Nuacht Mhall. Príomhscéalta na seachtaine, léite go mall.*Inniu an dara lá déag de mhí Iúil. Is mise Liam Ó Brádaigh.Tháinig na deartháireacha Gallagher ar ais le chéile an tseachtain seo don chéad ceolchoirm dá gcamchuairt aontaithe. Ba é seo an chéad léiriú ó Oasis ó scar an banna sé bliana déag ó shin. Sna blianta idir an dá linn, bhí achrann cáiliúil idir na deartháireacha Gallagher agus bhí amhras ann go mbeadh siad in ann seinm le chéile arís choíche. Ach an tseachtain seo, bhailigh sluaite díograiseacha le chéile chun an banna a fheiceáil agus chun canadh in éineacht le Wonderwall agus Don't Look Back in Anger. Cáineadh an chamchuairt roimhe seo as córas praghsála dinimiciúil a úsáid inar ardaíodh costas na dticéad de réir an éilimh. Aréir sheinn an grúpa os comhair lucht féachana de 80,000 duine i Manchain, an chéad sheó de chúig cinn ina mbaile dúchais, áit ar thosaigh an grúpa in 1991.Beidh uachtar gréine saor in aisce ar fáil do chuairteoirí i bpáirceanna poiblí i gContae Chorcaí an samhradh seo. Tagann cur i bhfeidhm an tionscnaimh seo i ndiaidh do Chumann Ailse na hÉireann a rá go bhfuil riosca méadaithe ailse craicinn ann i measc teochtaí arda. Tuairiscítear gurb í an inacmhainneacht an phríomhchonstaic a chuireann cosc ar dhaoine uachtar gréine a chaitheamh. Beidh na dáileoirí grianscéithe ar fáil i bPáirc na Mara, Páirc Fitzgerald, Páirc Clashduv agus Páirc Meelick ó Luan. Tá foláireamh buí maidir le teocht ard i bhfeidhm do 14 chontae in Éirinn.Cuirfear Taipéis Bayeux ar taispeáint sa Bhreatain tar éis tuairiscí gur aontaigh Uachtarán na Fraince, Emmanuel Macron, cead a thabhairt don saothar ealaíne imeacht ón bhFrainc den chéad uair le 950 bliain. Léiríonn an taipéis, atá beagnach 70 méadar ar fhad, na himeachtaí a ba chúis le concas Normannach Shasana ag Liam Concar i gcoinne a chéile comhraic Harold, Iarla Wessex, agus a chríochnaíonn i gCath Hastings sa bhliain 1066. Mar mhalairt air sin, tabharfaidh Músaem na Breataine bailiúchán Sutton Hoo, fir fichille Lewis agus earraí eile ar iasacht don Fhrainc. Green Day got mad at some kid they pulled up to play Good Riddance, but played Wonderwall instead. What moment from a concert will you never forget.
Green Day has a tradition at their shows of bringing someone onstage, handing them a guitar, and letting them play along on "Good Riddance". But it backfired on them Monday in Luxembourg… and that's why this is a Setting the Bar Story! Source: https://www.nme.com/news/music/watch-billie-joe-armstrong-kick-fan-off-stage-for-playing-oasis-instead-of-green-day-3875232?utm_source=fark&utm_medium=website&utm_content=link&ICID=ref_fark
What happens when you try to hijack a Green Day concert with an Oasis song? On this riotously funny and unexpectedly insightful episode of The Ben and Skin Show, the crew dives into one of the most awkward concert moments in recent memory—and it only gets weirder from there.Green Day vs. Wonderwall: A fan gets on stage to play “Good Riddance”… but strums the opening chords to Oasis's “Wonderwall” instead. Billy Joe Armstrong's reaction? A swift and savage “Oh, F that,” followed by a guitar snatch and stage escort. Chaos ensues.

Episode 406 - Lemme Bayou A Drink We love a good party. Who doesn't, right? Loud music, dancing, drinking, great conversation with great friends. What's not to love? But everyone knows that there are two surefire ways to ruin a good party. One is vampires. We hate that. All they do is stand outside begging to come in all night. It can really put a damper on the evening. But the other, and arguably much worse, party buzz kill is a guy with an acoustic guitar. Nothing sucks the life out of the room like a guy named Blake struggling through Wonderwall. Not even vampires. On second thought, let the vampires in. They seem pretty chill, but tell Blake to kick rocks. THIS WEEKS MOVIES: Sinners THIS WEEKS BEER: Evil Genius Purple Monkey Dishwasher Chocolate Peanut Butter Porter Follow us! Mr. Dominic DiTolla hosts the Sports Experience Podcast with fellow funny boy Chris Quinn! Dom got his start in comedy in Spring of 1994, right around when D2: The Mighty Ducks hit the Silver Screen. Dom splits his time between Tucson, Arizona and his hometown of Fargo, North Dakota. Dom says his biggest inspiration as a comedian was, and always has been Patrick Swayze. "But Patrick Swayze was never a comedian?". Oh what you think Road House, Point Break, and Dirty Dancing were Action/Dramas? That's okay, classic mistake. Anyway, here's Wonderwall, brother.

Oasis is getting back together to the surprise of pretty much everyone, prompting Plumbing the Death Star to ask: hey what exactly is a wonderwall anyway? Why would someone be one? And what does it have to do with the classic Pixar Cars franchise? The guys bring on dear friend and resident Liam Gallagher hater Fletcher to work through the hit song Wonderwall. A song that was and then was not about Liam's then-girlfriend, the meaning was changed to be about an invisible friend that he's gaslighting... but no one is buying it. Least of all us. Special Guest: Fletcher Herman.
Oasis, the Manchester band led by brothers Noel and Liam Gallagher, conquered the charts in the 1990s with rock anthems like "Wonderwall." This month, they did something no one saw coming: Announced a reunion. In 2025, the band will play 19 dates in five cities across the UK and Ireland, their first shows with both brothers in the lineup since breaking up in 2009 due to long-simmering tensions between them. Formed in 1991 with Noel as chief songwriter and guitarist and Liam as lead vocalist, the band helped define the sound of Britpop alongside peers like Blur, Suede, and Pulp. Noel's and Liam's feuding made it seem like the band would never reunite, so this upcoming tour has generated a minor frenzy, resulting in insane ticket prices, the band's songs surging in popularity on streaming services, and countless diehard fans zipping up their parkas in anticipation. As two casual listeners to the band, we want to understand the hype behind this long-awaited reunion, so we went through the band's catalog to uncover what makes this working-class Mancunian outfit so beloved, and see whether we can learn to love Oasis.
