This is episode 39, OMG we are close to having 40 episodes. Once again I am a little behind in posting a podcast. But, we are finally caught up and I have an episode or two I am waiting to post. This episode we are still waiting for new games to come out, so the episode is a little shortly than usually. However, we did get a new microphone. So the podcast should sound a little better or you hear us a little clearer…lol…Also we talk about the Club Cosplay events I attended and me becoming an Uncle. Of course we discuss our normal topics. More TV show than Movies or Video Games this time. This is still a good episode though. I hope you all like it. Enjoy and stay…Kinda Geeky
Start this Holiday season off with a bang, with the 43th episode of Kinda Geeky. This is another Far and Away episode (kinda). I went down to Temecula, Ca to interview the people behind Club Cosplay. Also side note; sorry for the audio change about 2 minutes in, had to change settings. I got to talk with Ivan and Pilar and Ivan's friend Joe. We talk about the history behind Club Cosplay and some coming events. As well as the usual game and movie topics we normally talk about. There is also a good discuss about the Star Wars episodes. Enjoy and stay….Kinda Geeky

The minds behind Club Cosplay join us on the podcast this week, as we sit down with Ivan Promotions, their founder and owner, and Bernie Bregman, their associate producer and spokesman! Club Cosplay is an event that occurs at nightclubs and conventions around the country, bringing the fun of nightlife in a Nerd Safe way that removes all the usual crap you have to deal with at a club. They'll talk to us about how the idea was brought about, what being Nerd Safe really means, and their upcoming events (including Nerd Pride in Los Angeles). Then we get into a discussion about Geek Culture today, whether we're actually mainstream now, and how events like this can bring us closer together as a community. It's a fascinating discussion you shouldn't miss!
