“Life That Can't Be Killed” proclaims the victorious hope of the resurrection found in 1 Corinthians 15, celebrating Jesus' defeat of death and the promise of imperishable, glorified bodies for all who trust in Him.
Sam Peckinpah embodies the essence of what the Kill or Be Killed project is all about like no other filmmaker. Bleak, nihilistic and brutal, Bring Me the Head of Alfredo Garcia is a relentless journey through the dark landscapes of Mexico following the grisly journey of a desperate man expertly portrayed by Warren Oates. From top to bottom excellent performances are logged in by Oates, Isela Vega, Robert Weber and Kris Kristofferson. Intro: “All the Dark Things” – Mike Hill Outro: “Adelita” – Jerry Fielding

Balsa Policy Institute chose as its first mission to lay groundwork for the potential repeal, or partial repeal, of section 27 of the Jones Act of 1920. SERIES 2 EPISODE 192: COUNTDOWN WITH KEITH OLBERMANN A-Block (1:44) SPECIAL COMMENT: Trump has now floated reinstating the Military Draft. He put the words in the mouth of the last of his Secretaries of Defense and that guy – Christopher Miller who sat back and watched January 6th unfold nearly as much as Trump did – dressed the draft up as “A National Service Requirement.” It seems to be targeted at 18, 19, and 20-year old American boys and girls (and maybe 17-year olds) and it would start with a mandatory military aptitude test administered BY the Pentagon IN your local high school and any kid who refused to take it might be prevented from graduating and any school that hesitated to go along with this would lose ALL federal funding. Trump breaking precedent and using the American army domestically to suppress protests and conceivably kill civilians is not the bottom of the plan for the military-dictatorship part of his dictatorship. Those army soldiers, and marines, and whoever else, firing on other Americans – many of them or most of them or maybe all of them, would be draftees. And when The Washington Post reported it, and the story got no traction and no pick-up at all, and even though the paper reported Trump had not expressly endorsed the draft, within six hours Trump posted an enraged denial reading “In fact, I never even thought of that idea” which even for him is a disastrously transparent non-denial denial. Of course HE never thought of that idea: when has Donald Trump ever thought anything about a military draft – except how to dodge it. Somebody ELSE thought of that idea. The somebody else is that former Secretary of Defense Christopher Miller. The Post interviewed Miller and he said a national service requirement should be “strongly considered. He described the concept as a common “rite of passage,” one that would create a sense of “shared sacrifice” among America's youth." The impact this Washington Post story, could have on Trump's campaign would be nothing short of fatal – if only it were to be handled correctly by BIDEN'S campaign: Trump wants to reinstate the draft. The. DRAFT. Is there a more powerful campaign message than “Trump wants to draft your kids”? “Trump Wants To Force Your Kids To Kill Or Be Killed?” Actually there is. Because the voting age is not what it was in the ‘60s. The 18-year olds vote. There IS a more powerful campaign message and it is “Trump wants to draft YOU. Trump Wants To Force YOU to Kill or Be Killed.” ALSO: Trump's felony conviction means he can't own a gun in Florida. So why has he had one longer than Hunter Biden had his? And what about Washington State's law allowing any voter to challenge any candidate's ballot position if he's been convicted of a felony? And why is Alvin Bragg voluntarily appearing at Jim Jordan's hearing - the day after Trump will be sentenced? B-Block (25:20) THE WORST PERSONS IN THE WORLD: A Twitter follower of mine puts Chris Cillizza and Nate Silver in the same tweet just to mess with me. Jonathan Martin, who has spent a year talking about nothing but Joe Biden's age, complains that nobody has talked about Joe Biden's age (and works Aaron Sorkin into it, somehow) and the Republican who wants to be Senator from Minnesota, Royce White, explains the campaign funds may have been spent AT the all-nude strip club but that doesn't mean they were spent on STRIPPERS since they serve FOOD at all-nude strip clubs. C-Block (34:00) THINGS I PROMISED NOT TO TELL: As I read of Stephen A. Smith demanding that ESPN pay him more than it pays Pat McAfee, I flashed back to the days when the studio-show audiences there were way more profitable than they are now and ESPN was make $60 million a year from SportsCenter and they were paying me $300,000 and I asked for $3,000,000. Oh the look on their faces delights me to this day. How I Quit SportsCenter...See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
The Waverider has crossed us over to a new reality. One where the Tomorrow People, with telepathy, telekinesis, and teleportation abilities, are on the run from the government run ULTRA organization. “Girl, Interrupted” is a parallel story. We have Cara's heartbreaking past being told in a series of flashbacks. She was a deaf high school student being raised by a single father alongside her younger sister. One of her high school classmates attempts to sexually assault her. Her powers manifest and she telekinetically pushes him away twice, killing him in the process. Her breakout somehow heals her deafness. But she is in jail for the murder with no chance of getting out. She teleports out to her home. Her dad pushes her out and she telepathically hears him say they are better off without her. This leads to her mistrust of normal humans. She is scared and insulates herself with the Tomorrow People Our other girl in this parallel story is Emily. She is a high school classmate of Stephen. She and Stephen have been on similar paths mentally. Her sister was killed in a car accident with a train and Emily feels responsible. Stephen is at a party with Astrid and he telepathically hears her thinking about suicide. He wants to intervene but both Cara and Jed advise him not to do it. In the end, Cara steps in and convinces her it is not her fault and to live. Stephen sneaks in a data link that will connect ULTRA and TIM. But it is found, and Jed sends agents to trap the Tomorrow People. They capture Cara. Stephen tires to prove his loyalty to Jed by offering to take Cara's powers. He is able to stop time and switch out the drugs and Cara fakes being neutralized. It seems to fool Jed and his assistant. "Kill or Be Killed" gives us John's backstory. John was rescued from a bad foster care dad by Jed. We see him learn the skills and abilites that make him such a great fighter now. But we learn that Jed experimented on the Tomorrow People to give them the ability to kill by blocking parts of their brain through intense drug therapy. Killian was a success but went rogue and John had to track him down. Now Killian is back and hunting his former friend. John has to face him again and we learn that John has the ability to kill as well. We kick off season 2 with the 1976 South African/American martial arts flick Kill or Be Killed. An ex-Nazi commander who lost a karate match to a Japanese opponent in a factually inaccurate past Olympic Games organizes a martial arts tournament to seek revenge while Chico the midget does cartwheels and offers $5,000 plus expenses to fighters. Our friend Mike Spada returns for this discussion.
Acomi and Turk182 are brought together to compete in a Let's Watch! rematch featuring South African karate master James Ryan. Consisting of three films, Kill Or Be Killed (1980), Kill and Kill Again (1981), and Space Mutiny (1988). Martial artist Steve Hunt (the Hunt comes before the Chase. See Let's Watch! Kill and Kill Again.), is hired by a Nazi to compete in a martial artist competition against his Japanese adversary, Miyagi. Having lost to Miyagi at the 1936 Olympics, the team leader needs Steve's expert skills to finally win. But, he's a Nazi, sooooooo... Join Acomi and Turk as they fight Nazis and apartheid by making fun of a movie that's more karah-tee than karah-tay. In this Let's Watch! competition it's either Kill or Be Killed! Acomi and Turk182, along the occasional special guest, provide running commentary of awfulsome movie and TV shows. The hosts select movies that either one, or both, have never seen. All jokes and comments are improvised. NO PREPARED JOKES OR COMMENTS! During recording, the movies are watched at a low volume and with the subtitles on. Viewers may want to turn subtitles on as well to enhance the viewing experience. So, cue up the audio, ready the movie, and hit play when we say so. Note: This video is the commentary recorded by Acomi and Turk182, and selected screenshots. It is NOT a viewable copy of the film. The commentary can be enjoyed on its own, but if you want to experience the Let's Watch in all its glory, you'll need your own copy of the movie. Most of the movies viewed can be streamed online for free. #OMTWF #KorovaEntertainment #LetsWatch #LW #Acomi #Turk182 #awfulsome #KillOrBeKilled1980 #JamesRyan #SouthAfrica #KIllOrBeKilled #KIllandKillAgain Follow Acomi on Twitter at @AcomiDraws and on Instagram at AcomiDraws. Due to an unforeseen mix-up - we'll blame Acomi - This Let's Watch! of a movie sequel was posted before the Let's Watch! of the first movie. Please, try your best to follow the intricate plot. Acomi and Turk182 dive head first into their James Ryan mini-marathon with the sequel to Kill or Be Killed (1977), Kill and Kill Again (1981). This time, martial arts "master" Steve Hunt is now Steve Chase, and instead of working for a Nazi, he's been hired to rescue a kidnapped scientist. Steve travels the globe to assemble a crew composed of former friends/allies, whom he has to either fight or convince to join him on his mission. The best of the best hires the not so best of the worst. But, they'll have to prove their worth to save Kandy Kane's father. Just let that last part sink in. We could tell you all about the mind control drug doctor Kane created that is being used by the bad guy. Or, how the only black man in the movie is named "Gorilla". Or, how this movie was made in South Africa during apartheid. But, why spoil the fun? Join Acomi and Turk as the learn the ancient ways of the martial arts, and the precise way to Kill and Kill Again! Acomi and Turk182 decide to watch Battlestar Galactica, but don't want to invest the time. So, they choose the next best/worst thing, Space Mutiny (1988). Starring Captain America himself, Reb Brown, and the martial arts master of Kill or Be Killed and Kill, and Kill Again, James Ryan. Described by some as Mutiny on the Bounty in space (no one calls it that), the film is a taut political thriller about a military coup in space. A space coup. A Space Mutiny. What more can be said about a movie whose plot is as thin as the air they're flying around in. If you want to see boxy, low riding, go-carts along with hula hoop dancing, incredibly wide shoulder pads, a man with an unexplained limp, and the cult of Stevie Nicks, then sic semper tyrannis. Join Acomi and Turk as they struggle to understand the plot, and strange future fashions, that await us in the not-too-distant-future. A time when we've left the Earth behind. Along with storytelling, common sense, and quality special effects. And, the only thing we brought with us is mutiny. #OMTWF #KorovaEntertainment #LetsWatch #LW #Acomi #Turk182 #awfulsome #SpaceMutiny #RebBrown #JamesRyan Follow Acomi on Twitter at @AcomiDraws and on Instagram at AcomiDraws. Brubaker and Phillips issue the ultimate "Would You Rather" with their moral thought experiment/pulpy crime thriller Kill or Be Killed, and the Runners are ready to play! (For us, it's going to be "Kill".) Depressed graduate student Dylan's life goes from bad to worse when he finds himself locked to a contract with a demon requiring him to kill one person each month or forfeit his own life, but soon finds a new sense of purpose when his unexpected calling empowers him to confront evil in ways he never imagined. Topics of discussion include the book's divisive ending, the Sean Phillips showcase in the artwork, and an investigation into whether Dr. Dre is actually a doctor. Romans 8:12-14, Jeff Duncan Main Point: Since living according to the flesh brings death to the soul, embrace living according to the Spirit and bring death to sin. The post Kill or Be Killed appeared first on Grace Church Crystal Coast.
On May 16, 1998, Carole Garton and her unborn baby were shot to death in their home. Almost immediately, the prime suspect confessed to killing her, but he had no motive. The confession was only the beginning of what proved to be a bizarre and twisted plot involving multiple assassinations and a supposed covert military operation called "The Company". This week we pay homage to a titan of cinematic machismo with a review of the semi forgotten James Caan/Petey Boyle road comedy oddity, Slither (1973) Then we bust out our ladles and fish up a lost dreg, festering at the bottom of the filmic slop trough since 1993 in the bizarre, mannequin-based revenge thriller, Kiss and Be Killed. This episode features actress Anja Taljaard in support of her newest film, Glasshouse: Kill or Be Killed. After chatting with director Kelsey Egan about the movie, I was very excited to get Anja's take on what can be quite a confusing horror thriller. We talked about how Anja initially became a part of the project and what her take on the original script was. Learning that she was asked to read for two separate roles during the audition was more than interesting, so we clearly embellished on that a bit. Touching on the fun bits, in the beginning, we eventually move into spoiler territory for the movie so be sure to listen for that warning if you haven't yet checked out the movie. We were able to dig into the real goods and bones of the film once we were off the leash, so it's worth listening to the whole episode at your own risk of plot reveal. Be sure to check out Glasshouse: Kill or Be Killed, on digital now from Voyage Media!
After the “12 for 12” era in Boston Rap, there was an influx of rappers from the scene who came and went. There are others, however, who seemed to gain a solid following while creating at a high level over and over again. Amongst those names we have the laid back flow and sometimes melodic Kam'Geez. The Dorchester born, Chelsea raised “High-End Hustler” has earned the respect of many fellow creatives and while he hasn't always been the most consistent, he's always been able to keep his core following engaged with his loose singles and EP drops. Just like Charlie MaSheen described the “In Due Time” creator, Kam'Geez has been considered an unsung hero in the eyes of many supporters of our music scene. Over the years he's worked with Boston names like Rosewood Bape, Pretty G G Pretty, Vanni Allan Poe, and a frequent collaborator FB fba Nyce Franklin. In 2020 you might have heard Kam's carefully crafted flow on the Sylus Gambino record “Kill or Be Killed” with 8Zipp, also featuring Vanni Allan Poe. With a lot of eyes on the city right now because of some of our bigger named artists, it would be the perfect time to shift into gear and give the people some new work and set himself apart; which is exactly why Kam'Geez chose to come and talk to Charlie MaSheen & KASH on this weeks podcast. Join the guys as they talk about Kam's creative process, how he plans to set himself apart, and the rollout of his latest project “Charge It to The Game”. We also ”rapped” it up with a dope #RedCupsAndRap freestyle on a classic beat that we actually used for last years cypher! TAP IN‼️ BE ON THE LOOK OUT FOR Kam'Geez's UPCOMING RELEASE “Charge It To The Game” that will be available on all DSPs‼️ CHECK OUT ALL OF OUR CONTENT: http://www.linktr.ee/CWTFBradio

In this month's episode, the Undertow crew discusses Kill or Be Killed #16 and the interesting developments happening in the life of Dylan Cross.
