This is the freestyle meditation from Episode 3! Meditate anytime without having to skip through the episode. When meditating especially during this one remember that your mind wandering is normal. You’re human & it’s supposed to happen. Use this as a tool to bring yourself back , every time you wander, meet yourself with compassion when it’s time to come back. No judgment- just observe , don’t dwell on your thoughts outside of this but just let them come & go. Use this meditation as much as you need. When frustrated it’s so easy to stay there, instead let’s take a trip to our happy place
This episode is in celebration of my first birthday alongside my daughter & features a freestyle meditation to rid annoyance, frustration and etc. When doing this meditation do remember that your mind wandering is normal

Welcome back to the podcast. I am so excited to speak about our rebranding and give you some insight into why I decided to rebrand. This journey has been beautiful. The podcast is the same just even better! I have so much more clarity on the brand and how I want to do things. With experience comes wisdom. Sometimes you truly don't know until you do it. When I first started this podcast, I literally knew nothing about podcasting. I had done some research and knew legit ONLY the basics. Finding Anchor was amazing. I just knew that I was no longer allowing anything or anyone to hold me back, I was now an example for my daughter as well so yeahhhh, no way! My mantra this year was " Just DO it", it helped me get comfortable with knowing that the beginning is messy. You sort of just suck in a way until you find your flow. I knew this would be a community but what I didn't know was that we would be a growing community-so fast and people all over the world would support. As I welcomed more guests in, I realized I needed a better system for guest episodes. I had to work on so many different moving pieces for this podcast and the more I did and do, the more I learn. Breathe gives a clearer view for you and for me. Just remember to BREATHE. Enjoy this episode and go visit our new Instagram @breathepodcast and find our Page on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/breathepodcast1/?modal=admin_todo_tour . The whole point of rebranding is to improve and I must say I love how everything was made new. Watch social media to see new additions to the store and how beautiful the Breathe store looks. Our email list will begin in January so make sure you submit your email before then. There will be an episode about store items and the email list coming soon. Thank you for being apart of this community. Sending you love and light. --- Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/breathe/support
This small conversation episode features our first special guest who currently resides in another country! Davida Ginter is a burnout specialist! She’s traveled the world to study burnout in entrepreneurs and change makers! Make sure you take a look at her new book, Burning Out Won’t Get You There. About Burning Out Won't Get You There: Busyness, judgment, resistance to change, fear of admitting failure – do changemakers have to suffer to reduce world suffering? Or is there a way to avoid burnout? Leaders and changemakers dedicated to pursuing social change are often the first ones to experience burnout. Those committed to taking care of everyone and everything tend to neglect themselves and hit the wall, time after time. Davida Ginter’s book sheds light on the growing phenomenon of burnout and its root causes. She has interviewed changemakers and social change experts from around the world about their personal experiences on entrepreneurship, leadership, and mindfulness, and she offers comprehensive guidance, approaches, and tools to help cultivate personal and social wellbeing. You are worth the investment of time... included in this episode is a self reflection exercise from the soon to be released gratitude journal. It uses self reflection as a tool to meet your journey with gratitude. Self reflection is only meant to help you. It teaches you about YOU. Reflect on your behavior, actions, responses. It is not for self judgement, negative self criticism or anything of that nature. Be sure to begin your self reflection knowing that you can’t change what past versions of yourself have done. You can only LEARN from it. Make sure you watch the blog mjwrites21.blogspot.com this Friday! Self reflection helps you dive into self and I wish you the best as you do so! Im so excited to have our first Situation Saturday!! In this episode we have a recent guest of ours Myles Darius sharing the craziest situation he’s ever been in with a friend and it’s seriously hilarious! This shows how crazy freshman year of college can get
This affirmation episode is focused around defeating self doubt, comparison, and improving your confidence and self trust. Everyone can use a boost! EVERYONE ! ❤️ These affirmations were of course based off of the last small conversation ft Myles Darius give it a listen
In this episode our special guest is Myles Darius. He’s the founder of ysd apparel and a good friend of mine. This episode discusses the story behind ysd apparel, helps you get to know Myles a little better and drops some tips for people who are hesitant about taking the leap of faith and believing in their dreams. Sharing experience is so powerful
This Affirmations Episode is to address the feelings we talked about in the ⚠️Sensitive Content ⚠️ episode and addressing our mental health generally. This affirmations episode is meant to help you speak over yourself positively and realize your own habits that affect your mental. Everything you say is an affirmation , a declaration of the person you are. Sometimes we just need a shift in our focus. Some ways to remind ourselves that we are worth it and amazing regardless. Mental Health Awareness Month isn’t the only time we should pay attention. Make sure you tune in for our next meditation because it will be so special! We have an amazing interview coming and an amazing woman of color leading us in that meditation
This episode speaks on my personal experience with mental health in many ways although not all. I speak on sexual assault, panic anxiety, depression and more. If you are not in a space to listen please DONT. It is ok, it won’t go away and will be here when you’re ready. I also share how this episode was actually prerecorded a while ago but my inner self critic got to me due to everything I started to face and go through myself over the course of this month. I am human just as you
We’re done ridding our distractions woohooo. In this episode I speak about meditation and it’s benefits, where I started, where you can begin and some common myths. As a young black girl being introduced to meditation almost four years ago was like a new foreign language I’d never heard of. Thinking that just as many other things meditation was only for “certain kinds of people” due to the way it’s depicted in modern society. Here’s where that barrier breaks, shatters actually. I share my personal experience and journey with meditation and share a nice trick to help you gain focus on the current moment and how to get back to it when you stray. The apps I talk about in this episode that I found to be helpful are headspace, breathe, insight timer and my favorite... Calm. Use my link to calm to get a 30 day guest pass I’ve been using a meditation and sleep app called Calm and I think you’d like it, too. Here’s a free 30-day Guest Pass if you want to check it out: https://www.calm.com/gp/29qulb . If you have any comments issues or questions or even anything you’d like to share hit me up on Instagram @julianherpositivity or email me at timeshaconyers@gmail.com. Make sure the subject of the email says the title of the podcast. JournalIT prints will be launched this month I’m super excited! I hope you are too. The journey of self care and self love is never ending always evolving but it’s so fulfilling. Thank you for allowing me to take this journey alongside you no matter where you are in it! Thank you for listening
