Food Travel USA with Elizabeth Dougherty Album: The TRUTH About Food and Travel 062825 Original Broadcast Date: 06/28/2025 Episode #:  What if you're not standing on Earth… but inside it? Elizabeth uncovers the strange and compelling legacy of Cyrus Teed, a 19th-century doctor-turned-mystic who believed we live inside a hollow sphere. His “Cellular Cosmogony” proposed that the sun, stars, and universe all exist within the shell of our planet. It sounds insane—until you hear how seriously some people took it. Teed moved to Florida and founded the Koreshan Unity, a utopian settlement that built its own printing press, planetarium, and even carried out “scientific experiments” to prove his theory. The segment dives into their beliefs, their architecture, and the eerie remnants of the cult still preserved in a Florida state park today. Whether it's science fiction, religious fervor, or an early example of America's fringe obsessions, Teed's story is one of the wildest chapters in the strange intersection of belief, science, and community living. FOOD TRAVEL USA FAST FACTS About the Show Using the chassis of a food and travel show, Elizabeth Dougherty has carved out her own lane in Talk Radio, covering the contamination of the food supply and the travel restrictions placed upon us by an overreaching government. The show also covers data protection, self-sufficiency, and homesteading-related topics to help protect us from this evil, corrupt system. With Elizabeth as the host, the show has a very different sound from the typical male-oriented talk radio. In combination with terrestrial stations that carry the show, we reach people who don't normally listen to politically-driven talk radio.
