Well here we are! We have clawed our way to episode 300! What a milestone! It's incredible that anyone cares... Anyway, we have an awesome show for you with new music, new comedy, a huge surprise and the return of Doug Frye from the, sadly now defunct, Schlock Treatment Podcast! We talk the inexplicable Godfrey Ho lady-ninja film Shadow Killers Tiger Force which is every bit as cut and paste as the title suggest and then we get into the meat and potatoes of the show and talk Sho Kosugi in Pray For Death where a ninja faces off with Limehouse Willie over a special necklace... or something. Find out all about it and more on this celebratory, special 300th episode!
Earlier this week we had our good friend Doug Frye on the podcast. Doug was one of the four guys who used to appear on the now defunct Schlock Treatment Podcast. They recorded that show in person and about four years ago I was in New York City for a work trip and had the chance to break away from that and join them for the evening. It was a great time and I wish I could have recorded the whole evening because after we did the show, all of us went to dinner together and I got to have my very own private Schlock Treatment podcast in how I was just able to listen and watch them all interact. I’ll always cherish this chance to meet these guys. And now we present it to you as a bonus episode of Nerd Lunch.
We talk Xanadu with Doug Frye live from Mexico --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app

This week on the show, we have two returning guests, Sue London and Doug Frye and we return to a topic we delved into before back on episode 56 where we turned movies into television shows. Each Nerd chose a movie and gave it a TV show spin along with a new cast and ideas for future story lines. Wrestling! Aliens! Shadow creatures! Wacky adventures! They're all a part of this exciting episode of Nerd Lunch. This episode features talk about Groundhog Day so we have retroactively dedicated it to Harold Ramis. Also, please note that some of the audio in this is not quite up to our desired quality. Apologies in advance for that. See Pax for a refund if you're unhappy.
