternoon. But – once those storms are over, it’ll be the perfect time to get back out into the garden and clean up the mess those winds will have left behind. And maybe even start planning your planting for the season. And we’re here to help. Beekeeping has evolved significantly over the years, and few innovations have sparked as much conversation as the Flow Hive. In this episode, Jeff and Becky welcome back Flow Hive co-founder, Cedar Anderson, who shares exciting updates on their latest innovation—the Superlifter. Designed to make hive inspections easier and more accessible for beekeepers of all experience levels, the Superlifter allows for effortless lifting of heavy honey supers, reducing strain on beekeepers' backs and improving hive management. Cedar shares the journey behind this invention, including years of prototyping and refining the design. With a simple, easy-to-use system, the Superlifter works with any Langstroth hive—making it a game-changer for beekeepers who struggle with heavy lifting. Jeff and Becky discuss how this tool could revolutionize hive inspections, especially for beekeepers with physical limitations. Beyond product development, Cedar dives into Flow Hive's commitment to education and sustainability, including the Billions of Blossoms initiative, which has already resulted in the planting of over 1.5 million trees to restore pollinator habitats. The team at Flow Hive continues to expand its educational offerings through TheBeekeeper.org, helping both new and experienced beekeepers improve their skills. Join us for this insightful conversation about the intersection of innovation, sustainability, and making beekeeping more accessible to all. Whether you use a Flow Hive or a traditional Langstroth setup, this episode offers valuable insights into how technology and creative problem-solving can enhance your beekeeping experience. Hiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii. Blossoms are joined by (most of) the Inhaler boys. The Dublin lads discuss their time on the road during their most recent UK tour which was sadly cut short by illness. Blossoms and Inhaler also reminisce on their memories they've shared together, including go-karting fueds and Sleaford Mods beef. They also look forward to touring Europe and summer shows where they'll be sharing the stage. Keep your thoughts and questions coming to blossomspubcast@gmail.com Hosted on Acast.
