This new law represents a seismic shift in how healthcare professionals will be treated by their regulators. Health professionals must submit, if required by their boards, to receive medical treatment even if it violates their conscience. Bill-36 Health Professions and Occupations Act is soon to be law. Barry's guests are Bob Yeager, who practices employment law in British Columbia (https://yeageremploymentlaw.com/); and, Dr. Taylor Bean, ND who is a naturopathic physician and an advocate for vaccine choice nor coercion. Both lawyer Yeager and Dr. Bean hold the view that the net effect of this legislation will mean that a sizeable number of health professionals will leave BC. If that happens it will have a devastating effect on healthcare in the province. Health professionals, from other parts of the country, contacted First Freedoms to say they are concerned that this type of legislation may well come to their provinces. We will see. In the meantime, listen in to this conversation about the concerns that our guests have about this new legislation.
