Xplicit Fitness is a boutique boxing gym with a tech-based sister company, Kount-!t, which, when combining the two businesses into one vision, makes for an exciting breakthrough in the boxing industry. Golden Glove Champion, Chad Yarvitz, walked away from what most would consider success to pursue what most would consider crazy. In this episode, Chad goes into the rise and fall of his original concept of a sports and boxing complex and how COVID forced him to rethink his business into something better. Chad had his hand in many ventures and was stretching himself too thin. He also was not fully systematizing his business to either increase efficiency or open himself up to becoming a franchise. COVID was the make-or-break moment for him to either close up shop or reshape his company. In this process, Kount-!t was born. We cover everything from how he was introduced to the technology that supports his smart punching bag, why he went the SaaS route, the partners he joined with, where his vision is set, and where YOU might be seeing a Kount-!t bag in the near future. Golden Glove Champion, Chad Yarvitz, walked away from what most would consider success to pursue what most would consider crazy. In this episode, Chad goes all the way back to his childhood, and we get to hear about his initial introduction to team sports, martial arts, and boxing. Through his athletic training and watching his dad always hustling, Chad developed a “never quit” attitude when it came to executing on his ideas. But even after accomplishing a 6-figure income at a young age, Chad knew time was ticking for him to get invaluable experience as an athlete and a trainer. We discuss his boxing career, his transition out of professional boxing, starting a gym, his mistakes and failures, what he's learned, and how Covid helped him reshape his business into something much bigger. We, on the Wealth Preservation Podcast, LOVE when someone realizes that they have much more room to grow, despite achieving what others would consider “making it.” Chad took the risk on himself, because he understood that trying, learning, and failing is a far better option than not trying and not learning. It makes you think about what it actually means to “fail.” If you enjoyed Xplicit Fitness' episode and want to hear from more entrepreneurs and strategists, please check out and subscribe to one of our many channels and visit our website. This is a special episode recording of The Inspired Ones show, with special guest Just Isaac, a six-time Canadian boxing champion (Including 2-time Golden Glove Champion), actor, recording artist & motivational speaker and now author. In this discussion, Nick and Just Isaac talk his journey as an athlete turned entrepreneur - the similarities, differences, what makes some exceptional at each, and why we are seeing a convergence of the two professions. What is it about high performance? And can anyone tap into that space within themselves? They also dive into the concept of “Think Fearlessly” - addressing the fears, isolation and uncertainty of entrepreneurship, that which the existing pandemic has impacted affected us to an even larger extent. It's important to step outside ourselves and know there is something bigger than ourselves, to cope. A very personal choice, but one that allows us to move forward. Just Isaac believes, “We are free to be the best we can be, whatever the circumstance.” Pay attention to the difference between negativity and support. “Think Fearlessly” helps readers through the noise and leads them to the peace. This was a group conversation and you will hear audience members join in the discussion.
Some people know that it’s healthy to eat homemade food, and they want to take care of themselves in terms of healthy diet. That means, they’ve got knowledge and motivation. However, they still don’t cook at home. Why is that? Spider Jones, who is a famous Canadian journalist, author and former three-time Golden Glove Champion boxer, was one of the guest speakers at an online event this past weekend. And he gave us the secret answer to how he made his dream at 10 years old happen after 30 years! You’ll never have to spend 30 years if you listen to today’s episode. Let’s have a listen together! Your host Charlie Wang, based in Toronto Canada, is the founder of this podcast show. His father is a stroke survivor. He started this podcast, because he wanted to help people with the knowledge of healthy food to avoid what had happened to his father and his friend. He hopes you will all be healthy, and have healthy relationships and better lives because you and your family are all physically healthy, and eating better. Feel free to post what you would like him NOT to talk about, and what you cooked yesterday. Just Isaac (JI) is a six-time Canadian boxing champion (Including 2-time Golden Glove Champion), actor, recording artist & motivational speaker. “Think Fearlessly” is a book rooted in the author's heart, bounded by and cultivated in his faith, professional background, and the passion it took to rise to the top. “Think Fearlessly” by Balboa Press, walks readers down a path that teaches the art of embracing their potential through all the obstacles. JI gives insight into how to reach that point in your life. If you have a dream, you must do the work, believe in yourself and your ability to get it done, against all odds. JI's life experiences, both personal and professional will guide you on how to stay on your path, never someone else's and how important it is to keep destructive people and thoughts that come your way… from getting in the way. Ignore the negative. Learning to deal with and embrace these experiences, constructively, is a part of who we are and who we become. Think ahead, visualize where you want to be and move towards that goal. JI's faith and ability to stay focused through the years has made him a success and “Think Fearlessly” is a road map to that success. “Think Fearlessly” takes on issues that life brings to all of us. This past year has been a testament to that. The fears, isolation and uncertainty of the existing pandemic changed our lives. It's important to step outside ourselves and know there is something bigger than ourselves, to cope. A very personal choice, but one that allows us to move forward. JI believes, “We are free to be the best we can be, whatever the circumstance.” Also, there is wisdom in the words of those who have led before us. Pay attention to the difference between negativity and support. “Think Fearlessly” helps readers through the noise and leads them to the peace. --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/tyrideius-brownlow/support
Vinny OBrien Motocross Racer, Golden Glove Champion, Pro boxer, Alaskan Commercial Fisherman and now works as Professional Stuntman and Actor. Vinny feels competing and fighting in wrestling and boxing taught him critical thinking and a base for everything. Brian loves the grind which led him to becoming an Alaskan Commercial Fisherman which was interesting for me to hear about. He got started in the movie industry by getting a part in Creed. He really feels Jiu-Jitsu is the best thing you can do for your kid to set them up for success. Loved hearing his mindset about how he approaches everything.
