Replicas is a 2018 American science fiction thriller film directed by Jeffrey Nachmanoff, and written by Chad St. John, from a story by Stephen Hamel. The film tells the story of a neuroscientist who violates the law and bioethics to bring his family members back to life after they die in a car accident. It stars Keanu Reeves, Alice Eve and Thomas Middleditch.
Join Chris as he analyzes & reviews Replicas, the 2019 sci-fi drama thriller movie, directed by Jeffrey Nachmanoff & starring Keanu Reeves. A scientist becomes obsessed with bringing back his family members who died in a traffic accident. Pet Sematary with Keanu Reeves as a scientist?! Sounds like perfect B-movie material! But does it deliver on it's premise? Does it have the budget to match it's ambition? Does it have the cardinal B movie sin, of trying to be good? Is Keanu as awesome as he is in John Wick? Most importantly, what was that ending?! SPOILERS BEGIN at 8:00 Watch Replicas on iTunes Support us by giving a review on iTunes Want to hear more? Visit our Home
This is what we Lodgecast for ladies and gentlemen! We Go Out of Our Way to Watch Weird Movies so You Don't Have To! Ain't no one in the whole wide world gonna see in theaters a little movie Keanu Reeves did called Replicas. We ate at Marie Callender's in Monterey Park and then proceeded directly to the AMC Atlantic Times Square 14 to see the sci-fi techno-thriller Replicas. Some stiff drinks at Marie Callender's knocked one Lodge viewer out, but the rest of us remained alert for a fun-filled biotechnological evening. Directed by Jeffrey Nachmanoff, written by Chad St. John, from a story by Stephen Hamel, Replicas delivers to us a wild adventure tale on human replication. The sequences of Keanu Reeves endlessly hacking through his virtual reality computer interfaces will stay in our hearts and minds forever. No techtards here!
This episode contains spoilers! Today I watched Replicas directed by Jeffrey Nachmanoff and starring Keanu Reeves, Alice Eve, Thomas Middleditch, John Ortiz and several others.
Benjamin and Kaelan explore some brain science in their review of Replicas, starring Keanu Reeves and directed by Jeffrey Nachmanoff. The review is SPOILER-FREE with a spoiler section after.

Dave and Diane review Traitor.Acting: Diane liked the acting alot. Dave, on the other hand, didn't think the acting was spectacular, but said that it was quite competent. They both thought that Don Cheadle and Guy Pierce had very good performances.Directing: Dave was pleased to see that this was Jeffrey Nachmanoff's first major directing credit, and said it was a great debut. Dave's only complaint was that the movie stradled the line between and action and intrigue a bit too much. Diane said that Nachmanoff did a very good job.Plot: Diane liked the story a great deal. She said it was quite interesting, and provided a slightly different look into the world of terrorism. Dave also liked the plot, but thought it was a bit slow and perdictable for the first have but picked up a great deal. He also remarked that it played off the stereotype of an extremist terrorist a bit much.Message: Diane liked the message of this movie. She reiterrated her point that it showed the story from the point of view of a Muslim, and said that it left her thinking. Dave took a different take on this film's messages. He believed that it was actually highlighting the point that, in every group of people, there are good and bad individuals. He quite liked this point.Music: Dave said that the music wasn't overly original, but that it was quite effective in highlighting the scenes. Diane said that she was so engrossed in the film that she didn't take much note of the music. She believed that this was a sign that it underscored the scenes well.Overall Grades: Both Dave and Diane gave this movie a B overall, and said that it was pretty good. Each recommended viewing it, as there is not a whole lot out at the moment. Dave's DVD of the Week: For the second time, this segment was taken over by Diane, who reviewed Hairspray. To all those who enjoy musicals, Diane highly recommended this movie. She thought it was great all around: the cast was phenomenal (especially Christopher Walken and John Travolta), the message was also very good, and the movie was filled with a great deal of joy. Overall, she gave the movie an A.It may be late, and there may be no notes, but heck, Dave got this beast out on Thursday and with no clicks. Thank you, and keep it Reel readers! The music for this episode was provided by the Podshow Podsafe Music Network.
