Oh no! Summer is officially over! That doesn't feel so great. Luckily Matt is back with an all new episode of TCA to kick start your autumn and today he's joined by our pal Vanessa Sanchez of She's Got Game on the TSN Radio Network. We'd love it if you'd do the show a solid and leave us a rating and a review there inside your podcast app. It only takes a moment but makes a huge difference for us. Lots to get to today including why Labour Day Weekend still brings a sense of foreboding to adults long after they've finished school, Canada beating the USA in the Gold Medal Game of the IIHF Women's World Hockey Championships, why Hockey Canada crapped all over the event with their inability to identify how unpopular they are right now, Serena Williams retires from the WTA following the US Open, the Ottawa REDBLACKS grab another win to stay relevant in the CFL East, reactions to the recent Netflix doc “Trainwreck: Woodstock 99”, all the latest from the world of golf and so much more. Give Vanessa Sanchez a follow on social media @VanSan3000 and check her out every weekend on She's Got Game across the TSN radio network. Hi avid listeners and welcome to Reel Film Nerds Episode 220! This week Matt and Mike went to the theaters to watch the newest Guy Ritchie film starring Jason Statham, Wrath of Man. Extracurricular topics include body armor, revenge movies, and a brand new Paramount Pictures giveaway. Do you like revenge? Yes? Then this movie is definitely for you. Wrath of Man is a hardcore revenge film from start to finish. It is also a typical Ritchie film starting in the middle of the story and jumping around the timeline. Jason Statham plays a cold calculating gangster, almost too cold at times. The rest of the star studded cast did a great job with their roles too. Did you know Josh Hartnett is still acting, ya neither did we. The story is fantastic, especially weaving throughout the main arc of revenge. If you are looking for an action thriller to enjoy on the big screen then Wrath of Man is a must see. Mike awards the movie 3 out of 5 Reels. Matt enjoyed it way more than Mike which is strange because of Mike’s love of revenge films. Matt gives it 4 out of 5 Reels.  For our next pod Mike slacked off and forgot to pick a film. Luckily Matt is always prepared with a backup. The brand new Angelia Jolie wildfire thriller Those Who Wish Me Dead. It is available in the theaters and streaming on HBO Max.  Thank you for supporting our podcast and we will chat at you next week. If you have a film you would like Matt and Mike to review, email us at nerds@reelfilmnerds.com You can find us on all things social such as YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.  Why not join our Facebook Fan Group so you can yell at Mike and Matt from the comfort of your keyboard while talking about films. We also have an old fashioned website where you can watch trailers, read the host's bios, listen to the podcast, and get a ton more info on the movies we review.  http://www.ReelFilmNerds.com Thank you for liking, subscribing, rating, reviewing, and telling your friends about our podcast. On the show today , I have Matthew Geppert Matt is an old school friend who I still keep in contact with If you didn't know, I bring people onto my show that I can interview and learn from because they are making a difference in their industries and if you listen to closely you will pick up so great tips that will help you on your journey to success Matt like myself was a school leaver but didn't stop him, he got his teeth stuck into recruitment and learnt very early on that he could be a success at this. At the age of 17 he was going into conference rooms and sitting down with CEO's of huge companies but that didn't faze him because he knew his worth and knew he should be there. A lot of people struggle with this, they belittle themselves because they put the job titles on such a peddle stool that you are either fighting an up hill battle or you never begin because you are role on a few years and Matt started his own Recruitment company, that's the beauty of recruitment, you can start solo and still have quick wins straight away. The momentum built and before he knew it he has a number of people working for him and a new partner for the nordic recruitment they went into Matt had a problem though, some might not see this as problem but by the age of the 30 he had reach the levels most people don't reach when they come to retirement age, At the age of 30, Matt exited from the Nordic side of the business, he could've rested and had a few more Pina coladas but he wanted to push on continuing in recruitment, even though the company might be smaller, he as a structure in place where he doesn't need to be so hands on and that's what a lot of business owners struggle with, they cant let go of their baby and no one else can do the job they do because they've not let any attempt the job, Luckily Matt has the structure in place and that let him focus of something else What started out as a conversation with one of his best friends (Daniel Shafron) turned out to be the start of a new business venture Dan has been involved in property 10+ years, he felt that the auction side of it hadn't progressed since the dawn of time, it needed a tech injection and a way to make the research or the property (legal Pack) cheaper and easier to understand After Matt spoke with a person he built a relationship with in recruitment, they realized this had legs With 3 of them + Adam Russell who has been the man who builds the relationships with the auction houses with his expert industry knowledge and experience for 15+ years, they are on a journey to bring the auction houses into the 21st century with Legal packs that can be downloaded online with a fee that is a 5th of the price but doesn't lose any of its quality Matt will speak about the journey, the opportunity during COVID, working with friends and 3 tips to getting started Appreciate you listening / watching the show, thank you On a daily basis I put out content across many social media platforms, Connect with me: Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/marksclairetraining/ LinkedIn: MarkSclaire https://www.linkedin.com/in/mark-sclaire-97202045/ Website: www.marksclaire.com Email: mark@marksclaire.com Phone: +971566556093 ======================= Please support this channel by giving me a like, subscribing or leaving a comment.

Ska music has been a big part of my life for over the past 20 years. I even met my wife because of ska music. Being a teenager in Orange County, California in the mid 90’s you couldn’t escape ska music. However, when others stopped listening, ska music stayed in heavy rotation with me. For this playlist, I followed a very simple plan to make it. I picked something old, something new and something local. Five Iron Frenzy, The O.C. Supertones and Less Than Jake are the bands I’ve been listening to the longest. Millington and The Skluttz are the newest bands on the list. Half Past Two, Hooray For Our Side and Codename:Rocky are some of my favorite hometown bands. I hope you enjoy my picks. 00:00 - O.C. Supertones - Supertones Strike Back (the Supertones Strike Back '97) 02:37 - Hooray for Our Side - Don't Panic (Overture '15) 05:05 - Codename: Rocky - Ctl Alt Del (Reboot '16) 07:22 - Less Than Jake - Motown Never Sounded so Good (Anthem '03) 09:55 - the Skluttz - Ska Police (Confidence is Key '20) 13:15 - Millington - Big Man on Campus (Millington '18) 16:45 - Half Past Two - See You Again (See You Again '20) 19:19 - Five Iron Frenzy - Cool Enough for You (Upbeats & Beatdowns '97) RJ sez: On the Upbeat is a hell of a fun podcast, go back and listen to the older episodes while the show is on break! And for full disclosure, Matt had picked different songs for Hooray for Our Side and Half Past Two, but after Half Past Two put out this killer new single we both knew it had to be included. This, of course, threw off the timing of the episode, so I offered up a change to the Hooray for Our Side song to even things out. Luckily Matt agreed and we have another rad episode! What if James Bond was truly working for Universal Exports, traveling the world and tweeting about his life? This is the basis for the Twitter account @JB_Univex, run by Matt Bunnell who went through all the Ian Fleming stories, added a chronology and sent messages into the world along with pictures and current affairs. Intrigued by this concept, Don contacted Matt and found out he also runs the blog Bond Maps and he has created a Google Map containing more than a thousand pins from the Fleming novels. Luckily Matt was up for a chat and Don questioned Matt on the chronology of James Bond, retracing the journeys Bond makes, and the locations that Fleming used. Along the way they discuss how many eggs Bond can eat, why Bond wasn't born in the year of the Rat and how James Bond disliked watching From Russia With Love in the cinema. Just like Bobby Jindal, Matt-Man and Jayman are tanned rested and ready after their summer vaction. Their return to the real world has been marred by finding out that Bill Cosby admitted to drugging women and Jared from Subway is alleged to be into kiddie . What is this world coming to? Luckily Matt and Jay are back to break it all down for everyone in a way that we can all understand. Crazy things have been happening in Matt and Jay's worlds too. Breakfast with longtime friends and bad experiences with Taco Bell highlight a summer of crazy and stupid. People are still screaming at each other over that racist Confederate Flag and the number of Republicans running for president continues to grow at an alarming pace. Plus, a couple of new people have jumped into the shallow end of the Democratic race. Not to worry though, Matt and Jay are fully prepared to make fun of every last one of them. Canadian Bureau Chief Jamie Mapleleaf will be here along with the IWS Players to enterain, inform and make everyone very uncomfortable. And of course we'll be taking YOUR CALLS!
