As we get close to the conclusion of this amazing letter from the apostle Paul, he shows us a bit of his heart. By this time in his ministry, Paul has been very mistreated by many people for his proclamation of the gospel. Words of strong emotions are thrown around today like candy. Something that is likeable is “awesome”.  A new job is “a perfect match”. Even our local weather station has a TOP TEN WEATHER day that they use about 1-2 x per month. One of these words is the word ambition.
