In this episode of the Attention Retention podcast, host Jack McManus, CEO of KJ Media, shares four essential tips for leveraging driver personas in recruitment campaigns. The first tip is to train your recruiters on who the driver personas are, what they look for in an employer, and how to tailor their search to specific candidates. Tip two is to think ahead and tailor follow-up communications to each persona's communication preferences. Tip three is to identify the right social media platforms to target each persona and run automated campaigns via email or text. The fourth and final tip is to deliver personalized content by tailoring messaging to each persona's unique needs and goals. By implementing these tips, recruiters can save time by focusing on specific candidates, reducing turnover, and reaching hiring goals more quickly. Tailoring communication and messaging to each persona's preferences can also improve recruitment experiences for all parties involved.
Today, The Two Mikes hosted Jack (John) McManus and Wayne Morrow from the John Birch Society (JBS). Jack McManus was a long time senior official of JBS, and finished his career there as the president of the organization. He wrote a book called The John Birch Society - Its History Recounted By Someone Who Was There. In his book, Mr. McManus explains the way in which the Society defeated those who tried to paint it as communist, racist, anti-Semitic, and anti-American. He said that the late William F. Buckley, Jr. was a main purveyor of these lies, while simultaneously claiming to be defending the very American values that JBS was actually founded to defend and advance. Mr. McManus said that Buckley told more lies about JBS than all of the organization's attackers combined. JBS's Wayne Morrow also joined us to speak briefly about the war that is being waged by most of the world's governments against the world's 550 million independent farmers, by denying them access to fertilizer, starving them, and forcing them to sell their land to corporate farming interests. Two of the most aggressive anti-farmer campaigns are being waged against the world's number one and number two largest agricultural producers -- the United States and The Netherlands. In the United States, the main purchasers of farmland in California are from India, China, and Canada. The government of California also is deliberately making the state's farmlands arid by allowing fresh water sources to flow into the Pacific Ocean. Mr. Morrow said that he recently has been covering the government's war on independent farmers and that the coming issue of JBS's New American Magazine will be devoted to that issue. --The JBS website is https://www.jbs.org and its telephone number is 1-800-jbs-usa1 https://www.fgfbooks.com/McManus/McManus-bio.html Please go on the www.twomikes.us website Contact page to send questions or inquiries Sponsors Our Gold Guy: https://www.ourgoldguy.com EMP Shield: https://www.empshield.com/?coupon=twomikes www.TwoMikes.us

Playwright Jack McManus returns to the podcast this month to discuss one of his favorite Peanuts specials: "Why, Charlie Brown, Why?" from 1990. This first TV special of the 90's arose out of Schulz's desire to honestly talk to kids about cancer. One of the Peanuts kids is diagnosed with leukemia and we follow the others as they process this information. It's a heavy episode. Does it manage to both entertain and inform? Unfortunately, there were some audio issues that makes Jack hard to hear for a lot of the discussion. Don't give up, though, it's good stuff if you just bump up the volume a little. My apologies. Thanks to Kevin McLeod at Incompetech.com for creative commons use of his songs "Mining by Moonlight" and "Base Walker". Thanks to Henry Pope for the use of his "Linus & Lucy" remix. Greetings, fellow blockheads! IT'S A PODCAST, CHARLIE BROWN Episode 35 is here! Just so you're not confused, I messed with the schedule this month and not just because this episode is dropping a day late. We've still got a random strip of the month. We've still got a "Peanuts by Schulz" short (this one is called "Reach for the Stars"). We even still have episode 17 (the penultimate one!) of "The Charlie Brown & Snoopy Show". BUT, we're shelving the planned "A Good Man, Charlie Brown" discussion until a later date. I had the unexpected good fortune of booking an interview with playwright Jack McManus about his new musical "Sparky", which debuted earlier this year in New York. The play presents significant points in Schulz's life and sounds very cool. I think you'll agree the scheduling change was well worth it. Even we blockheads get it right once in a while. Go here to donate to William Johnson's "Peanuts on Parade: A Tribute to Charles Schulz" book Kickstarter. Listeners who kick in $50 or more get an extra photo! Thanks to Kevin McLeod at Incompetech.com for creative commons use of his songs "Mining by Moonlight" and "Bass Walker". Thanks to Henry Pope for the use of his "Linus & Lucy" remix. Hear that and more of his music on Soundcloud here. It's a Podcast, Charlie Brown - Show notes, episodes, social media Atari Bytes - Hey! That's my other show!
