PJ is off playing the 100 Hole Hike (Donate Here!), leaving Andy and Brendan to fend for themselves on this Wednesday edition of SGS. So it begins with a rambling first 10 minutes on the World Cup, Knicks, Kramer Hikock, the Bears moving to Indiana, and much more. Eventually, they get to “Golf’s Longest Day” and the multitude of stories that emerged from final qualifying for the U.S. Open, including Charlie Woods “carrying” the young phenom Miles Russell to Shinnecock. Event of the Week honors had a crowded field to chose from between a national open in Canada, the Curtis Cup, and a Champs tour stop at Wakonda Club in Iowa. LIV heading to CNBC for a pitch, with minimal leverage, and an unclear future, is assessed as a strategy play. Lastly, news covers the PGA Tour officially partnering with the Australian Open and what that means for a global tour. The death of the Rocket Classic in Detroit is also discussed, leading to a few ideas for how the new Track 1 and Track 2 schedule might operate and survive.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

This First of the Month recording has everyone in a great mood off the jump, with Andy immediately taking a victory lap for a big weekend from Pete Crow-Armstrong against the Cardinals. Brendan quickly transitions things to Russell Henley's playoff win at the Charles Schwab Challenge, the sixth PGA Tour victory of his career. Henley birdied the final three holes in regulation to tie Eric Cole before making another on the sole playoff hole. Andy brings up some other six-time winners in an effort to contextualize Henley's career and his chances of winning a major championship. Brendan calls Henley a likely Presidents Cup lock despite believing the U.S. should look to build some younger stars ahead of Adare Manor. The two discuss Colonial's continued run as a challenging Tour stop and suggest that this should be the main Texas event on the new schedule. Andy and Brendan then run through results from the rest of the golf world, starting with yet another Joaquin Niemann win for LIV Golf. Despite the individual win for Niemann, the Crushers still took down the team title in Korea, aided by Bryson DeChambeau's use of Google Gemini to help fix his swing. Nobody can fathom any player other than Bryson needing to use AI in order to help figure out swing woes, but Andy thinks this may HELP his chances at Shinnecock. This episode wraps with a recap of the Men's NCAA Championships through Sunday, with the final individual round and the team match play still to come early this week. First Phosphate Corp. CEO John Passalacqua joined Steve Darling from Proactive to discuss a significant milestone for the company following the release of an updated Mineral Resource Estimate (MRE) for its Bégin-Lamarche phosphate project in Quebec. The updated estimate, based on 276 drill holes totaling 68,345 metres, represents a substantial increase in resource size and further strengthens the project's development potential. Passalacqua highlighted that the revised resource estimate delivered a major increase in the project's indicated mineral resources, rising by 378% compared with the company's initial 2024 MRE. The updated pit-constrained indicated mineral resource now stands at 6.2 million tonnes grading 7.70% P₂O₅, containing approximately 478,000 tonnes of phosphate. Additionally, the inferred pit-constrained mineral resource totals 89.5 million tonnes grading 6.16% P₂O₅. Despite the considerable growth in overall resource size, the deposit remains open at depth, leaving room for additional expansion through future exploration programs. The company also provided more insight into the geological characteristics of the Bégin-Lamarche deposit. The phosphate system is comprised of four distinct mineralized zones that appear continuous and maintain strong continuity both in the east-west direction and at depth. The Mountain Zone represents the largest component of the deposit with a diameter of up to 200 metres and a length of approximately 250 metres. The Northern Zone contains four phosphate layers ranging from 30 to 200 metres in thickness and extending for around 625 metres. The Central Zone hosts eight phosphate layers, including one layer reaching thicknesses of up to 50 metres and extending roughly 900 metres. Meanwhile, the Southern Zone features three phosphate-bearing layers, with one reaching up to 125 metres thick and extending over 725 metres. Passalacqua also discussed recent metallurgical testing results, which were conducted by SGS with support from SGS Lakefield in Ontario. Results demonstrated that the company successfully produced an apatite concentrate with approximately 40.4% P₂O₅ and a recovery rate of 88%. These results indicate strong processing potential and reinforce confidence in the deposit's economic prospects. In addition to the project's expanding resource profile and encouraging metallurgical results, First Phosphate benefits from a strategic infrastructure advantage. The Bégin-Lamarche project is situated adjacent to existing road and hydroelectric infrastructure and is located just 70 kilometres from the deep-sea Port of Saguenay, positioning the project well for future development and logistics efficiency. #proactiveinvestors #firstphosphatecorp #cse #phos #otcqx #frspf #frspf #BeginLamarche #PhosphateMining #MiningNews #QuebecMining #MineralResources #CriticalMinerals #Exploration #MiningStocks #ResourceExpansion #BatteryMaterials

SGS goes to the bullpen as PJ and Kevin Van Valkenburg slide into the big chairs for a late Sunday recording. The two aren't entirely sure how they got here, but they applaud Andy for taking the night off to celebrate the Bulls securing a top-four pick in the upcoming NBA Draft. Things stay on the rails to start, as PJ and Kevin quickly get into another "juice-less" week at Quail Hollow for the Truist Championship. Kristoffer Reitan broke through for his first PGA Tour win after getting into this Signature Event on the Aon Swing 5 list, defeating a smattering of European Ryder Cup hopefuls like Alex Fitzpatrick and Nicolai Hojgaard. Reitan successfully navigated the "Green Mile" to round out his Sunday and got to show off an unlikely sponsor during his winner's interview on CBS. Kevin is quick to jump on a runner-up finish for Rickie Fowler and suggests that a Rickie win at the PGA could be the best possible outcome for the sport of golf. PJ is concerned about a "Space Jam" situation unfolding after Justin Thomas bragged about stealing Cameron Young's putter and a tough Sunday on the greens cost Cam a back-to-back win. There's also plenty of Jordan Spieth discussion after he resurrected the "go get that" moment early in an uncompetitive week. In other news, Team USA's captain has won on the PGA Tour yet again! Brandt Snedeker took home the title at the OneFlight Myrtle Beach Classic, his first win since 2018, but was quick to note that he has absolutely no plans to play in the Presidents Cup this fall. He is excited to play in his first major since 2021 this week, and PJ suggests keeping a close eye on who Snedeker tees it up with in practice rounds at Aronimink. Lucas Herbert went wire-to-wire at LIV Virginia, holding off a charging Anthony Kim on Sunday and securing his spot in the 2026 U.S. Open. In a very important installment of Champions Tour Minute, PJ recaps Boo Weekley's win at the Insperity Invitational and shares a special shoutout that Boo received from a famous friend on social media. Overseas, Yurav Premlall might've been the most unlikely DP World Tour winner of all time at this week's Estrella Damm Catalunya Championship, and Chris Wood returned to the winner's circle to round out this week of 2016 throwbacks. In news that we couldn't make up if we tried, professional wrestling company AEW held a show in the SoFi Dome on Saturday featuring wrestlers tackling each other into the very same bunkers that Kevin Kisner hit shanks in for Marty Smith's entertainment! Eamon Lynch also sat down with new PGA of America CEO Terry Clark to get the scoop on Don Rea's whereabouts (among other things) as we arrive at the year's second major championship. Andy and Brendan will return on Tuesday night for a LIVE preview of the 2026 PGA Championship at Aronimink Golf Club!See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

What does it take to move from talking about racial equity to practicing it—inside philanthropy and across the nonprofit sector? In this episode, you'll get visionary and pragmatic guidance on how funders and nonprofits can close the gap between intention and action. Rusty speaks with Kaci Patterson, Founder of Social Good Solutions and the Black Equity Collective. Kaci shares how her work brings funders and Black-led organizations together to build relationships, trust, and unding strategies that are rooted in community. The conversation also digs into the economic and social impact of Black community organizations, the persistent under-funded/under-capacity paradox faced by these organizations, and the urgent opportunity facing philanthropy. As the DEI backlash and public sector staffing cuts disproportionately impact Black women, Kaci argues that philanthropy has a choice: retreat to old habits or invest boldly in a stronger, more equitable nonprofit workforce. This episode offers both a clear-eyed critique and a hopeful path forward—grounded in relationships, mutuality, shared leadership, and long-term sustainability.Download an edited transcript .pdf of episodeAbout Our Guest:Kaci is Founder and Chief Architect of Social Good Solutions (SGS), a Black woman-owned and operated boutique social impact consulting firm. Terry Harbort, President and CEO of Talisker Resources (TSX: TSK) (OTCQX:TSKFF), joins us for an production and exploration update at the Mustang Mine, to outline the development towards Bralorne West and over at Olympus, the recently announced 105,000 meter drill program, and to review the work going into the upcoming Mineral Resource Estimate (MRE) and Preliminary Economic Assessment (PEA) at their 100% owned Bralorne Gold Project in British Columbia.   Terry outlined the areas of ramp-up in production at the Mustang Mine, currently accessing about 6 ore faces at the 1040 and 1030 levels, with the plan to eventually get down to the 1015 and 980 levels later this year. The mining has been coming from the Alhambra Vein, BK Vein, and BK-9870 Vein, with plans to also begin accessing the Brumbie Vein in the next couple of months.   The Company has successfully transitioned over to shipping ore to Ocean Partners in Q1, with over 5,000 tonnes currently being crushed, and market updates on gold payables slated for the next couple of weeks.   Development work is continuing from the main area of the Mustang Mine over towards Bralorne West, with about 150 meters to go to be able to start accessing ore faces over in that part of the deposit.    As operations continue ramping up, expanding up to 500 tpd later this year, that the plan is then to keep developing over to increase mining from more areas including from Bralorne West to increase operations to 750-1,000 tpd about 2 years out.   Then further out the initiative is to put in a second portal into the historic Pioneer mining area to access the Olympus Mine to the southeast of the Mustang Mine, moving throughput up to the eventual target of 1,500 tpd.   Additionally, we explore how the mining process will be further upgraded utilizing ore-sorting technology by Q3 of this year. This ore-sorting will allow for shipping higher-grade material, with less associated waste, making it even more economical to be shipped to Ocean Partners.   All 2025 diamond drilling assays have now been received and are being incorporated into the vein model wireframes, which will feed into the upcoming resource estimate and Preliminary Economic Assessment (PEA). Talisker has engaged SGS Canada Inc. to complete a National Instrument 43-101 compliant Technical Report incorporating a Mineral Resource Estimate and the PEA for the Bralorne Gold Project. The MRE is targeted for Q2, and will update the estimate in the Company's current Technical Report (completed in 2023) and incorporate an additional 138 drill holes (representing 31,093m of drill core), as well as the depletion of areas already mined by Talisker at the Mustang Mine in 2025. In addition, Talisker has engaged third-party consultants to complete studies regarding mining, infrastructure, process, capital and operation costs, as well as economic studies. The information from these studies will be provided to SGS for review and incorporation in the PEA, expected to be completed during Q3 2026.   On April 21, 2026, Talisker Resources announced that the Company has increased its diamond drill program from 30,000 metres to 105,000 metres. The program will consist of 83,000 metres of resource conversion drilling at the Mustang, Bralorne West and Olympus areas and 22,000 metres of exploration drilling targeting veins at Congress and Pioneer Deeps.  Terry further unpacks the goals of this largest drill program to date at each of these areas and how this will set the company up for its growth initiatives for years to come.   If you have any follow up questions for Terry regarding Talisker Resources, then please email me at Shad@kereport.com.   In full disclosure, Shad is a shareholder of Talisker Resources at the time of this recording, and may choose to buy or sell shares at any time.    Click here to follow the latest news from Talisker Resources     For more market commentary & interview summaries, subscribe to our Substacks:   The KE Report: https://kereport.substack.com/ Shad's resource market commentary: https://excelsiorprosperity.substack.com/     Investment disclaimer: This content is for informational and educational purposes only and does not constitute investment advice, an offer, or a solicitation to buy or sell any security. Several holes have returned spectacular grades, including 22 meters at approximately 11% copper equivalent—grades roughly 20-30 times higher than typical copper deposits currently in production.Management has systematically addressed three key investor concerns that may have constrained valuation. First, metallurgical complexity—a critical risk for polymetallic projects—was de-risked through SGS lock cycle testing that demonstrated 80%+ recoveries on run-of-mine material. Second, perceptions about project size overlook the fundamental economics: high-grade deposits require substantially lower capital per unit of contained metal than low-grade tonnage plays. Third, the company's Quebec location provides infrastructure advantages and fiscal incentives that deliver nearly 2-for-1 exploration financing plus 55% combined development capital credits. The deposit classification as an orthomagmatic system—only approximately 20 exist globally—suggests substantial growth potential. Comparable deposits including Russia's Norilsk and South Africa's Merensky Reef typically host multiple mines across district-scale footprints, with contained metal inventories often exceeding 10 million tons versus current analyst estimates of 600,000-800,000 tons at Nisk.Power Metallic has accelerated its preliminary economic assessment timeline to fall 2026 from spring 2027, with an updated mineral resource estimate scheduled for September. The company maintains six active drill rigs and has expanded its land package sixfold to 330 square kilometers. A planned NYSE/Nasdaq listing in Q3 2026 aims to provide broader institutional access.Despite underlying commodity prices increasing over 60% since the February 2025 financing, the stock has traded sideways—a disconnect management believes creates asymmetric opportunity for investors ahead of multiple near-term catalysts.View Power Metallic's company profile: https://www.cruxinvestor.com/companies/power-metallicSign up for Crux Investor: https://cruxinvestor.com

Bama is the Nate Oats show: he wad doing efficiency before it was cool. PG Labarn Philon isn't Aden Holloway but is lengthy can can get to the basket—Nick Boyd was his #1 comp on Hoop-Explorer. Darius Acuff was on that list too. SG Latrell Wrightsell is a shooter; he was 6/9 from three vs TTU, 38% career from three, hit 45% two years ago (on a team with Sam Walters). OLD.  Wing Amari Allen is a 6'8-205 and NOT JUST A SHOOTER. The book on Allen is don't let him shoot from the left side of the arc: 47% on 47 attempts from the left wing, 4 or 10 from the corner. But 32% straightaway on 31 attempts, 24% on 46 attempts from the right side. He's just 61% at the rim. The other wing is a timeshare between a JAS, a freshman, and an Egyptian stretch four.  At center they're lacking, sorta. Aiden Sherrell is a Detroiter—Seth sent a phot of him as a recruit to Brian once—McDonald's AA—kinda reminds us of Morez. Had major struggles at the free throw line last year (46%) that he's largely fixed. Backup is... can Charles Bediako play? No? Well Bucknell transfer Noah Williamson is actually Noa Viljamsons from Latvia; he was #1 in usage and #1 in defensive rebounding in the Patriot League but severe dropoffs all over the map in their few chances against better competition.  [The rest of the writeup and the player after THE JUMP]  5. Elite Eight Preview: Iowa State or Tennessee Starts at 22:13 Iowa State spent a lot of the season on the 1-seed line. HUUUUGE loss (unless it's better than it looked) in Joshua Jefferson (KPOY #2), who's high-usage Yax and really gave ISU their identity. PG Tamin Lipsey is Tre Donaldson. Wing Milan Momcilovic is the sniper of the year. Three different SGs with three different skills, and then they have some decent but not world-beating centers. It's really about stopping Jefferson. If it's Tennessee that's an easier matchup but maybe not a great one for Michigan because Ja'Kobi Gillespie gets his own shot, Nate Ament is mini Joshua Jefferson, and they throw these huge bodies at the offensive glass. 6. Women's Basketball: First Weekend Recap and Sweet 16/Elite 8 Preview Starts at 43:47 Firsts for Michigan WBB under Kim Barnes-Arico: 2-seed, 16-win season at Crisler, 27-win season. Muppets! Rote beatdown of Holy Cross was rote; the WBB Tournament is even more chalk as the top talent is so much better than the rest. Michigan is the best of the teams that doesn't have an All-American, but some teams have multiple. NC State game was a fun matchup that Michigan took over as soon as their threes started going down. BQD-ass game where she took over at times by swarming a team that normally doesn't turn it over with the press. Looking forward: Louisville is NC State but can shoot—they're all large and can stretch, though not very quick. Laura Zeigler was the top recruit in the portal, Taj Roberts is a tall sniper, Imari Berry looks like an undead from WoW. If they get past Lville it's almost certainly going to be 1-seed Texas, which just rolled Oregon, which is a bellwether (when not in a legendarily badly officiated game). Madison Booker is WBB Yaxel, Rori Harmon is a thief, Breya Cunningham and Kyla Odacre are way bigger than anyone Michigan can put on them. The police siren is in use for this Friday episode following a Thursday 73 from Scottie Scheffler that left him visibly angry on PGA Tour Live! Andy and Brendan discuss an uncharacteristic over-par round from the World No. 1, as well as Brooks Koepka's tough day at a course he's won at in the past. Not everyone is on the struggle bus: Chris Gotterup has the first round lead with fellow young stars Pierceson Coody, Rasmus Neergaard-Petersen, and both Højgaards on his heels. In other PGA Tour news, they are once again starting up the "fifth major" debate around The Players Championship with a new promo that says "March Is Going To Be Major." Andy is ready for this weekend's Super Bowl after a week of hype in the Bay Area, but there's a brief preview of some events preceding next week's live show in Chicago. Somehow, this conversation ends with PJ challenging professional athletes to play him for an SGS season of "Pros vs. Joes." Patrick Reed could use someone to challenge him on the DP World Tour as he's once again right in the mix in Qatar. Brendan and Andy suggest any number of Euro stalwarts that could potentially become the "P Stopper" but it remains to be seen if anyone will step up. While Brooks is struggling in Phoenix, Smash GC is winning the team contest at LIV Riyadh, with some wondering if Talor "Sam Presti" Gooch has turned things around for good. The back half of this episode is dedicated to the PGA of America hiring Terry Clark as its new CEO, with Andy and Brendan both highlighting areas of need for the governing body now that it is under new leadership. Join us in Chicagoland for an SGS Live Show on Thursday, February 12! We'll be hanging out at SPACE in Evanston, Illinois for a night of Q&A, Champs Tour Minute, and plenty of Bears chatter. Terry Harbort, President and CEO of Talisker Resources (TSX: TSK) (OTCQX:TSKFF), joins us for an production and exploration update at the Mustang Mine, to outline the development towards Bralorne West, and to review the work going into the upcoming Mineral Resource Estimate (MRE) and Preliminary Economic Assessment (PEA) at their 100% owned Bralorne Gold Project in British Columbia.   Terry outlined what the ramp-up in production at the Mustang Mine would look like over the next few years; with a goal to get up to 500 tonnes per day (tpd) this year, and clarified the November 10th news announcing the signing of binding terms for an Ore Purchase Agreement with Ocean Partners UK Ltd for up to 1,500 tpd including a US$25 million revolving credit facility for use developing the Project and secure the pathway to ramp up production.  The Company has confirmed with Ocean Partners that it will begin shipping gold bearing material here in January 2026, and there are already stockpiles building at the port facility.   Initial production at the Mustang mine was sourced mostly from in-vein development from the 1090, 1105 and 1120 levels and but now development and production is progressing into the stopes at the 1060, 1045, and 1035 levels. The mining has been coming from the Alhambra Vein, BK Vein, and BK-9870 Vein, with plans to also begin accessing the Brumbie Vein in the next couple of months.   In 2025, a total of 35 underground diamond drill holes for 7,515 metres were completed from three drill bays in the Mustang Mine, and a total of 15 surface diamond drill holes for 5,367 metres were completed from one drill pad at Bralorne West. This work included drill hole UB-2025-016 which intercepted 99.60 g/t Au over 0.50 m within 26.48 g/t Au over 2.00 m on the BK9870 Vein. The underground resource conversion drill program was focused on infill drilling at the Alhambra, BK, and BK-9870 Veins within the Mustang Mine. All 2025 diamond drilling assays have now been received and are being incorporated into the vein model wireframes, which will feed into the upcoming resource estimate and PEA.   Talisker has engaged SGS Canada Inc. to complete a National Instrument 43-101 compliant Technical Report incorporating a Mineral Resource Estimate and Preliminary Economic Assessment for the Bralorne Gold Project. The MRE will update the estimate in the Company's current Technical Report (completed in 2023) and incorporate an additional 138 drill holes (representing 31,093m of drill core), as well as the depletion of areas already mined by Talisker at the Mustang Mine in 2025. In addition, Talisker has engaged third-party consultants to complete studies regarding mining, infrastructure, process, capital and operation costs, as well as economic studies. The information from these studies will be provided to SGS for review and incorporation in the PEA. The Technical Report with both the MRE and PEA is expected to be completed during Q2 2026.   We review as things continue ramping up, expanding up to 500 tpd later this year, that the plan is then to keep developing over to increase mining from more areas including from Bralorne West to increase operations to 750-1,000 tpd about 2 years out. Then further out the initiative is to put in a second portal into the historic Pioneer mining area to access the Olympus Mine to the southeast of the Mustang Mine, moving throughput up to the eventual target of 1,500 tpd.   Additionally, we explore how the process will being upgrading the ore on site utilizing ore-sorting technology by Q3 of this year. This ore-sorting will allow for shipping higher-grade material, with less associated waste, making it even more economical to be shipped to Ocean Partners. Interview with Jean-Marc Lulin, President & CEO of Azimut Exploration Inc.Our previous interview: https://www.cruxinvestor.com/posts/azimut-exploration-tsxvazm-kghm-funds-nickel-hunt-as-quebec-explorer-weighs-gold-asset-options-6611Recording date: 21st November 2025Azimut Exploration (TSXV:AZM) is executing a strategic transformation from prospect generator to focused development company, concentrating resources on three 100%-owned gold discoveries in Quebec's prolific mining districts. Jean-Marc Lulin, president and CEO with 40 years of global exploration experience, outlined the company's evolution and provided comprehensive project updates in a recent interview. The flagship Wabamisk property hosts two significant discoveries separated by 15 kilometers of underexplored ground. The Fortin Zone represents one of Canada's largest antimony systems, spanning at least 1.8 kilometers of strike length with mineralized envelopes reaching 50 meters in width. Drilling across 86 holes totaling 12,000 meters has tested the system to 250 meters depth, where strong mineralization continues with the deposit remaining open in multiple directions. Metallurgical testing with SGS is underway, with preliminary results described as encouraging—critical validation for economic viability during a period of elevated antimony prices driven by critical mineral supply constraints. The Rosa Zone emerged as an unexpected breakthrough in terrain explored for 90 years by 11 previous companies. Systematic prospecting revealed 300 meters of outcropping high-grade gold with abundant visible gold—both coarse and fine dust—that correlates strongly with a 1.4-kilometer induced polarization anomaly. Initial drilling intersected visible gold in 11 of 26 holes, with assay results expected by year-end 2025 or early January 2026.The company's third focus, Elmer-Patwon, represents the most advanced asset with an existing resource that benefits from gold prices substantially above the $1,800 per ounce used in the original definition. A scoping study is well advanced, with clear expansion targets identified along strike.Azimut maintains strategic leverage through partnerships, notably with KGHM on the Kukamas nickel-copper-PGE project, where drilling delivered grades up to 19.6% nickel and 15 grams per ton platinum-palladium in a kambalda-type system. KGHM is funding advancement toward a preliminary economic assessment while Azimut retains operator status with no funding obligations.Lulin emphasized the company's technical discipline: "We want to advance as quickly as possible but in a rational way." Detailed 2026 program guidance is expected in Q1 following receipt of critical assay results that will shape resource expansion strategies across the portfolio.View Azimut Exploration's company profile: https://www.cruxinvestor.com/companies/azimut-explorationSign up for Crux Investor: https://cruxinvestor.com

The combined 0-6 Bears, Browns, and Jets lost by a combined 74 points on Sunday. But it is still a victory Monday around here as we welcome Kevin Van Valkenburg to the Fried Egg Golf team. Though he has been a contributor to SGS in the past, he's now on the FE ship full time so we bring him on to bat it around following the weekend of Brocore, Wentworth, and continued Ryder Cup hype. We discuss Scottie Scheffler — his mere presence — putting everyone around him on the fritz, like Ben Griffin, who could have, should have won the Brocore. Did it take a low stakes fall event to really convince us the Tiger invocations are not out of line? Maybe. They also discuss king mule Lanto's involvement in the proceedings and Jackson Koivun needing to stay on Tour and not go back to school. At Wentworth, they discuss Alex Noren being a top 20 player in the world and for sure a top 12 option for Team Europe who will be relegated to the ass-cap role. Then the notion of VR headsets preparing the Euro Ryder Cup team for battle is also bandied about with some amusement. They close with some football chatter and laughs about PJ having to send cringe tweets for the Lions following the Browns wishing Deshaun a happy birthday on Sunday morning.

As promised on Wednesday's episode, Kevin Van Valkenburg returns to discuss the 2021 BMW Championship at Caves Valley and the ensuing SGS episode that continues to live in infamy. Before KVV comes in, Brendan keeps PJ in the big chair to run through some press conference quotes and results from the first round of this year's BMW. Brendan unleashes a rant about the proliferation of the Little League World Series across ESPN properties, leading to a lengthy discussion about the state of youth sports and selling out to private equity. From there, early storylines from the BMW start to emerge including plenty about next month's Ryder Cup. Scottie Scheffler doesn't want to talk about the upcoming matches at Bethpage, but Rory and Keegan both had some thoughts about a playing captain in their pre-tournament pressers in Baltimore. Brendan and PJ also preview LIV Indianapolis, share some concern about Xander Schauffele in this lost season for him, and check in on match play at the U.S. Am. KVV then comes in to join Brendan as the two remember their time at the birth of "Patty Ice" against a villainous Bryson DeChambeau at the 2021 BMW Championship.

A true Friday episode about nothing seems fitting for the first round of the FedEx Cup Playoffs. Andy and Brendan immediately jump in on some Ryder Cup discourse after Akshay Bhatia's Thursday 62 that has him in the lead at the FedEx St. Jude at TPC Initech. The two discuss whether players like Bhatia, Bud Cauley, or even Harry Hall could do anything in the playoffs to cement their case for a captain's pick ahead of next month's matches at Bethpage Black. There's some continued action on the caddie carousel, with Collin Morikawa debuting a new man on the bag in Memphis. Andy seeks out some help from our AI overlords about why Morikawa has issues finding a permanent caddie, and Tony Finau reveals that he, too, is playing the new Titleist ball that Fordie Pitts gave Mr. 1,000 last week. Brendan continues his crusade about PGA Tour history and the calculation that led to Mr. 1,000, finding that the PGA Tour wins record should NOT be 82 after all! Speaking of PGA Tour insanity, their latest "Perfect 30" fantasy game for the FedEx Cup Playoffs asks a question that is nearly impossible to answer - placing all 30 players at East Lake in the correct order three weeks ahead of time. Don't worry, the prize is one million dollars, but it's far more likely that the grand prize winner will merely get another $1,000 gift card to their local PGA Tour Superstore. In news, the U.S. Women's Am has been tremendous cocktail golf in the evenings, the DPWT has an SGS leaderboard early, and Hudson Swafford spoke out about his suspension from the PGA Tour. We round out the week with some Golf Advice about a child's day at the Senior Open and asking for more strokes on a golf trip.

It's time for the playoffs! Andy and Brendan are thrilled to discuss the most important three weeks in golf, kicking off this week at TPC Initech in Memphis for the FedEx St. Jude Championship. 69 of the top 70 players on the PGA Tour will tee it up in the first round of the FedEx Cup Playoffs, with only Rory McIlroy skipping out. This has caused plenty of commotion and Peppy Peter says a new "Rory Rule" may be implemented to force all who qualify to play the three playoff events moving forward. Speaking of the playoffs, Brendan discovered that the Wikipedia article for this first round has become an a minefield of past sponsors and jumbled histories, not unlike the PGA Tour's winner list that deems Cameron Young as "Mr. 1,000." Mr. 1,000 is in Memphis, searching for another strong finish that would place him ahead of Keegan Bradley in the Ryder Cup standings. The calls for Captain Keegan to not pick himself as a player are growing louder by the day, so he'll need to play well in the postseason to silence the doubters. Elsewhere on the schedule this week, the Champions Tour is back stateside in Seattle, the DP World Tour's notable list is... something, and the U.S. Women's Am heads to Bandon. In news, the Creator Classic is returning to East Lake and an SGS favorite announces his last start on Tour.

Andy runs through more "Storylines Nobody's Talking About," including the Sheriff finding a partner with jurisdiction in the United Kingdom, 19-year-old Dick Teder "aura farming" with his mullet, and Calamity Corner casualty in Cameron Young. Wyndham Clark's ban from Oakmont is discussed at length before Andy enlightens Brendan on what happened with the TV broadcast, including a star turn for a former major champion! Andy and Brendan are bouncing after a full two days at Oakmont and ready to debrief in this burly episode previewing the 2025 U.S. Open. They begin with some initial thoughts on Pittsburgh and their first couple days at Oakmont. There's a wide ranging discussion on the golf course and some of the immediate impressions on just how difficult it will be, where it will pop the best, how to avoid disasters, and if it can get away with tricks just based on its reputation. They run through some of the favorites like Scottie Scheffler, Bryson DeChambeau, Rory McIlroy, and Jon Rahm and some of the amusing, alarming, and affirming quotes and trends from top players. As is tradition, they run through their favorite tee times, and offer the “worst” tee time for the first two rounds. They empty out the notebook with other delights and scuttlebutt from the ground before bringing in The Boys to chat about their interview with Cam Young, a day caddying alongside Bryson, and a debate over some games within the game. There's also a big announcement about a new SGS endeavor coming next week with CBS Sports.

This quick Sunday episode was recorded right after the "pillow fight" of a playoff between Ryan Fox and Sam Burns at the 2025 RBC Canadian Open. Andy is ecstatic about Foxy's victory Monday and subsequent move into the top 35 in the OWGR, hoping that this could get him a spot on the International Team for next year's Presidents Cup. Brendan and Andy recap an SGS-filled top of the leaderboard at TPC Toronto that ended in one of the worst playoffs in PGA Tour history. PJ is called on to explain Cameron Young's Sunday round and blowup on the 72nd hole but he claims this was positive momentum heading into the U.S. Open. A premature game of Oakmont Contender or Pretender is played following Rory's adventurous week with his driver and Phil's near-win at LIV Virginia. Brendan received some on-the-ground intel from RTJ, where Joaquin Niemann won yet again. The show wraps with some Oakmont chatter about rough content, a weekend of rain, and excitement for what's to come in the week ahead at the 125th United States Open.

The three then preview this week's LIV Korea event and discuss the current state of Jon Rahm, David Puig, and Richard Bland, among others. In news, departments within the PGA Tour are shifting a bit and tournament weeks are now "event weeks" for these local communities. Before Golf Advice, "The Boys" get Brendan's thoughts on the latest 100 men vs. one gorilla hypothetical and wonder which pro golfers would be the biggest assets in this kind of fight. Rumor has it that Brendan is still in line to ride Hagrid's Motorbike Adventure, so Andy is joined by "The Boys" (Joseph LaMagna and PJ Clark) to preview the Zurich Classic and the rest of this week in golf. Andy and Joseph run through some notable pairings for this week's team event on the PGA Tour, a tournament that some have called the "Mule Super Bowl." Joseph shares his take that more players should participate in the Zurich due to the amount of FedEx Cup points at stake in an event where one can be carried by a teammate. Andy and "The Boys" make up a few teams that they wish were in the field for this week, calling back memories of iconic moments in SGS history and wondering how some players could earn their first wins on the PGA Tour. Andy grills PJ about the future of Champions Tour Minute following his big interview with John Daly, and the Senior Tour's return is previewed ahead of the Mitsubishi Classic. Joseph and Andy run through the top storylines ahead of the first women's major of the year, the Chevron Championship, taking place in Texas this weekend. In news, Xander Schauffele debuted his new app and has PJ hooked on all of his exclusive content with more to come soon, and a new crop of "creators" are involved in the next Creator Classic, leading to Joseph wondering what Wes Bryan and the rest of the original crew are up to.

Andy and Brendan are back at home after a week in Georgia but still reflecting on what Brendan has deemed "the greatest Masters" of his life. This episode unpacks some of the more emotional elements surrounding Rory's win and subsequent completion of the career slam. The two discuss how Rory's sustained relevance in majors without a win could parallel to struggles in any person's life before comparing McIlroy's current career standing with Phil Mickelson's. Andy wonders what Justin Rose is doing to prepare for majors given his performance in weekly PGA Tour events and also demands apologies from the Corey Conners contingent who were not pleased with his takes last week. Picks are made for the RBC Heritage as this gambling podcast looks to stay hot after picking another winner last week. PJ then hosts a lengthy round of In-Out-Alternate for this week's alternate field event in PuntaCana, featuring some SGS favorites and plenty of winners from the early 2010s.
