Coming back in quarantine. Long time coming, but we discuss what life was like in Mexico, how do we move forward with this virus, and if Nick at Night will move onward.
I was wrong in the beginning, it's actually episode 11 of season 3. An episode done by myself as I discuss at length what the future of this podcast entails. Is it the end? Is there more? I'm not sure but I outline what's going on with Nick at Night.
Not in studio together as the dangerous temperatures outside may kill anyone who sets foot out there. Nick and Chum discuss the brutal elements and putting together an episode real quick to do over the phone. We discuss the many things that happen when it gets to -30 degrees and -100 wind chill in a segment called "you know it's cold when...." Stay warm.
The designer of the logo and a one of a kind artistic talent comes on to our show to discuss his art background, when he first realized he had a gift, and what he's most proud of as an artist. Also discuss his run ins with professional athletes like Odell Beckham Jr. and how his art gets him women. Listener questions include how to deal with a girlfriend who is being a bit "stubborn" and snow driving tips.
We start by discussing why icing injuries may just be a myth. Some human interactions were not good being called out for a private browsing mode. But there was some good as a lady consoled with Nick about his never dying wart. Is it problematic to call yourself the GOAT on your shoes? End the episode with a bonus vent about being right and how you should own the mistake if wrong.
Fliers for Nick at Night are starting to appear all over the state of Wisconsin and we want to know who is responsible. A recurring segment "Is it Problematic?" makes a return for another week featuring a comment on a LeBron James Instagram post. Headline head turners also makes it back for another week which features a homeless man bringing a raccoon carcass into a McDonald's. A big discussion about pickup basketball warriors rounds out our episode as our roundtable is composed of some experienced players themselves.
Start by cleaning up some anonymous questions from last week that we forgot to answer. A lot to digest early discussing how to handle dating in the workplace and some logic is bestowed upon us regarding a man's height compared to a woman's weight. A new segment is introduced called "Headline Head Turners" which talks about a man traveling across the ocean inside of a barrel. Next, a long, probably too long, conversation about shaving. Where one can shave and how that affects one's man card. Round it out venting about slow walkers and a new segment "Is it problematic?"
This is Part 2 of our Christmas holiday special. Two episodes in one week! Not related at all to part 1, in this episode the boys talk about recovering from the holidays in work and in life. We explore tactics and strategies that will allow you to have a smooth transition from holidays back to the real world. Also, Nick was not very PC 11 years ago and the tape shows it. End the episode with a little vent sesh to clear our overworked minds.
Deepest apologies for missing an episode last week but we make up for it with two episodes this week. This is part 1 where we discuss our Christmas giving, Nick was able to dodge a disorderly conduct of a motor vehicle ticket, and some guy just opened up a bag of weed on the sidelines of a basketball game. Progress is being made in getting an interview with an umpire who has worked FIVE WORLD SERIES, Chum deals with a work reprimand, and we tackle viewer questions that may help you in a future Christmas family gathering. Part 2 coming...
We still can't get any guests any we aren't happy about it. Somewhat of a half writers strike but we still dish out that heat. Chum takes us through his Tinder expeditions and we intro some new segments. The human interactions of the week and rants of the week. Nick needs someone to be his therapist so he can vent about life's struggles. We then chew on some absurd viewer questions where we dive into dirty college bromances.
This is the off the cuff episode. No preparation, no notes, no lists, we just shoot the shit right off the top of our minds. This was in response to planned interviews being bailed upon. We have to tackle many listener questions, so thanks for providing content. Beforehand, we dive into our lives. We get deep and personal. Chum discusses his own Tinder experiences and Nick talks love. Some funny reffing stories included, but just overall some unprepared fire.
This is the Season 2 finale. An episode filled with the best moments from this season cut into one episode. A little piece of each episode is included and sure to get a laugh. Enjoy!
Nick is fighting through physical and mental ailments as we put together our shortest podcast to date. Much is covered in limited time including the grind, a shout out to an anonymous donor, and our "favs" of the week. "Favs" include a coach who would not go a full game without using every timeout and a spam bot who was SHUT DOWN. Episode is wrapped up with our Thanksgiving Family Gathering Survival Guide.
