We start a new series on discipleship and we will be following the life of Peter in the gospels to do so. We begin with the disciples' call. Jesus doesn't make mistakes when he makes us his own. He knows you fully and he has great things in store for you.
How does the gospel give us grit to face whatever may come? Paul uses his testimony to teach us three ways we are made tough by the gospel of Jesus Christ.
"Blessed are the peace makers for they shall be called children of God." What does it mean to be a peacemaker? The Book of Philemon shows us the three ways we are called to make peace in the gospel. Who do you need to make peace with?
What does racial reconciliation have to do with the gospel?
We live in between conversion and glory, i.e. the middle. The middle can be a hard place full of dry times and setbacks. How do we make it through the middle? Jesus gives us a Helper who takes us all the way home. Do you have the Helper?
How do we measure spiritual growth? Why is spiritual maturity something that we should all be seeking? In this message we discover the key marks of spiritual growth and are given a vision to help us pursue greater depth and life in Christ.
Prayer is not about technique but about connection. Jesus introduces the Lord's Prayer by revealing how we pray in a way that the Father hears.
