Last season, 21 receivers surpassed 1,000 receiving yards, down from 27 the year before but still impressive. Last year's rookie class featured several budding stars -- one of whom debuted in the top seven and another who pushed for the top 10. Tight ends showed out for their quarterbacks last season, with five players producing between 800 and 1,200 receiving yards (three surpassing 1,100 yards) and seven different tight ends scoring at least seven touchdowns. A versatile tight end can make all the difference for an offense, from yards after catch to stout blocking in the run game. Youth has cornered the market. The changing of the guard , is a big theme in this year's top 7 cornerbacks. Many evaluators complained last year that the league did not feature a true shutdown corner like the ones you see in Hall of Fame induction ceremonies or NFL Films features.
