That's 4 months…plenty of time to knit or crochet an adult-size sweater…or two! We have bundles for inspiration! Beginner sweaters are here. Adventurous Beginners to Advanced sweaters are here Crocheters! Your sweaters are here ANYONE can add sweaters to the bundles! There will be prizes - just post a picture of your lovely finished sweater in our FOs thread. Do you have some sweaters in progress? WIPs count as long as the sweater is less than 50% done on September 1st. Less than 50% done is your call. We don't have to “approve” your project. D.O. or Do Not: The Osteopathic Physician's Journey for Premed & Medical Students

On this episode of the D.O. or Do Not Podcast, we interview Dr. Laura Wolfe a non-invasive cardiologist and mother of 2. Dr. Wolfe attended medical school at the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic medicine, completed her internal medicine residency at NYU-Winthrop Hospital, and continued to pursue a fellowship in cardiovascular disease at that institution. She currently works with a large group practice affiliated with Stony Brook University Hospital. On today's interview, Dr. Wolfe will share her medical journey, how she navigated and excelled as a D.O. in a predominantly M.D. residency, and how she has excelled as a female physician in a male dominated sub-specialty. Dr. Wolfe will also reflect on her relationship with her late aunt and role model Dr. Natalie Assalone whose story was featured in episode #75 during the interview with Dr. Philip Nizza.

Laura Wolfe is back as my guest with her new book a children's horse book - Henrietta's Hoof Polish. Henrietta will do almost anything to fit in with the fancy horses next door. But when her plan to be discovered at the annual Blue Ribbon Horse Show does not work out as intended, Henrietta realizes that the grass may be the greenest in her own pasture. Suggested age range for readers: 3-8 Laura Wolfe is also the proud Finalist in the 2016 Indie Next Generation Indie Book Awards—First Novel category. Her picture book, Henrietta's Hoof Polish, was published in 2016 by Guardian Angel Publishing. Laura is a lover of animals and nature. When she is not writing, she can be found playing games with her highly-energetic kids, riding horses, growing vegetables in her garden, or spoiling her rescue dog. She lives in her home state of Michigan with her husband, son, and daughter. Laura's YA mystery, Trail of Secrets (Book 1, Dark Horse Series) (Fire and Ice, 2015), was named as a Finalist in the 2016 Next Generation Indie Book Awards—First Novel category.  Laura holds a BA in English from the University of Michigan and a JD from DePaul University. She is an active member of multiple writing groups, including Sisters in Crime, International Thriller Writers, and the SCBWI.
