And is this the game they get it all right and steal some points on the road? We've got a packed show for you today, so you can excuse us for going around 90-minutes. There is tons of Galaxy news, and it's stuff you need to know before this weekend's game. Hosts Josh Guesman and Eric Vieira talk about all things Galaxy, including why two former players ended up in the Premier League Hall of Fame, looking back on Mike Magee as a goalkeeper and Landon Donovan as the Galaxy's best goalscorer. The guys will also discuss the signing of Rayan Raveloson and why that has the Galaxy shuffling some roster pieces, and what that means for Giancarlo Gonzalez going forward. Plus, are the Galaxy still hunting for more players? We provide some clarification on the Galaxy's "Mystery Man." Plus, how are the Galaxy preparing for international absences, and what tournament have Greg Vanney and his staff been preparing for since the start of the season? And when we have time, Josh will tell stories for money and why he once had Twitter beef with a well-known broadcaster! But the main focus of this episode is getting you through Kevin Cabral's first media availability and learning what Greg Vanney wants to see from the team against Portland. Can Josh keep his prediction streak rolling? Or will Eric crush it with his prediction? We've got a packed show for you, and we can't wait to tell you all of our secrets!

We'll discuss what the defender can bring to the club and why Giancarlo Gonzalez might have some issues. Hosts Josh Guesman and Larry Morgan get you through the glut of news that seeped from the Galaxy this week and get you clued in on where they might be heading for their next signing. Josh will start with his weekly kit update and tell you why an authentic kit should come with all the things the players wear. That includes the sponsor logo and an MLS patch. We'll let you know what the Galaxy are expected to do to fix the problems they've been having with patches and numbers! Then the guys breakdown the contract length of Derrick Williams and talk about how his signing is starting to indicate a trend for Dennis te Kloese and perhaps how Greg Vanney wants to run things. A team that relied so much on International players in 2019 and 2020 suddenly is doing the exact opposite. And did you want to know the Galaxy's preseason schedule? What if we told you it involved Landon Donovan, Bruce Arena, and a trip to Tucson, Arizona? We've got the news details for you that might have you trucking for the southwests deserts. But if you want to know who the Galaxy will face when the season opens up, then you've got some waiting to do. But that might include fans, so get those community kits ready! Finally, Josh and Larry discuss the Galaxy's pursuit of a French winger and why he could check many boxes off for the Galaxy in 2021 and beyond. Is he a diamond in the rough? Or is he just a French Giovani dos Santos? We'll discuss!

Your hosts, Josh Guesman (LA Galaxy Beat Reporter) and Kevin Baxter (LA Times Soccer Reporter), are back to talk about all the interesting storylines to come out of that game. That includes talking about current Galaxy players Giancarlo Gonzalez, Julian Araujo, and Sebastian Lletget. During that conversation, Josh and Kevin will discuss what is expected from Araujo and Lletget as they both enter pivotal years in their developments, and they'll talk about how Llanez got away. And does that mean that Llanez is never coming back? The guys will also talk about the departure of Jorgen Skjelvik, why the Galaxy aren't acknowledging Romain Alessandrini (don't get your hopes up), and Kevin's first impressions of Victoria Block. Do you like the name? Does it matter (No!)? Finally, the Guys will discuss the Galaxy's preseason scrimmage with Vancouver and tell you why Chicharito is a big question mark. And which international finally made his way to DHSP? Emiliano Insúa is finally in Los Angeles. Could he make a debut in the scrimmage? Things are heating up in Los Angeles. And with the CBA still up in the air, could there be big news this week? Or are we looking at another extension? Everything is covered in today's show. We hope you enjoy it!

COG MERCHANDISE (SCARVES, T-SHIRTS, BUTTONS, COASTERS): http://www.cornerofthegalaxy.com/SHOP COG STUDIOS, Calif. -- The LA Galaxy are getting ready for a challenging game on Saturday when the Philadelphia Union come into town. The Union are in good form and have been improving every game. And like the Galaxy, have won three in a row coming into the match. On today's show, your hosts Josh Guesman and Larry Morgan are back to bring you the big news from the Galaxy and get you ready for this weekend's match. First, Josh and Larry will breakdown the somewhat complicated signing of 31-year-old Costa Rican defender Giancarlo Gonzalez and how he was almost a Galaxy player in 2012. They'll talk salary, allocation rankings, and why the Galaxy did an excellent job in getting Gonzalez for a relatively small sum of money and didn't overpay for the allocation slot they wanted. And do the Galaxy even need Gonzalez with Daniel Steres playing so well through the first five games of the season? Are the Galaxy too dependent on foreign players at the moment and would someone want some their talented domestic players? Then the guys take a look back on what Dennis te Kloese has been able to accomplish in the short amount of time he's been with the club. How would you rate his accomplishments so far, and why should Chris Klein get credit? We'll discuss it all. Josh and Larry will also take a look at some controversy surrounding the firing of an LA Galaxy Academy coach and what his brother had to do with the Galaxy losing out on some top prospects. Is there some villany afoot? To close out the show, the guys will talk about the Galaxy's chances against the Union and give you a crazy congested schedule that is upcoming for the club and tell you where the standings currently have the team. It's over 70 minutes of Galaxy talk just waiting for you. Just hit play! Music Provided by Back Pocket Memory
