Welcome to You're Still Away! We're two bogey golfers and this is the year we get good at golf! No more regretting golf trips because our games don't hold up; no getting frustrated when we're supposed to be having fun. This year we're on a quest to slash our handicaps in half.
Golf is a very hard, very humbling game. I (we) feel like a broken record, but better course management has to happen and it has to happen soon. Getting a little sick of saying this! But looking for a bright side my bunker play was on point. What really changed that was the visual of hitting UNDER the ball, not behind it. We always hear to hit 2 inches behind it, but that never really made sense to me. Goals For Season 2: We set some lofty goals for Season 1 and we had a fun time building the pot, so we're headed that direction in season 2. Let's lose some weight, get better scores and build that pot! You bet I gamble. Golf Drills: We all have a limited amount of time to practice so it's important to maximize it's purposefulness. What are some drills y'all do that make the best impact? Do you do putting drills? What can improve strokes gained? There's Nothing Worse in Golf There's nothing worse in golf then trying to make the smart decision and then having a crappy result. For example, you step up to a narrow short par 4 so you decide to hit an iron, and then shank it into the woods anyway. Nothing! Worse!
We're so excited to get season 2 started, and really appreciate the support over the first season. We have a ton of cool stuff coming this year with videos, giveaways, and more great podcast episodes. We started off Season 2 with a great trip on the books, but the weather had other plans. Adapt, improvise, overcome. We still had a blast and played some decent golf. Booby Jones Golf Course in Atlanta is a great spot to spend a day golfing. A really cool reversible course, a free par 3 and putting course, a great range and a nice restaurant. On we went to Sweeten's Cove, but unfortunately we'll have to make a trip back because we got flooded out. Tune into this episode and how we improvised this trip, and tune in all season more great episodes.
We wanted to take a quick look back on the season, and see what we've learned. As we all know golf can be an incredible difficult game, but we did had a lot of fun, and it was really cool to document the experience. Golf is Hard What do you find difficult about this crazy game we decided to pursue? Ball striking; wedges, putting, getting off the tee; the mental game? Whatever it is I'm sure we experienced at some time over the season. Check it out and let us know your struggles. We're all in this together. ANd be sure to tune in for season 2, we have a lot of cool episodes coming out in a new format. W also plan on having some more video, and some cool trips planned. We appreciate the support over the season, and we hope you;ll continue to follow along in the future.
It All Comes Down To This The season long race to lower our handicaps and decide a winner was too close to call. If you've followed along this far, thank you! We decided to end the season in true golf fashion and play a match play event at the one and only Tobacco Road. The Sh@nk$ & Bagger Vance Shout out to the assistant pro who worked at Tobacco Road who helped calm me down and gave me a great drill to get rid of my S words before the round. The Start(er) of Match Play It took a mulligan but after 3-4 rounds at Tobacco Road Brian finally made it over the mounds off the first tee, and it was enough to win the hole. There's nothing staked at Tobacco Road so we decided to play a one stroke penalty for any lost ball. I don't want to give away too much here, but as you'll hear from the preview it was a helluva match, and it comes down to the wire. Tune in to hear about some of the duffs, the great putts, the almost hole in ones, and the grand finale.
Match Play Since we decided to extend the season and let it all roll in Match Play at Tobacco Road we decided to preview the round. We go through the yardage book hole-by-hole and preview in on the screen, so if you're interested in that check out the YouTube video. Here's a link to the yardage book if you're headed to Tobacco Road, and they also have an awesome app so be sure to download it before teeing off. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5xTS7D9fsqg
Major 4 is in the books but we've still got some golf left in the weekend. If you can't sleep you may as golf....sometimes. Mind Games Golf can be a complete mindf@#k! The minute you think something, or have a bad thought it's so easy for it to come to fruition. There was a time where I didn't want to know my score, because I didn't want it to get into my head, but I think instead of having those thoughts it's time to accept those thoughts, and become tougher mentally. Maybe we'll trend into the direction of Stableford scoring. Instead of walking off a hole lamenting another double that'll kill your score/handicap, you just saw, "oh well I didn't get any points that hole," and move on. Match Play We finally committed to playing a round of Match Play. And although it was a close match, Billy's wallet continued to take a beating. The Hackler Hackler seemed like a real cool golf course. Super young clientele (obviously because it's at Coastal Carolina University) and from what we saw a good looking golf course. Unfortunately we had to make the executive decision and get out of there. Shoutout to Hilton Head Prep The Final 9 We headed back and since we skipped the round we decided to play 9 holes at the local course. Brian has won the season (we thought) so we played with no pressure and more importantly had a ton of fun! It felt good to play golf not think about score or handicap for once. Golf can be a different/relaxing game when you're just out there having fun. Winner, Winner After putting in our scores for the weekend we were left with a huge surprise. Just goes to show you that you need to just plug in your scores and let the handicap formula do its work. After figuring out who we thought the winner would be we had an epiphany! Tune in for Tobacco Road!
Sometimes a little better can lead to a lot.... Golf Junkies We played a lot of golf over the weekend. 4 rounds of golf, a par 3 an executive and some putting contests along the way. If you're looking for a cool laid back local type course in the Pawley's Island area be sure to check out Founder's Club. Resort Courses What do y'all think about resort courses? We're starting to lean more towards the local type courses. They tend to be a better value and they're not nearly as crowded. The Love Course at Barefoot landing wasn't too bad, but overall I'm looking for a different vibe. There wasn't a lot to enjoy about the round from a play perspective for Billy, so Brian had a day and the pot continued to build. Waste Bunkers What is it about waste bunked that change the golfing experience? Something about driving my cart through a bunked really makes me like a course. Pawley's Plantation This seemed like a really cool golf course but it was ridiculously over crowded. I get that courses are busier these days, and places need to make money, but sending people off the front and the back is a recipe for disaster.
36 Holes of Golf We wanted to up the stakes on the third major, to get the pot to a nice balance. It's been awhile since we've played against each other and the pot has been stagnant. Let's see how these 36 holes of golf go, and how big the pot is getting Pre-Round Thoughts All season long we've talked about having the right attitude, and not turning into a little crybaby when things aren't going our way on the course. How did this round go, and what are some of y'alls pre-round thoughts that can help lower scores? The Bet There was a lot on the line, and it was a clean sweep! The pot is getting bigger as we get closer to the end, after being a bit stagnant for awhile. $5 Nassua that double if you sweep, $2 dots, and best combined score between both rounds with the caveat of taking the best score on that hole for either round. The Takeaways Attitude is everything!AdjustmentsTee it forwardPotential Are 3 putts the score killers we think they are?
The Stakes We upped the stakes for the second Major and also moved up a tee box. Tee it forward...just like the USGA suggests. One Golf Ball Brian played Major #2 with one ball. Is this is an exclusive club or does it happen pretty often? The Scores Brian took down the major shooting a 90 and beating me by 1. He's getting much more consistent and avoiding the big number. I'm still struggling to get some of the higher numbers off the scorecard. I had 4 pars in a row but couldn't keep the momentum going with a double and an 8. One of the reasons I've been struggling with alignment issues, but it's something Ive been working on. Brian has gotten good at getting steady and learning how to score. His ball striking has always been pretty good, but the scores weren't there, but it's starting to come together. Chips & Putts Neither one of use had a particularly good day putting and Brian left a little disappointed with his chipping. Getting rid of double chips and three putts is a great way to lower scores (of course) but none of that matters if you can't get the ball off the tee. Find your go to club off the tee and get the ball in play. There's more then one way to lower scores but that would be my advice to newcomers or people looking to play bogey golf. Driving What does it take to be a 10 handicap? Not going OB is my biggest hurdle to this, and we both need a little more distance off the tee. Common Mistakes One of the most common mistakes is coming up short on approach shots. I don't know if it's people lying to themselves or what, but it happens all the time. Start taking distances to the back hit more greens. PGA Rants We've had a few beers and around the 37 minute mark we start going off on some PGA rants. Considering these our ice cold takes. All-time money winners, Tiger, major winners, and some others topics we have no business discussing. What's Next? We still got two more majors coming up and the 4th Major will be a golf trip to Myrtle Beach. We need to up our bets to keep the fund growing so the winner gets a nice chunk of change at the end of the year. We're also both itching to play Match Play. Side note check out the Golfer's Journal. It's an amazing magazine and they have a great issue on Match Play. Club Fitting & Jacked Up Lofts I'm going to get fit in the next few days, so lets see what happens there. My set is so miss-matched these days so it'll be nice to have a complete set that I'll feel more confident in. Is anyone else annoyed at jacked up lofts as much as I am? I don't know why it bothers me so much. There should be standardization for lofts and what makes then a certain iron. Rants, More Rants & Mullets About and hour and five minutes we start going off the rails again, so if you're still listening thank you and we're sorry! I blame Google and I could be wrong about the JPX SEL so go look it up yourself.
We played 2 rounds in 3 days and we're going to take a look at the rounds from a different perspective; we're going to analyze the par 3's, par 4's and par 5's separately. Where are we losing strokes and what needs to improve? Golf Stat Tracking How many of y'all keep solid stats of your golf game? I think there's a lot to learn by keeping accurate stats and really looking into what can improve backed by data. Par Threes We both think that par 3's are now becoming a way to improve our scores. Brian came out of one round at par, and his next at 3.7. Ball striking is improving and scores on par threes are coming down. Par 5's Bogey golf on par 5's for Brian. Played 8 holes at 6. Is that good enough to lower the handicap? That's probably good enough but if we want to drop our handicaps that number needs to be closer to 5-5.5. A different change in mentality can go a long way and it's nice when it pays off. What's the opposite of smart golf syndrome? Second shot can be everything on a hole, but overall course management can absolutely lower your scores. Playing smarter golf is FINALLY paying off. Learning to play golf can be a beautiful thing! Tee Box Tangent We go off on a little tangent about our next round and playing a tee box forward. What do you do after you hit a great drive? Flush an iron or chunk you're next shot? It's amazing what moving up a tee box can do. Turning 280 yard rives into 220. If you're struggling, or play the same course a lot, think about moving tee boxes. It can be a lot of fun. Par 4's This is where the ugliness comes out. Why are par fours so difficult? Way to many doubles, and quite frankly way too many big numbers. I need to change my strategy entirely on par fours. The Scoring Method The scoring method is a different way of playing golf, but I really think it's just having a different mentality. It's really interesting and Will Robbins seems like a great dude. Check it out. Taking them out of the bag! Sometimes certain clubs just need to come out of the bag. At a certain point some clubs will hurt our game more than they can help us. Brian shot an 88 but shot 6.6 on par 4's, and had an 9 and an 11 on par fours. Way too many doubles. A double-double end is also becoming a common theme for Brian. How can we finish rounds strong? Do you guys and gals think about, or know about scores when you play? I think it's ok to know, but it's just about how you handle. I used to avoid knowing my scores like the plague but knowing your score, and dealing with it in the right manner can make a big difference. What Do You Actually Do To Improve At Golf? Ego, strategy, decision making, getting greedy, play comfortable? There is a mental shift that needs to happen to improve at golf, and specifically for now on par 4's. Next round I'm going to completely change my mentality on par 4's. Maybe that's just accepting getting there in 3 no matter the length. That can take pressure off and lead to playing more comfortable. I guess some people just find it easier to just lie about there scores.
Golf Gambling As some of you may know we like to gamble when we're playing golf, and we found a new cool game to play for two people. If you want to follow 'you're still away' it's a fun game to play and it somewhat doesn't matter what your scores is, so different levels of skill can play together. The Golf Game: Chipping and Putting Brian's golf game is really coming along with a few rounds in the high 80's. The chipping lesson has really paid off, and putting has taken a huge leap. It's easy to see how the scores have dropped. Lag putting is a thousand miles better, and double chipping is a thing of the past. Low Hanging Fruit What's the low hanging fruit in your golf game? Is it putting? Chipping? Going OB? Whatever it is you have to identify it, find a way to fix it, and get rid of it! Round Takeaways Consistency is just not there yet for Billy, and it's starting to get really frustrating. I need to get more swings in. Things to practice for both of us are ball striking. This might be true for every golfer in some realm but it's quite clear from
Golf Rounds It's all relative but what do y'all consider a lot of golf? We're playing a lot of golf this year, but maybe that's not a lot compared to others, but the bug is certainly there. Balls Per Round While scores and handicaps aren't coming down as fast as we've liked, it does seem like the amount of balls used per round is dropping, and Billy's scoring average has come down a stroke. It feels good to play with a sleeve of balls. Myrtle Beach Golf It's been awhile since we've played in MB, and the mental game was a bit better this round, and the Redneck Riviera did not disappoint! The round went great. Tune in to see how what we shot. Blow Up Holes Ball striking and scores are improving but there are still too many blow-up holes. The key to lowering scores/handicap is not making more birdies, it's avoiding the big number. Brian's Tear 9 Hole Round Brian was in the zone and had one of his best 9's ever! It feels good to get everything clicking. The Challenge Brian had to play a round without a range finder, and Billy couldn't use his 58 degree. Brian can sometimes get obsessed with the number, and Billy leaves some of his chips short. For both of us the challenge worked out great. Sometimes feel can really help free your mind, and doing a challenge can free the ego. Good Bounces & Hard Work It's nice to see some hard work pay off, but it also helps to get a few bounces here and there. Sometimes it can be the difference between a good round and a great round. A lot of times people will get down because one round it seems like their driver is great but they can't putt, or there irons are on, but they can't chip. I'm trying to change my mental attitude to start looking at this as a positive. How do you that? Tune in and find out how. The fastest way to lower your scores is by getting more GIR, but how do you do that? Easier said then done. Key Takeaways Play comfortable, play with in yourself, take the easy chip, and more!
The first major is in the books, and we're going to review the round with a, the Good(er), the Bad & the Ugly. Tot Hill Farm, like a lot of courses, has a way of humbling us. There are some small greens and tough shots all throughout the day. We played 36 holes, did some gambling, had a beers, smoked a cigar and overall had a great day. Tune in and see how it went. How to Bring Down Your Golf Scores When you're trying to bring down your golf scores and play bogey golf the key isn't to make more birdies & pars (although that helps) but you've got to get rid of the big numbers. Putting Of course one of the best things to do is to improve your putting. Get the ball to the hole and two putt. Practice and put a decent stroke on the ball. We all have the ability to be great putters. Mentality One of us is still struggling big-time mentality and it seems like making a breakthrough in this category is going to be a struggle. Does anyone have a tips on improving mental game? Committed Swings We have to make committed swings. It seems like an easy thing but even the pros struggle with it. It can be the difference between an ok round and a great round. Commitment & mental fortitude have been consistent themes whether we play alone or play together. Second Major Preview into the 2nd major and see what we have cooked up to get the pot up there for the winner in November.
Is there anything better then the Chicago Bulls theme music? That will get you pumped up. The First Major We're preparing to get ready for the first major of the season. Putting needs to get dialed because Mike Strantz does not mess around when it comes to designing golf courses. Last time we played there we ran into some interesting characters aka The Blitzkrieg Army. The Bets for the first major. Should we play dots? Should we mix it up? Strategy for the first major. Main focus: avoid the big number, play the conservative shot, and avoid trouble at all costs! Like Teddy KGB & Sam Darnold, I'm checking it down. Don't Molly Buttons Yourself. Sometimes redemption isn't so sweet. The Golf Fund The fund started in mid-March. Where is it at now? It's starting to build and it's going to be an epic win for one of us. The puttout is a great practice tool and Brian is trying to gamble on at home practice. Golf Handicap Update We declared handicaps 2 months ago, so lets check in and see where we are now, and who is leading this bet. Brian is about to lose a low score so this is going to get interesting. Ever hear of the anti-handicap? It can be a more accurate display of your golfing ability. What's the key to getting the handicap lower.....playing more. We try to do math and it's pretty sad. Golf Gambling Man; we love gambling! Tot Hill Farm is a great course and definitely worth checking out if you ever happen to find yourself in Asheboro, NC.
The Golf Tides Are Turning You have to play within yourself and make the right decisions. Does that sound familiar? Driver still seems to be the elusive club, but using it at the right times, or getting it under control are going to be key to lowering scores. Practice vs Playing There are certain times to work on your golf game, and there has to be different mental thoughts when you're playing. The Next Level These are a few things that keep popping up on the golf course: Learn when to leave driver in the bag. Play with the game ya got!Learn when to leave driver in the bag.Teeing it forward is fun.Aim for the middle of the green New Rules Brian has some new golf rules and it really paid off. Pull your head out of your @$$ and focus! Relaxed concentrationAvoid troubleBogey is the new par. Stop trying to make birdiesForgive and forgetConservative choices, aggressive swings
The New Plan If we're going to reach our goals we are going to have to change our plan and focus. Have we been focusing on the right things? The key to lowering scores and our handicaps will be to avoid the big number. New Irons How long do you give new irons (practice with them) before you put them in your bag and decide to keep them? Golf Lessons Billy had a golf lesson, lets check in and see how that went. He also has a different swing with irons and drivers; is any one else that way? Brian realized why he had to go through a few different coaches before settling on someone. Sometimes different coaches will just connect better, and phrase things that click in your mind. But do you ever truly ever figure this game out? Commitment There seems to be a consistent theme coming through these episodes and commitment is everything. The Round Another consistent theme that is coming through is that mental game and course management has to be a priority and although it seems easy, it is sometimes really hard to play with the right game plan. Brian got off to a great start, will he be able to keep it up? Is he still struggling to get off the tee? What are some ways to make this game easier on ourselves? Does one bad hole derail a round? Have you ever picked up someone else's ball, and I'm still struggling playing with random people. Penalty strokes need to be eliminated; hazards have to be avoided. Does anyone have an easy way to get rid of them? If you do, please let me know. When will we finally wake up and make the right decisions? Making the smart choices can really change the round. It's time to start letting the facts/stats effect decisions. Good scores will come from avoiding the big number. Unfortunately one of us managed to score a 12. What's a good problem to have? Make better decisions! There's so many holes where you don't need driver, but yet we continue to pull it out of the bag. Is it ego?
New Golf Clubs Billy got new clubs, will he love them or hate them? Cleveland UBX Irons . There's a lot going on in the Happy Gilmore Learning Center. How do you feel when you have a bad range session? What do you think about when you're at the range and does it effect your play? Brian's been having some range sessions as well; how has that been going? Golf Round The game is progressing so there's not a ton of wasted shots. Will it last and how did the round go? Either way the pot continues to grow. What part of our games are improving? Have drills been playing off on the course. To score well you've got to take advantage of the par 3's and avoid 3 putts. Seems obvious right? Ever have a high scoring round but it felt like it was going to be lower. That has to be a good sign. Clubbing Up On Chipping? What do y'all typically chip with? Do you have one club you always use around the green or do you mix it up depending on the factors? Laying Up and Egos Nobody wants to lay up all the time but sometimes it can really help confidence. What type of grip does everyone use on their putters? Do you like pistol grip, standard, oversized, jumbo? Green Reading Books & Range Finders Obviously there's a lot going on on the PGA Tour with range finders, green reading books and pace of play. There's value in rangefinders but you've got to know your distances. Does knowing your carry distances take you to the next level and help lower your handicap.
We played 27 holes and instead of going through hole by hole we're going to analyze the other's persons game through the good, the bad and the ugly. My Golf Advice Don't look at your phone when you're playing golf, and especially don't check work messages! Alright with that out of the way let's get to the good, the bad & the ugly. The Good Golf Billy liked his score; tune in find out what it was. Should we always move up a tee box? Maybe it wasn't the tee box, but I've been saying it for awhile, but the second shot is the most important shot in golf. Routines and focus can't be understated. It really helped my game on certain shots and needs be ingrained! I feel like I'm typing this a lot. Brian is liking his iron striking, and has found a go to club off the tee. How about chipping? Can he change his name when a certain club doesn't show up? The Bad Golf Consistency is key! The chunks, tops, and wasted shots need to come off the scorecard. There were too many wasted shots (and wasted golfers!). Mid irons are not we're they need to be. Scores? Can you play well and not score? How do you go from being a decent golfer to someone who knows how to score? Play with the game you have that day! The Ugly Attitude is everything! Does a bad attitude equate to bad scores, or do bad scores equate to a bad attitude? Either way, rule #1 is to have fun! What's the point of doing this if we aren't going to have fun. The mental game needs to be stronger. Putting! Speed/distance control is the most important aspect of putting when, especially when you want to avoid the dreaded 3 putt. Other Stuff Brian recaps some of his 9 hole rounds and hits one of the best shots of the day! Some of the best of pair up's we've ever had! What is "fun"? Update on the pot and handicaps.
Did we stay on the golf practice track? As you know, we set some guidelines that we have meet weekly or we owe money to the pot. How did we do in the first week and how hard will this be to stick to? Golf Practice & Drills Most of our drills in this weeks talk come from Adam Young's Strikeplan. If you're not familiar with Adam or the Strikeplan check it out; it may be useful for your own game. Billy's Plan: Gate Drill, Towel Drill. What are some of y'alls favorite drills? Brian's Plan: Shanks? Scrap and Hit? Do you ever feel really stupid doing a drill at the range, and how do you handle people looking at you like you were crazy? Brian wants to commit more time to a certain drill. Tune in and see what drill it is. Do you try to schedule your practice sessions so you can maximize on course potential? Workouts & Fitness When you're this out of shape working out 3x a week can be tough, but there's only one way to go and that's up! The Pot! The pot continues to grow and we're scheduling a match next week. What stakes should we play for? On Course Thoughts Brian is struggling with on course thoughts. Target and tempo, ball first contact, etc, etc. What do you limit yourself to when you're playing? How do you get the range thoughts out of your mind when you;re playing and separate the two? Ingraining some thoughts in your mind, like set-up, could help. These things need to become second nature. We're trying to make the process as automated as possible. CPG's 747 Swing Method What's Next? Tune in to the next episode to see how our next round went, who owes money to the pot, and how our handicap's are trending, and join us on our bogey golf adventure.
The Improvement Plan Everyone loves a Wayne's World reference! We were calling these our practice plans, but Brian (in his infinite wisdom) wanted to change it up and call it an Improvement plan. Penalty Strokes Are our handicaps b.s.? Let us know what you think, but we're paying closer attention to the rules. The rules of golf can be a bit of pain, but if you want a legit handicap you gotta follow them. Can't hit it OB anymore. The BET!!! Ok, this what we all came to see! We have a serious bet going this year to build the pot and we can't wait to build the pot and see who the winner is. Be sure to stay tuned and keep up with our plans and see who the winner is. Practice Plans In order to build the pot we've thrown in a few 'off the course' activities that will also build the pot. We now have to also workout and commit to practicing, or you will owe money weekly. Current Handicaps Brian's starting handicap is 20.7 and Billy is 22.7. Who will lower it the biggest percentage? Be sure to follow along as we provide updates throughout the season. The Range, Fist Pumps &The Rest of It What do you when you practice? Block practice, short game? Do you enjoy practicing? How do you handle a bad shot? Do you flow with it or do you let it bother you? What's the best way to let a bad shot go, and become stronger mentally?
Playing Together at The Divide We review the round hole by hole. This is a course that we've both probably played the most in the Charlotte area. Teed off on a Sunday morning, didn't get paired up, weather was perfect, and the course felt empty. What more could you ask for? Life is good...for awhile. We know the course well, but did that help pay off? OB Penalty Mishap We mistakenly said that OB is a one stroke penalty, and we wanted to clear up stroke & distance. Checkout the rule change from the USGA and if you're curious. Net Double Bogey & ESC Net double bogey and equitable stroke control can help limit your score and/or handicap so be sure to enter your scores accurately. A lot of times if you use a service like the The Grint or another handicap service and enter your scores hole by hole they will make this adjustment for you. Visualization & Positive Mental Attitude/Mental Toughness Do you visualize shots? Have you heard of Vision54? Either way you have to have a positive mental attitude. We're playing golf on a beautiful day, why do we let the littlest thing bother us? If we want our handicaps to come down we're going to have to be tougher mentally. 3 Putt Bogey's Is there anything worse than a 3 putt bogey? It's time to get serious about putting and actually go practice it. Here's a look at average putts per round per handicap. Smart Golf Syndrome Do you ever hit a 5 iron off the tee instead of driver and then shank it OB anyway? Ever try to lay up on a hole and hit it to far into the creek you were laying up to avoid? Yeah, that's smart golf syndrome (SGS). When you make the right decision, but the results don't pay off. One of the easiest ways for high handicappers to to immediately lower their scores is avoiding SGS. *FYI - the image on this blog post is NOT the Divide :) It was just a free image and it's nice.
Slow Play How do y'all handle slow play, because we had a real tough time this round. It was a 6 hour pace and nobody seemed to care. We called it quits after 9 holes because we would've been there forever, and sadly it wasn't fun. Either way, we were a little disappointed in our mental toughness. Need to learn and get better. Vegas Baby Vegas Brian takes a visit out to Vegas for a little R&R and plays with the salt of the earth at Stallion Mountain. Let's see how that went, since Brian is known to choke when playing with strangers. The Start of a Molly Buttons Do you ever hit the ball into a hazed that isn't even in play, but you somehow. manage to hit it anyway? Yeah, you just got Molly Buttons'. Billy's Fun Round Had a friend come into town so I played a fun round. There were a lot of positives to build off of. 5 pars on the fron, and 7 pars overall. My putter was on fire, and I love the new purchase; Cleveland Huntington Beach Soft Premier. Pre Bet: The Devil is in the Details. How do we want this season to go and what are the stakes we're laying down?
